I mean...fairy existing as a pokemon type just eliminates the biggest threats in cynthia's team: the previously non-vulnerable spiritomb, and the wrecking ball that is garchomp normally.

It is kind of sad to see her click Shadow Ball every turn like she's eight years old and doesn't understand status moves, while Sana is buffing Togekiss to sweep her team.
Kinda agreed, she is programmed to swap out to avoid bad type matchups, but that's not quite the same thing as being smart enough to swap out to avoid being hard setup on like that.

That’s not how pokerus works…Like at all… Pokerus doubles the rate at which you gain EVs. It does not change your EV cap or anything like that. Also, stats update dynamically as you gain EVs, so if for some reason Harboiled wasn’t fully EV trained by level 100 (which I doubt) then it could still make use of it if Sana wanted to bother with any further EV training
