There is strong evidence to indicate Poseidon himself could be her Father. In case you didn't know, Poseidon claimed the land for his own. He separated from the land to make it an island. He married the princess and made lots of babies. Or so one theory says. Poseidon's children and his animal creatures were know to be unusually tough and sturdy.
