  • I was asked by @Joseph Brandenburg the developer of ChainTools to have a look at his new add-on .
An addon for Blender by Joseph Brandenburg
    About Chain Tools
ChainTools is an addon for riggers that want to quickly prototype new
ideas, or create novel, complex rigs that can't be generated by existing
automatic rigging tools. Instead of creating an entire rig from a set
of parameters, ChainTools automates the creation and management of bones
and groups of bones. If Rigify is like a butcher's cleaver, ChainTools
    is like a surgeon's scalpel.

Thank you very much! Thank you for presenting the ChainTools, the addon helps me a lot with my project ( something with tentacles). Thank you for mentioning Joseph Brandenburg, he has only a few videos in his channel, but Joseph creating an octopus is just was I needed. Thank you for your lovely accent. I don't understand every word you say at once, but I could listen to your voice explaining things in Blender all day long. So, thank you so much, good sir, and please carry on making more Blender tutorials.

Admittedly, it took me a bit to accustom my ears to your accent, but I am a richer person for it now that I have. I ever look forward to watching and listening to your videos as they are filled with useful information and delightful humor. Thank you.

I can have the WORST of mornings, but as soon as my ears pickup "Araht gahys, hoows eet gooin?" my day starts to pick up right quick :D

Just imagine I listen to your accent and Australian accent twice a week all winter. The 2 are on my curling teams. What a time that is.
    Cheers

What is this? A tutorial straight out of Burnistoun?! Up de rood, mate! Up de rood... But seriously, brilliant little vid, Steven Scott. Nice addon by Joseph Brandenburg. When I start animating I will be sure to revisit. (hope it's soon) Thanks for sharing. ... of course the subtitles are a mess - computers can't understand Scottish!

I'm so not used to such an accent but it makes me laugh, no offense intended, feels like an old mage teaching me Blender or something, but really, the teaching is great and I'm learning the accent to my ear, thanks a bunch for the video, great stuff ! And I really like your spirit if I may say. Will be on the lookout for your next video !

Ah wow, so, if I got it right, you can create a nurbs curve and then create a bone chain, and ¿update the rig modifying the curve? I've used somethign similar in Cinema 4d to create hanging iron chains, and I miss it quite a lot using blender
