Me and my duo were in the storm most of the game Cuzz we the circle was all the way across the map but we had med kits and slurp splashes so we were managed to survive storm sickness for about 1 - 2 minutes and we killed the last duo and got the win
Back in around season 7 i won a game just healing in the storm.. pretty stupid idea but it was fun

Me and my freinds tried and we stayed for 10 min even if you heal at the last second it takes away all you health
Actual function of Storm Sickness:
After taking ~500 total damage in storm, storm damage to you will be multiplied by 3.
And eventually the storm just one taps you with full hp
@@Jmcallqe7 no - storm damage maxes out at 10/s meaning the highest possible damage is 30/s (unless they changed it)

I remember when someone was using this in a tournament in chapter 2 in the orchard. Then they removed the ability to use campfires for a while there
I remember I used to go with 4 people in squads and get as much meds as possible then wait in the storm till we won those were the good days

i experimented with storm sickness in ch 4 season 1, if your in the storm long enough. i was going in and out of the circle and constantly healing as i had several med kits on me.. after a few ticks of storm sickness damage. i healed up to full. and the next tick in the storm insta killed me by doing a complete 100 damage to me!!
It was nessacary.
Imagine what your character feels. Being burned alive is 15 health a second. Storm and storm sickness together would be 15-25 health per second, must be painful.

Its been a thing. I remember when Ch2 released, there was a tourney where some guy hid in Slurpy the entire game and he won like that, so they added storm sickness to stop people from pulling off the same strat

I tried returning to fortnite with my brother because he really likes it and we almost always got terrible zones and we kept getting held in storm, we were doing really well scavenging a ton of heals but then storm sickness kicked in and we lost
I remember when it was a 50v50 and someone was in the store with like 5 campfires and so many kits
Um correction when i got it it immediately did 30 damage to my health with one blow then died on the next takeoff
Sure but 8 minutes in storm is still a while. Either leave the storm and med kit or enter storm at a later time.

There is one, the mythic heavy sniper, but that only one shots in regular modes.
Also it takes like 2 days to grow mythic weapons so its pretty rare

they should add storm zombies all types of zombies except there purple and they form crystals in the storm which they spawn from with crystals and mushrooms all on them they do more damage the higher the tick and are weaker the closer to the zone there max health decreases the close they get and bullets do more damage and the environment slowly corrupts with dead purple trees crystals purple vines and other plants carnivores plants and poisonous plants with mushrooms poison and bouncing ones big and small coming out of the ground with crystals its another reason to stay out the storm
It's not 7 minutes! It depends on the damage you get. For example when the storm makes 8 damage / second it takes less then a minute then you already get it
