- Hello! In today's video I'm looking at the @MerlinAnnualPass - specifically the Merlin Membership, which allows you to pay for your Merlin Annual Pass over a 12 month term. I compare the differences between the different membership levels - Silver, Gold and Platinum. I then take you through the process of actually BUYING a pass and seeing how it works.
I still think the Merlin Membership in 2023 is good value for money, but the 'booking' system could be improved slightly - but I show all of that!

Really insightful and helpful video, huge shout for showing off the process of purchasing a pass too! I plan to become a passholder once I have a car and wanted to look up how to book days at the parks but also see what buying the pass looks like.

This makes me very sad, if I was closer to the midlands I’d be all over this like a fat man on chips. Living up in Scotland there is little point for me as there is very little Merlin attractions up hear
Yeah… unfortunately Scotland is very lacking in that department!
Why the joining fee? Its con as u need to join in order to get pass so thsts bit of scam

My assumption is an admin charge.. Bit like when you join a gym. it’s a one off thing, so unless you cancel your membership you could carry on paying the monthly fee for years to come.
Really informative video. It was nice to hear about experiences. I am sure if you give an overview of how the ticketing/fast track ticket process works and what the restriction are. Please could elaborate and give an example. Is there a limit on the number of family members that allowed to use the pass separately or attend with you. how cars can add to one membership.

For a family of four is it worth getting 3 x Silver and 1 x Platinum/Gold to get the free parking etc
Yes potentially.. just be aware of the date restrictions on the silver passes.
Might be a daft question, but we want to buy a pass for 2024.. if we buy it now then when does the pass start from, is it Jan 1st 2024? Its not very clear on there website and still shows the 2023 calendar
It starts from when you buy it.. so if you buy a Merlin Annual Pass now, it will run for 12 months. If you get a Merlin Membership then they will keep renewing it each month until you cancel (for a minimum term of 12 months)

I’m torn between silver and the gold I like going in weekdays when it’s not busy also attend fireworks events although my mate has 1 to he can get me in on his what also a bonus what would u recommend I should go for? I think also 20% discount is prob better than 10

Hi does booking system allow you to book straight away or u don't get slots straight away
Yes, you can book straight away once you’ve purchased the pass.
I can’t work out if platinum is worth it or not compared to gold
I won’t go anywhere but AT, but the AT only pass is rubbish
I think, if you want to go, whenever you like.. and are a Freestyle fan.. go for it!
