Thanks, Eric, I have so many ideas of things I want to film around our farm. I just hope everybody continues to find it interesting when it’s not about vegetables.
why not? for us non farmers (who dont have a clue what goes on) we would love to see just what a farm does all through the year and what your farm grows as a whole.
It's n nice to see that. Also you tube has many videos of different things to help harvest. Like wind systems. And may wes to save the bottom of the header for rocks. Interesting to learn that you and your brother are mostly a no till farm. That reduces carbon and tilling unless needed, also produces carbon. Save your soil. I think they have attachment for those ditches to smooth out and refill.
If you got time I enjoy it I used to have a buddy that made fermented soybeans they actually had to be such perfection that it was quite labor intensive I guess that's how they make tofu
So far, not too bad, definitely have seen better, they’re kind of all over the board right now, but don’t have high hopes for the later beans because they were affected by the drought, unfortunately.
we have really chilly nights as of late, about 7-8 Celsius or 44-46 Farenheit ,followed by sunny warm days.We got some decent rains in September, it's an awesome month from the weather's stand point.
Broyans' Farms fields yield more rocks than vegetables.I am amazed how rocky their fields are.Well, they have really high hills around with bunches of hillbillies living there )
Yeah, I’ve never understood Why so many farmers around here still work up all the ground when it’s been proven that no till is as good or better for yields and your protecting the topsoil, improving soil structure, and increasing the biodiversity within the soil.
Good question. I think it can be both. Probably a noun When used as our farm name it’s because we have multiple farms and multiple families on those farms
I'm prepared for this to be unpopular, but spend the off season interviewing your brother, and maybe your father, and forget about a veggie boy. You don't need to leave the farm.

I like it because it shows the diversity of your farm. Here in Westerville until yesterday we had had only .10 of rain since like June.
Glad we finally got a couple inches of rain but little too late now
@@wishwellfarms exactly, but let’s build up the ground water for next year.
Your videos are terrific with all aspects interesting. You are a wonderful gentleman. Blessings to you and yours from N Idaho...

Rocky fields still produce great
We may have lots of rocks, but still nothing compared to Broyans and veggie boys
" Black Sunday " in Texas, in 1930-s, when epic scale sandstorm swept through Texas and Oklahoma , was a direct consequence of deep ploughing.
Yeah, I’ve never understood Why so many farmers around here still work up all the ground when it’s been proven that no till is as good or better for yields and your protecting the topsoil, improving soil structure, and increasing the biodiversity within the soil.
Show us everything mate all good
Thanks for the feedback
Interested 👍
I don't mind the grain part. I do watch another channel that does corn and beans but why not
Thanks for the feedback
There is actually some money you can get for putting water ways in. They pay year after year.
Correct, we get paid for all them through our local soil and water conservation agency (FSA/USDA) we have many acres of waterways.
@LtColDaddy71 Coals brother uses his to actually grow grass for hay
@@dwstrat1377 you have to look at the contract you have. It could potentially get you in trouble, or lower payment.
Is farms a noun or a verb?
Good question. I think it can be both. Probably a noun When used as our farm name it’s because we have multiple farms and multiple families on those farms
I should have been a farmer.
Have you ever planed Milo?
No, we have not
@@wishwellfarms That stuff itches me to death. Grown a lot in Texas

Maybe both!
