Hi, my name is Nicole and I am the owner of 'Be a Flamingo' a small UK based business making and selling crochet animals. Links that I remembered: actually-yarn.sumupstore.com www.sconch.com
I’ve been making amigurumi for years but only recently tried the chenille yarn to make plushies. It was difficult at first and, yes, the chenille yarn breaks and shreds. Very frustrating. You are doing amazing with your amigurumi. Don’t worry, the sewing on parts gets easier. 😊
I'm still experimenting with the chenille but my heart is with the cotton yarn :) I'm wondering if there is someone out there who would sew on the parts for payment - great business idea 🤣 xx
I love how you giggle at your makes! So do i. They make me happy. Love everything! Of course, I made the comment before watching the rest of the video. Lol. Your piggie is adorable! You may have changed it already, but I think your Dino is supposed to have the stripes in front. It will change the shape a little bit. If you try it again, you will see what I mean. Keep up the good work and your bubbly personality!
Thank you so much for your sweet comments. I never thought about the stripes being at the front but that makes sense, I will re-look at the pattern and have another go :)xx
You did absolutely AMAZING for this being your first time!!! Definitely should save those so even 2 months from now you can compare your work. Ok yeah I was typing this comment and stopped dead mid sentence when you said you don’t like crocheting plushies lol Doing the smaller in keychains would be awesome. You can market them as “backpack buddies” for school age children.
Aww thank you :) I think I over did the making plushies and got hyper-critical over my makes so fell out of love with them...this week I am back making them LOL xx
I totally agree! I love them and have a few floating around. As a sewing fabric person originally I thought the straight ones where the best but soon changed my mind :) xx
They are all sooo cute! I especially love the dino with the scarf and the pig with the tutu
Thank you so much xx

I find the bent tip darning needles are the best for amigurumi 🥰
