Great content as always Lee! I got the plastic trim under the windscreen painted a Matt black or you could go for gloss. It looks much better and will last for much longer than treatment
Tried many products over the years, many ceramic coats will do this, however I use GYEON CanCoat will do a great job, it’s easier to apply and bery cost effective, can be used on paint, rubber, plastics and glass (but not the windscreen)
Great film Thankyou , my 996 back window suround has started to flake quite badly , bought a new one but i cant find a company to install it . Have you Any tips ?
Very good results though not quite ‘for good’ as even the chap says one would have to revisit it periodically. For the scuttle, I would recommend to order a replacement part, significantly cheaper than you’d expect and probably no difference in cost vs cleaning products and the time/hassle.
You also need to order the two caps which cover the fixings they don’t come with the new valance.. .. From Porsche the one is £7ish and the other £13 ish I think from memory
It’s £157.53 inc the VAT for the part from Design911.. Porsche is probably cheaper.. they normally are for parts that only come from Porsche like this item
This felt a bit sponsored. I used C4 on my scuttle and eventually gave up and bought a new one, treatments seem ok for the less exposed parts but seem a bit of a recurring sticking plaster for the rest, Interested to see if this actually lasts. My bug bear now is the mirror plastics.
I used Gtechniq C4 and it really does a great job. Needs a few layers, but really brings the car back to life

Did mine with Koch Chemie PSS and it looks brand new 🙌

Enjoyed the video. My only gripe is that I wish you would include some information on prices.

Good point. I just checked the cost for a new scuttle from Design 911 - £147. Food for thought!

i'm confused, the link below goes to an alloy wheel coating product. I says nothing about plastic restoration.
