Sc staff being what it is just like idk what to think James Coley leaving after 6 weeks sucked but there's multiple coaches on the staff that are in there 1st 2nd or 3rd year coaching at college level, sterling Lucas, Dowell logains, Joe decamilis, were all only in the nfl pretty much prior to coaching at sc, Dowell had a year at Arkansas prior, Clayton white the new RB coach are the most exp coaches on the staff. Lonnie Teasly is in his 2nd season ever coaching OL he was an analyst prior, TRob the DL coach hasn't been coaching long at the college level either its alot of younger coaches or NFL coaches which can create with exp a really really good staff

I'm gonna have to disagree on the Bush/Heisman issue. USC/Bush broke the rules, back then, and got caught. They must suffer the consequences of those actions. The fact that we have NIL today, or a court case today, is completely irrelevant to how things were back then. Manziel is simply wrong on this issue. Accountability is important and necessary to any system of rules. That being said, I have little faith/confidence that the NCAA will do the right thing and continue to hold them (USC/Bush) accountable.
Don’t forget about the horrific schedule. Miami could end up playing only one ranked team. If Mario can’t win 11 games with this piss poor schedule....

Mario’s recruiting seems to be at Butch Davis’s level; however, it took Butch five years to reach elite status. Time will tell if Mario and his staff can get there. Mario and Co. have to overcome 20 years of poor coaching and player development, no depth, very little talent, and full-on mediocrity.

Florida is too high on that coaching tier list. Head coach record vs p4/5 opponents matters more than games coached Napiers record is God Awful in that department...this from a Florida fan.
Yeah the Auburn staff ahead of the Texas staff is definitely confusing. Their evaluations definitely have some something weighted wrong. Every Tier 1 and 2 staffs mentioned should be ahead of Auburns.

As a long-time USC fan myself, I love Josh hitting the nail on the head with the rules the NCAA had at the time. It is only the uneducated people that constantly throw the word "cheated" at Reggie Bush, Pete Carroll, and USC. The family received benefits in 2005 when Reggie was in his final year at USC. He was NEVER paid to come to USC by the school or Carroll. He NEVER took enhancements to improve his play on the field. He NEVER did anything to gain a competitive advantage on the field, which last time I checked, the heisman is what you do ON the field. The NCAA and SEC hated USC. They hated that they were winning, and USC went into SEC land and spanked the SEC. 4-0 under Carroll and 2004 USC would have crushed 2004 Auburn. And when I hear about him breaking rules at the time, they were as Josh calls it AND the Federal courts said that those are some BS rules. Illegal or unfair rules as I'd like to call it. He 100% deserves his heisman back, and USC is already ready to add #5 back at the Coliseum.

If the coaching model was predictive, UF would be a Tier Bottom staff. Where else would you have a staff about to be fired? (After the 2024 season).
