Strictly Titles (2021)

Opening theme and titles for BBC's Strictly Come Dancing 2021 (series 19) which was won by Rose and Giovanni.
A minor recut with tweaks, introducing the celebs and their pro dancers in a slightly different order, and with the jerkiness smoothed out by adding extra 'interpolated' frames. Somehow, despite all the fab-u-lous graphics, Strictly's original titles look jerky because every 10th frame is missing! Putting back the missing frames transfers the jerkiness from the foreground couples to the background, which hopefully is less noticeable. It would also make it about 10% longer so, rather than slowing down the music to fit, some of the 17 segments are topped-and-tailed instead. Unlike the live show on a Saturday night, the theme tune from the weekday 'It Takes Two' programme plays uninterrupted by a live audience clapping along.
