Oops!!! There are more than 10 websites and software included in this video. Initially this was going to be a top 5 but increased the amount of content prior to completing this video.... If you're a beginner wanting to learn how to code, the sites mentioned early in this video are a good place to start to learn the basic concepts. For more experienced programmers, you'll find sites and software for you mentioned in the latter half of this video. Thanks for watching!
You are amazing man, thanks so much you just hit the point for beginners that don't have a clue how to code. Now i don't have to seach anymore!! Thanks mate!!

@@joeddenn I'm doing better let's put it that way! Lol getting the raspberry pi helped and I learned how to hack stuff.. I just need to make a simple game where you click on a box, and it lifts to uncover something or if the players is unlucky, they’ll find nothing. Ideally it would also keep their scores for a long period of time. The actual game lasts about month and this side game would be something I want them to be able to open on their own.
TIS-100 is one of my all time favorite games. I really really love this game. It is strictly for people who already know how to program (better if you know assembly - especially an old 8-bit CPU like the 6502).
Its not really strictly for people who program. I beat the game long before learning to program. The asm in that game is simplified compared to real asm languages.
I liked the fact that one of the games from Hour of Code - Ozaria - even had accessibility for screen reader users (blind learners!) Long live #Accessibility!
Thank you for this video! I want to learn code and thought, maybe there are games to help and I found this video. Again, thank you for the video and keep it up, later.👍

Teaching it to talk vs learning to use that talking are completely different things. This is great for beginners, but for people who want to find a job in the field, it's a bit more complicated than this.
these are all the kinda websites that a coding class summer camp is gonna put you on instead of actually teaching you in fact one time 2 coding camps i went to used the exact same tutorial for a text-based rpg game that they pretended was their own lmao
