Now I am watching your yarn haul…I hate being practical😂. I was also looking at King Cole yarn online. Your order nicely showed how lovely it is. When I do order, I want to try it. Typed a long comment and I popped out then came back and lost it all😂. Here goes again, love the mug you made, the Avacado to my Toast is my favourite saying. One of my fav ones are those crazy looking chickens or stressed cat that says “I’m fine, everything is fine…”. Maybe you can find that file. Definitely aim for Christmas markets if nothing else. We all need to clear out our stock and have money to buy more materials. My goal is to use all the materials/yarn etc before I buy more AFTER my next order arrives. 😊 See you next week!!

I agree that cotton yarn makes the best amigurumi. It’s durable and has great definition and detail. I love using bedspread cotton also. For now I’m having some fun with the plush yarns. Watching your content always puts me in a happy mood. Thank you for making TH-cam a happier place. 🤗

You crack me up! Love all of your makes. Your cotton makes are beautiful and extra kudos for those. I do NOT like working with cotton haha. I think you should sell your cats. Maybe just redo the eyes. I am not good at embroidery eyes but want to practice. If you haven’t seen it, I suggest watching April’s tutorial on embroidered eyes. Her channel is The Cosy Buckeye.

When I saw my fav TH-camr had posted I had to watch you immediately!! Got my coffee…back to watching😂. Some crocheters are making 3D dragon eggs that they stuff a crocheted dragon in. I enjoy crocheting lots of little stingrays and whales so I have a basket of low priced items for the little kiddies. The little fabric dolls are cute! I can’t wait for the new year and see what you’ve made. I have seen crafters that sell sewing, crocheting and 3D things (Cottontail Crafts) so you don’t have to limit yourself. Glad you are back, get over your cold and feel well soon. ❤

The mushie that is squinting? I would put a pink stripe under his eye so it looks intentional or a pink stripe under the squinty one and a stripe on top of the larger eye to make them look even.

You know, you are my favourite TH-camr! Your sense of humour just makes me smile. Man cold😂. I love your cotton creations, they have such nice stitch definition and a change from chenille plushies. You have the dream life, craft, craft, dog sit 😂. The bumble bee is so adorable…leave the face, it adds character. A little embroidered colourful sprinkles would perk up the round icing gingerbread. Your darker gingerbread is awesome!!! The icing looks fantastic - you are so talented. And the snowmen and reindeer, wow, so cute. I haven’t the attention span to finish big projects, takes me days to complete. I was searching patterns and saw a crocheted nativity scene, thought…be a flamingo could do this! My scene would have baby Jesus and half a Joseph 😂. I could start for next Christmas. Really like the Christmas ornaments and the air freshener. You have lots of variety so can’t wait to see your market video.

Hiya, you have been busy! The dolls you made were fabulous, I haven't had the courage yet to attempt the doing any thing as advanced as that. I've mostly made clothes for dolls and the baby unit in my local hospital. Your work gets better every time I see it. I saw recently a way to make the neck more firm on your dolls and things. one way was to buy the big foam bendy curlers you can get in the pound shops and home bargains n the like. and use them along with stuffing to form the neck. Another way was to make a tube just slightly smaller by a stitch or two and the length you need it to be. Stuff the tube firmly, place it in the neck of the toy and then work more stuffing materiel down the sides of the tube and voila! you will have a stiff neck hee hee! I wish you well in your upcoming market and I do hope you will keep making throughout the winter months and coming on to show all your progress. You're going to need a bigger craft room as you get better for all the makes you won't want to part with. Warm wishes.....we need them with the temps coming our way. Cyber hugs Sheila :0)x

Your items with cotton yarn are gorgeous. I usually use plush yarn but I had someone commission me to do a cotton yarn project. Even though the results are very beautiful, it took so long to finish and my hands hurt by the end of it. My first market was a night market on the 4th of October and second market was a day market the very next day (not a good idea, I do not recommend 😂). My next market is the 26th too which is today. It’s currently a little past 4am and I am beyond stressed that I don’t have enough stuff given the expected foot traffic and I sold more than half of my stuff at my first two markets (I didn’t have much anyway)
