RAHHHHHH
dont know about you man but.. I'd sit through anything beanley hallsworth makes 😎
What are you?? Some type of 60bpm noob?!!!
Because I am. LOL!!
Everyone wants the view without the climb. There is absolute great content throughout the whole video.
It’s not 40 minutes it’s 39:35 minutes, get a life
bro this feels like a 90's guitar lesson tape, but the teacher isn't trying to show off
As a almost 50yo frustrated guitarrist, this is absolute fantastic
Babe wake up, new Bradley Hall lesson just droped
I appreciate these videos Bradley, good man.
Nice Sails of Charon reference! That would be a sick “How to actually play “ video, first solo!
Thank you Bradley!! Absolute legend!!!!
Excellent lesson Bradley, you are such a gifted teacher. THANK YOU!!
The final 'chapter' helped me a lot. Jam sessions will be more fun now for sure!
Thanks m8!
Thanks a ton Bradley I've been struggling with creating riffs and already less then 24 hours since uploading it's been a great foundation for me
I had to look up the difference between diad versus double stops. The rest of the theory made complete sense.
Such great content, thank you for sharing.
This is the most inspiring riff writing clip I've seen so far, and I've seen a lot of them. Thanks alot!
Great lesson, Bradley! Very good tips, clear explanations
Love your channel as always thanks 🙏 you 😊
If not for Metal riffing I'd have no riffing at all. 🤘💯
Hey! That tab looks like it was written using Noteflight! That’s what I use! Awesome!
The first one is my riff writing plan.
Really good tips and tricks here. Will send this over to my lad to demystify some of the stuff. Thanks
Thanks man, that was really helpful!!

Can some of this be applied to beans?
No. However, beans can be applied to some of that.
Bradders... Awesome as always!! I have a question about song writing. I've not been playing too long but i recently signed up to your patreon/music school. I tried the free trial for 2 days before i wad like "yep!! Sign me up. This is well worth £10.50 a month!!". I've learnt quite a lot already, I now know about chord progressions and keys. My question is when writing a riff, how does that fit into it with the progression. Does it follow the progression?? Or is it just made up of notes from the key??
Any help you can provide me would be massive. Thank you for taking the time to read my comment!!
EDIT: Nevermind. I've just got to the part I needed!!! Thank you mate!!!! The wealth of knowledge you provide for such a small fee is INCREDIBLE. And if anyone else is reading this that hasn't subscribed to his Patreon/Guitar School yet... then what the bloody hell are you waiting for?? You're gonna get better so much faster with this level of help. Do it.
Thank you Beanley, great video! Do someone know what is he using for guitar tone, it is very dry and crushing, really love that
Can some of this be applied to bass?
you mean the bassline?
@@jmemarlin yeah, writing basslines
@@Vilu245 yes, you can. progressions do not depend on the instrument, just like any leitmotif does not depend on the instrument. the difference is in application - if the bass is the leading instrument, then everything is without frills, play in key and play well, if it belongs to the rhythm section, then you either repeat the notes after the guitar, or play the tonics or notes of the chords, if you play jazz or something similar. be that as it may, everything is limited only by your skills and imagination
All of it needs to.
Definitely. I’m a guitar player who learned bass afterwards. My advice pertains to Metal since that’s what I play.
At first I recommend following the guitar parts pretty much note for note.
Makes it easy, keeps everything neat, and presents a thick driving combined tone.
Just remember that muting on bass is not the same as muting on guitar!
After that you can start harmonizing with the guitar parts, playing the third or fifth to the guitars root for instance, I really like this when used sparingly during fills or transitions.
Obviously you can play any interval here, experiment.
Next step is going rogue and basically just playing the roots, and chord changes, but throwing runs and fills around between.
Nah show me some Jeff Loomis riffs

Wooow
I feel like modern metal with subgenres is getting old and people are loosing interest in metal.
But who knows...
I just feel like we need something new, like it was in 90s with nu metal, rap rock, all that stuff.
This dude looks familiar 👀 👁️👃👁️
Awsomeeeeee❤
