This video guides you through navigating the California Department of Social Services website and walks you through both sections A and B of the application process.

One of the forms mentioned in the video was a surety bond. I was able to find a general definition:
A contract surety bond is typically used to guarantee the performance of a contractor, who is the principal, for a construction contract. The contract surety bond protects the obligee, the project owner, from harmful business practices and failure of the contractor to finish or to properly complete the specified work. In this case, the specified work is the home care services offered. Hope this helps.

Hey OHIO, check out the new law been passed$$$ b y OH legislature---"Beginning on July 1, 2022, home health agencies must have valid licenses to provide either skilled home health services or 'nonmedical home health services' through one or more employees. Non-agency providers must also have a license to provide skilled or nonmedical home health services." Cha-ching!
