      Sad, but true. Only good thing that _may_ come out of it, is that they learn enough to save the next person.

    Why not show pictures? I had an inflamed breast with orange peel skin for several days but by the time I finally got an appointment it had cleared up . It was less than a year after a double lumpectomy. I still have thickened skin in an area. My surgeon just shrugged her shoulders.

      I think it was nothing

    • @ookipuki
      @ookipuki 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. Show pictures. Tell us if it can come and go. Ridiculous. I was in pain for 2 months... stabbing pain. Red , purple bluish veiny rashes. I finally after bring tortured by my primaries saying "it's nothing" the surgeon didn't want to do a biopsy and sent me to wait more weeks for blood work to rule out fibromyalgia. ....... it was my breasts that were hurting . Not my body.... the night before my finally arrived appointment I got sick like the flu night before . Went away.
      About 5 days after my appointment I'm developing red splotches on breast again. Still have discharge. .... still in pain.. my spine hurts now and developing a cough. ... I'm so fking tired of this. Are these ppl insane ?

    My IBC was found following schingles gone wild, turned inward. God awful pain, and it had already invaded my bones also very painful. I was dignosed within 2 weeks of ER visit. In addition to all the imaging, i was given 6 biopsies as they didnt know what they were dealing with. Both surgery & radiation were ruled out, but i underwent experimental radiation during my chemo treatment. After 6 mo, chemo turned on me but TG new hormone treatments were approved & i met critea. Btw i was sure it was a flesh eating bacteria hard to believe it was such a rare cancer.

      Did you have Shingles or was the rash mistaken for shingles? What was your symptoms? I went to the doctor with a rash, the rash looks like it’s almost gone now. Just a little pink discoloration, but the doctor said she thought it may have been shingles and gave me some steroids. I’m hoping I get better in a few days 🙏

    I just had a Routine mammogram in April or June and was normal. On August 15, 2023, I developed a weird looking rash on my right breast. It doesn’t hurt or itch but bleeds easily and is a bit scaby. Almost like water blisters on the breast. I had Petechiae but that went away. I messaged my PCP and sent photo and she restricted my secure messaging. Now, I cannot get the care I need, and I’m a Veteran at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Virginia.

    I was diagnosed with breast cancer last summer 2019. I went through a lumpectomy and developed a serious infection. Before radiation began I developed a large red cicular shape on the opposite side if the breast. I spoke with the radiation people and they sluffed it off. I spoke my concerns with the radiology oncologist and he sluffed it off. After radiation this area is thick and hard. I shared my concern with the oncologist and she has sluffed it off. This is the only area of the breast that got thick and hard. I have a mammogram scheduled in July. Will this mammogram show if this area is of concern. It will be 1 year since my last mammogram or ultrasound. It still bothers me very much.
