- This video is not meant to entertain, but instead was created to document our gold ore collection process and security procedure while in the field at this mining claim. This is another one of our "Try-Before-You-Mines" - the Middlegate Mine in the Chalk Mountain Range of Churchill County Nevada (East of Fallon). Basically, this is an opportunity to sample the ore in the comfort of your backyard in order to make an educated decision on whether you want to purchase this potential commercial mine or not.
I am suspicious of a group or individual that uses names, uniforms, and vehicle decals that look like official government issue. Why are you purporting to be a government agency?
Man....that is the cleanest miner I have ever seen!!
When you pick and choose in random areas like this, it's called "high grading" and it gives an inaccurate picture of the mine. I truly enjoyed this video and wish I could have been there with you to give you some suggestions like: please wear eye protection. A quick look with a lens would have confirmed the identity of those "gold" sparkles. So much iron and sulfur is obviously present, so the sparkles could easily have been iron sulfide crystals (cubic). This spot is obviously well mineralized and certainly merits further investigation. Thanks for posting.
Who would be foolish enough to buy a mine sight unseen and unsampled by themselves? A fool and his money are soon parted.
Appreciate the interest Augie, thanks!! Montello itself has never been a big producer of gold, it was more of a railroad town. But there was some placer mining there in the early 1900's. The nearby mining camp of Delano (36 miles north of Montello and just a ghost town today) was a big producer, and Montello served for a while as the main supply point for it for a while until about 1925.
I just want tour job! How awesome is your “office”. Amazing
If possible I would like to up vote on moving the bucket beneath the area you are working so you don't have to keep going at collection one handful at a time... and maybe a small shovel. Hate to see someone work hard when they don't have to. Like the video though. Enjoyed seeing someone use a x-Ray device for prospecting.
Exactly what i was going to say... I need this guys job... lol
I use a tarp under work area for tests and only keep what lands on the tarp .
California plates in Nevada...lovely...

Could have placed a collector tarp where you broke it off the wall and placed that in the bucket as well.
And why not inform your family or friends first. It's more a security question I know,, but how is one to tell about anything anymore?
Lets see him put the meter on where he's been digging how come he didn't show the hole cave befor he dug and how do you know If he's going to send what he said and not a bunch of rocks
no chance for a sample of the main ore body down in the mine...
Very Informative .
What they don't tell you is how expensive the chemicals are to process this gold and turn it into elemental gold that you can actually receive money for.
Hmmm ... he did mention that there is free mill gold here ... if that's the case then a couple of crushers should do the trick.
Free mill just needs crush and pan. No chemicals in prosess

Dont for get the shipping
Free mill gold or not it still needs chemical refining to get it to .999
The gun that you hold it cost and place to buy thank you
It costs more than any prospecting will earn you in return
If your numbers are accurate Barrick, Newmont or one of the other larger mining outfits would have drilled and tested cores in that location.
How much is it for the mine
Gloves?
Good job
California plates?
Interesting, May I ask if there are any mines near Montello Nevada that are fairly good producers of gold? Thank you.
The answer to that is yes contact me
Very entertaining

Who da radio for?
You've never found any or you would not be talking to us, to busy digging!
A sample should only be from 1 spot not from a few if you want to sample a few they all need to be in bags labeled with tags on the wall where each sample came from you're a joke .
Backyard? I do all my panming in the living room watching TV. Mgtow forever
