I really want to say this and give some informations. KPOP COMMUNITY is actually really kind of toxic but it's amazing somehow. KPOP is actually kind of ruled by the 3 BIGGEST COMPANIES (SM, YG, JYP) these company's artist are the only one who like really got popular and all because of course their company got their backs and also they are really good (all kpop groups are awesome). But BTS is really special and one of a kind. They broke all the prejudices. They talked about social issues that normally cannot be talked especially in Korea. They write and produces their songs. They worked hard from the start. They struggled so much. This is why we love BTS so much and ARMYS will do anything to stand for them. Some people may think, we love or going crazy with them because of their looks but no. BTS is our live savers. We can relate to them in every aspects in our life and they made songs with beautiful and moving lyrics to comfort us. They are inspirations and motivators that we will make it if we persevere and work hard. I've been in this fandom for 4 years now. I'm independent since 17, working student, and came from a broken family. I got through so much hardships but having BTS in my own life is like the most wonderful thing happened to me. They gave me so many reasons to keep going, have a dream and especially love myself. So many ARMYs can relate to me. This is why we're so dedicated and want to give everything to them because they deserved it the most in this world. We're giving them back or repaying them by being supportive in everything. Same here, I'm a 48 year old ARMY and damn proud of it.😉 When I was battling cancer I was spiraling out of control with my depression. Besides my family I turned to BTS for comfort and they did not disappoint. Their lyrics, goofiness (always had me laughing) and most of all their humbleness had me in awe. Because of my cancer I've had over 7 surgeries in less then a year ( just had one a week ago) but I'm happy to say that I'm 1 year and 9 months cancer free now. They are one of a kind. 💜💜 ARMY HWAITING ✊🏼
The thing about idols in Korea, they rarely show vulnerability and always have to look perfect. BTS never have to do that. They do vlogs, they will broadcast live and just talk about their struggles, feelings, new discoveries, and what they learn as teenagers and later on, as young adults. They are relatable to some, but because they do not fit in with the industry’s standards (nor does their company - which is doing things their own way), they were (are?) hated by others. I mean, up to now, they are still being used, attacked, by companies/media/individuals for being who they are, as big as they are. Thats why Armys are passionate and commited to support the boys, however we can. Ppl say everything is about breaking records these days, but its the least we could do for BTS.

The big 3 companies rule South Korea music industry. They basically run the media and have control since they are powerful. Bts were edited out of many broadcast shows. South Korea slept on bts because they were from a small unknown company and were dirt poor. Because of the power of army, now they finally are starting to accept bts. Why they got hate also is because the kpop fandoms from other big kpop groups didn't like bts winning the biggest award (also known as daesangs) instead of their favorite group. That's why they started the petition and hating. Exo'ls (Exo's fandom) and VIP's (Big bang's fandom) accused Bts of plagiarism over ridiculous things like hair colors, clothings, concepts, etc. There was also the break wings project where other kpop fandoms United and trended this hashtag on Twitter. It was all due to jealousy and because bts (from small company) were overtaking big groups from big companies. The petition was made because Bts won a daesang artist of the year award aand exo'ls made a petition for bts to give that award back since exo did not win...saying it was rigged and out of charity only. It was such an outrage they send it to blue house (south korean government) with tons of signatures. There was also on twitter they trended number 1 hate hashtag in Korea against bts "plagiarism boys" and hate hashtags. It was due to Bts getting more success.www.quora.com/Why-did-EXO-Ls-trend-a-plagiarism-hashtag-towards-BTS-in-2016 There are many articles and videos on this. Bts made song called 2! 3! to cheer up armys and you know the purple ocean project by armys. Bts were always supported by army and bts supports army. There were also sajaegi accusations. It was pretty bad but now bighit takes legal action against defamers. Bts fought their way to the top, yet they still have many haters. I'm proud of bts. Bts just has a way of captivating an audience with emotion deep meaning. Vocals, rap, dance, and their storytelling. Thats why they stand out from other groups and are known worldwide. They helped me with my own inner struggles including societal pressures, depression/anxiety with their empowering lyrics. Topics discussed youth, opression, embrace all moments in life, friendship, hardwork, determination, and stand up for oneself. They even talk about depression. They don't make music/songs for the sake of doing that, every song has a purpose/ meaning behind it. They write/produce their own music. They helped a lot of people overcome many obstacles in life. They give hope to all the dreamer in the world and not to give up. I look up to them more than idols. They are life goals. Their lyrics are impactful. They go against taboos of South Korea such as mental illness, students having the pressure to get into SKY (top three universities of South Korea) or being study machines, going against societal norms, oppression, against south korean system and gorvernment. That's what makes them stand out personally.Their lyrics have saved many from suicidal thoughts. Bts music and lyrics are relatable. All the music videos are connected with a storyline going on for more than 3 years since they started. They use metaphors, symbolism, from literature, movie references. A whole Bts utopia.

Total strangers connected instantly through the message and love of BTS. There is power in positive messages and strength in numbers. You truly never walk alone 💜💜💜. No Time This is so true. BTS came into my life literal days before my grandfather (who was more like my father) went into the hospital. He then passed away 3 weeks later, and that was around the time TEAR came out. Their music helped me so much throughout that time and I will forever be grateful to them for that.
I am crying with you guys.. I've been their fan since their debut. I saw Jin in university in Korea before he debut. He was such a sweetheart who was always kind and polite to people. He was the first reason why I tried to support and protect them from nonsense rumor and harsh criticism. BTW, they've never copied other's work. Fortunately, we have 'proof' now. But they got so much ridiculous hate from others back then bc of their looks, names and their poor background..etc. I am going to support them until their last show and even after. BTS IS NOT A GROUP, BTS IS A FAMILY please. And yes, same. Their speech, song lyrics and the fandom as a stand alone has been a big part in helping and healing me. If you watch their earlier days' dance pratices you can tell how much time and hard work they put into practice. They might started as a hip hop group but by watching those dance practice videos, they could have been a dance group. 5 of them did not have dance backgrounds and yet you will see how precise and mesmerizing they are. They said average 12+ hours a day practicing. You just can't help but love these adorable dorkys.
I am so happy that you are finding your peace within you through the guys. I understand what you mean about being young parents and struggling. I am 54 yrs old and by the time I was 27 I already had 3 kids and have been with my husband for 7 yrs. It was hard. Too bad I did not have BTS back then. I support you and will pray for you.

I feel you. My friend who's a veteran army said BTS came when you needed them the most. My hardest time was in 2017 and that was when i found out about them for the first time. I'm so glad being part of army now.
Honestly I wasn't into kpop but discovered BTS during AMA's in 2017 & I'm so glad I found them. I managed to overcome dark times & bad days thanks to them so I'm so thankful to the boys. It's their sincerity & humbleness that won me over more than anything else. You don't find true artists like them anymore. I grew up really rough too and I've never had parental figures that deserved to be called that. I had a boyfriend for 5 years that became my first "roots." My first "homebase." But we broke up in December and it was harder than ever to have had that and lost it. Luckily, I found BTS end of August and before I knew it, they had become my "roots." It sounds cheesy and god knows it's hard to explain to people who just see BTS as a boyband but it's such a real, almost tangible comfort to me to have them. To have that unconditional love from someone and for someone. I'm stronger today with them than I feel I've ever been able to be. I'll never be able to thank them (and ARMY whose become a family to me) enough. I purple you all!

it makes me so happy whenever I see people react to bts out of a curiosity and then find inspiration and strength from their music, their message, and their brotherhood. there's so much bts content out there from the music itself to live performances, behind the scenes videos, their variety show on vlive, fanmade videos, etc that i worry sometimes that reactors will feel overwhelmed or pressured by all the suggestions, but i'm glad that you have genuinely been enjoying the journey and that you've come to love them for the same reasons we all do. your daughters may be too young to understand the depth of their message behind the music, but it makes me happy to think as they get older they have bts as artists and people to look up to as examples of hard work, passion, humility, family, and self-love, and that they have parents who want to give them the best in life and inspire these things in them as well :)
I love your reactions so much and I can totally relate! I’m 35 years old, married for 10 years as well and we have a 7 year old girl. My husband and I became army in Sept 2018 after being introduced by my 17 year old niece. She put an entire Love Yourself and Wings album on repeat during our 5 hours road trip drive. We fell in love with the music first. Their song ‘Epiphany’ and ‘the Truth Untold’ truly touched me during the time I needed the most. After getting to know the boys, their genuine, humbleness and love for the armys, we were sold!! Not to mention they’re totally funny and adorable... Fast forward 7 months later these boys are our idols! Never thought I would stand a ‘boy group’ at this age.. but they trully change our perspective. From watching TV series together with my husband.. now we’re both watching marathon of BTS’ Run episodes, Bon Voyage, youtube clips, doing MV theories and many more.. life was never this exciting! LOL.. you will not regret getting to know BTS 💜💜💜💜💜
It really rumbs off. I think everyone has their own struggle and it's crazy cause I feel ARMYs all come together through hardships. I'm just so glad you get it. BTS is something that comes once in a life time and I will never forget how much they helped me. It's just family and we are so freakin diverse that it brings so much more into it. I've just started watching you two and I just.. I feel the need to put this here altho you put this video out a month ago.. I got into BTS on March 29th, 2017, I now recognize that to be the most important and life-changing day of my entire life. For 4 or 5 years before that I hated myself a lot, didn't want to acknowledge that I felt different than what everyone was telling me and so I spent all that time just,, trying to not be alive to be blunt. But after getting to know these guys, learning their message and hearing "live your own life, go down your own path, you deserve your own happiness" - I finally began to live. I finally accepted the feelings I had, I came out to my parents that May and ever since then I've just been. breathing. Sure the past 2 years weren't easy, my parents weren't accepting of me in the slightest, but watching BTS videos and listening to their music got me through that time, got me through the moments I started to go back to that horrible mindset of not wanting to try anymore... but I say this all because of well 5:15 here in your video is the UN speech- Namjoon says "No matter where you're from, your skin color, your GENDER IDENTITY-" .. I can never see it without just crying, having namjoon say that one extra word after gender- "gender identity"- means the entire world.. it made me feel supported, like they were also here saying "this is real, you are valid, and you deserve to find your voice and speak" and that just breaks me to pieces. the fact I never accepted myself before them and then him just.. showing his support with that one extra word... I just don't think anything will ever mean more to me in my life than BTS. They've made me live, I wasn't living before, only breathing and just dealing with the things everyone said I had to deal with and do because "that's life"- they allowed me the opportunity to open my eyes and open my mind and learn about things outside of what everyone around me said. I know this is insanely long but I watch these reactions because they make me feel even more proud of them and feel like I'm fanboying along w/ other ARMYs although I'm only watching. I just want to thank you ahead of time for making these videos and clearly being so sincere with everything you say. Thank you
yes, BTS talks to us thru their music, campaigns and messeges. their music helps and heals us. many ARMYs struggled in life but found inspiration, support and love from BTS' music and theie amazing and beautiful personalities. watch Karma is an ARMY part 1 and 2. Am 23 years now but knowing myself in teenage years if I were in that position to ask people to come in my free concert I would never have had the courage to do that. Am proud of BTS for teaching me not to be ashamed of myself and no matter how bad a situation is there's better to come
My heart reaches out to you guys, you seem like such genuine people. I also got into BTS bc i was going through a rough part in my life. I got to know them right as i was falling into another depressive episode and all through out, they helped me by giving me smthing to look forward to everyday. My constant negative thoughts, my ugly self image, the suicidal tendencies- BTS was my only escape frm them. I looked forward to their content everyday, and at some point it became a way to prevent myself from tipping off to the other side ("i still have to watch this bts run ep tomorrow, i shouldnt") it was such a small thing but when everything is falling apart around you, you hold onto what makes you happy like a lifeline. During my stressful finals, I looked forward to BTS' content releasing, which helped me cope with the stress and the pressure bc I knew that there's smthng good waiting for me at the end of the week. Recently, I've been doing pretty well. i've had less suicidal thoughts for the last two months. I stopped excluding myself from the audience receiving BTS' lyrics and it helped boost my self image a lot. I wish you and your family the best, your kids are lucky to have such caring, open minded parents like you! I aim to be like namjoon when i grow up. I sure do hope so I do.

I don’t think you guys understand how much hate bts has gotten and still get from the whole kpop community. Many of us don’t look at bts as a kpop group but rather a “South Korean group” out of many reasons. I became an army In 2017 and the hate I’ve seen against bts is insanely much. Kpop Stans hate them because they’re successful, and when I say HATE them, I really mean it. It has always been like this for bts and army, which is why it’s so amazing to see bts rise to such high heights today. Their artistry and music is beyond anything and we’re so happy that we get to share it with the rest of the world today in a much bigger scale. Bts begun from scratch and truly soared to be the biggest group in the world rn. Beyond proud of them.
i feel you on the struggling to love yourself and feeling like BTS is speaking to me directly. they have a way of speaking to so many peoples pain and telling us its ok, soothing us and helping us build ourselves up. theyre more than just music, visuals and industry, they are leaders setting an example of self love and kindness. mentors in fighting through suffering and speaking yourself despite what others have to say. when i need that little bit of support, their words are there to remind me of what's important.

Sometimes it's hard for me nor to lash out when people talk bad about them but their motto iskill them with kindness. I've been an ARMY since 2014 I feel like their my kids. Thanks for loving them as much as do. To this day they are still the same humble kids that started out 6years ago and they do so much for their home towns and have been the besr ambassadors that Korea has ever had. There are many of us ARMYs have a similar or different but as difficult stories as yours..BTS brought us out of the dark into the light to share our stories and struggles..so we found each other and the ARMYs were formed..we share..laugh..cry..suggest and support each other from around the world..in Army..there is no separations by age..race.religion..cultures..social status.gender identity even language barriers..I have met so many ARMYs that I communicate with that I have never met but are closer than any family member because they know my struggles and they are always there no matter what time ..day or night..it is so amazing..ARMYs don’t judge we help..the,love from BTS members are felt through everything the say and do..they live what they know about us and give us hope that we too can also live and love ourselves more..and it’s alright to be depressed sometimes..not to know what the future holds..just live one day at a time and make it the best day..we have to stop letting other people’s misfortunes become ours..other people dreams become ours..our past distract us from our futures..it’s hard as hell..but better than living in hell all our lives..because of BTS and ARMYs..I now understand..before I never thought I could find a small amount of happiness in every day.but happiness in any amount is still happiness..if you guys need to talk about anything..speak it on your channel and ARMYs will respond to you immediately..I know this for sure...BTS are sent by the universe to heal and protect all of world and teach love and acceptance of one another..the world really need this right NOW..sending y’all love and I am newly subscribed #BTS Ahjumma Army #BTS Army over 60#CANCER Survivor 😊👵🏽👍🏽💜🇺🇸

Here's another inspirational fact for you: BTS's music has literally saved lives. There are people who've contemplated/attempted suicide but then changed their minds after listening to them. Yes, they're much more than just a K-Pop group. K-Pop has been around since the 90s, but you don't see any other group making the same impact both on the music industry and on the lives of everyday people. They give A.R.M.Ys the world, so they deserve the world.

I really want to say this and give some informations. KPOP COMMUNITY is actually really kind of toxic but it's amazing somehow. KPOP is actually kind of ruled by the 3 BIGGEST COMPANIES (SM, YG, JYP) these company's artist are the only one who like really got popular and all because of course their company got their backs and also they are really good (all kpop groups are awesome). But BTS is really special and one of a kind. They broke all the prejudices. They talked about social issues that normally cannot be talked especially in Korea. They write and produces their songs. They worked hard from the start. They struggled so much. This is why we love BTS so much and ARMYS will do anything to stand for them. Some people may think, we love or going crazy with them because of their looks but no. BTS is our live savers. We can relate to them in every aspects in our life and they made songs with beautiful and moving lyrics to comfort us. They are inspirations and motivators that we will make it if we persevere and work hard. I've been in this fandom for 4 years now. I'm independent since 17, working student, and came from a broken family. I got through so much hardships but having BTS in my own life is like the most wonderful thing happened to me. They gave me so many reasons to keep going, have a dream and especially love myself. So many ARMYs can relate to me. This is why we're so dedicated and want to give everything to them because they deserved it the most in this world. We're giving them back or repaying them by being supportive in everything.

Same here, I'm a 48 year old ARMY and damn proud of it.😉 When I was battling cancer I was spiraling out of control with my depression. Besides my family I turned to BTS for comfort and they did not disappoint. Their lyrics, goofiness (always had me laughing) and most of all their humbleness had me in awe. Because of my cancer I've had over 7 surgeries in less then a year ( just had one a week ago) but I'm happy to say that I'm 1 year and 9 months cancer free now. They are one of a kind. 💜💜

The thing about idols in Korea, they rarely show vulnerability and always have to look perfect. BTS never have to do that. They do vlogs, they will broadcast live and just talk about their struggles, feelings, new discoveries, and what they learn as teenagers and later on, as young adults. They are relatable to some, but because they do not fit in with the industry’s standards (nor does their company - which is doing things their own way), they were (are?) hated by others.
I mean, up to now, they are still being used, attacked, by companies/media/individuals for being who they are, as big as they are. Thats why Armys are passionate and commited to support the boys, however we can. Ppl say everything is about breaking records these days, but its the least we could do for BTS.

The big 3 companies rule South Korea music industry. They basically run the media and have control since they are powerful. Bts were edited out of many broadcast shows. South Korea slept on bts because they were from a small unknown company and were dirt poor. Because of the power of army, now they finally are starting to accept bts. Why they got hate also is because the kpop fandoms from other big kpop groups didn't like bts winning the biggest award (also known as daesangs) instead of their favorite group. That's why they started the petition and hating. Exo'ls (Exo's fandom) and VIP's (Big bang's fandom) accused Bts of plagiarism over ridiculous things like hair colors, clothings, concepts, etc. There was also the break wings project where other kpop fandoms United and trended this hashtag on Twitter.
It was all due to jealousy and because bts (from small company) were overtaking big groups from big companies.
The petition was made because Bts won a daesang artist of the year award aand exo'ls made a petition for bts to give that award back since exo did not win...saying it was rigged and out of charity only. It was such an outrage they send it to blue house (south korean government) with tons of signatures. There was also on twitter they trended number 1 hate hashtag in Korea against bts "plagiarism boys" and hate hashtags. There are many articles and videos on this. Bts made song called 2! 3! to cheer up armys and you know the purple ocean project by armys. Bts were always supported by army and bts supports army. There were also sajaegi accusations. It was pretty bad but now bighit takes legal action against defamers.
Bts fought their way to the top, yet they still have many haters. I'm proud of bts. Bts just has a way of captivating an audience with emotion deep meaning. Vocals, rap, dance, and their storytelling. Thats why they stand out from other groups and are known worldwide. They helped me with my own inner struggles including societal pressures, depression/anxiety with their empowering lyrics.
Topics discussed youth, opression, embrace all moments in life, friendship, hardwork, determination, and stand up for oneself. They even talk about depression. They don't make music/songs for the sake of doing that, every song has a purpose/ meaning behind it. They write/produce their own music. They helped a lot of people overcome many obstacles in life.
They give hope to all the dreamer in the world and not to give up. I look up to them more than idols. They are life goals. Their lyrics are impactful. They go against taboos of South Korea such as mental illness, students having the pressure to get into SKY (top three universities of South Korea) or being study machines, going against societal norms, oppression, against south korean system and gorvernment. That's what makes them stand out personally.Their lyrics have saved many from suicidal thoughts. Bts music and lyrics are relatable. All the music videos are connected with a storyline going on for more than 3 years since they started. They use metaphors, symbolism, from literature, movie references. A whole Bts utopia.

This is so true. BTS came into my life literal days before my grandfather (who was more like my father) went into the hospital. He then passed away 3 weeks later, and that was around the time TEAR came out. Their music helped me so much throughout that time and I will forever be grateful to them for that.

He was the first reason why I tried to support and protect them from nonsense rumor and harsh criticism. BTW, they've never copied other's work. Fortunately, we have 'proof' now. But they got so much ridiculous hate from others back then bc of their looks, names and their poor background..etc. I am going to support them until their last show and even after. If you watch their earlier days' dance pratices you can tell how much time and hard work they put into practice. They might started as a hip hop group but by watching those dance practice videos, they could have been a dance group. 5 of them did not have dance backgrounds and yet you will see how precise and mesmerizing they are. They said average 12+ hours a day practicing. You just can't help but love these adorable dorkys.

I am 54 yrs old and by the time I was 27 I already had 3 kids and have been with my husband for 7 yrs. It was hard. Too bad I did not have BTS back then. I support you and will pray for you.

I feel you. My friend who's a veteran army said BTS came when you needed them the most. My hardest time was in 2017 and that was when i found out about them for the first time. I'm so glad being part of army now.
Honestly I wasn't into kpop but discovered BTS during AMA's in 2017 & I'm so glad I found them. I managed to overcome dark times & bad days thanks to them so I'm so thankful to the boys. It's their sincerity & humbleness that won me over more than anything else. You don't find true artists like them anymore. I grew up really rough too and I've never had parental figures that deserved to be called that. I had a boyfriend for 5 years that became my first "roots." My first "homebase." But we broke up in December and it was harder than ever to have had that and lost it. Luckily, I found BTS end of August and before I knew it, they had become my "roots." It sounds cheesy and god knows it's hard to explain to people who just see BTS as a boyband but it's such a real, almost tangible comfort to me to have them. To have that unconditional love from someone and for someone. I'm stronger today with them than I feel I've ever been able to be. I'll never be able to thank them (and ARMY whose become a family to me) enough. I purple you all!

it makes me so happy whenever I see people react to bts out of a curiosity and then find inspiration and strength from their music, their message, and their brotherhood. there's so much bts content out there from the music itself to live performances, behind the scenes videos, their variety show on vlive, fanmade videos, etc that i worry sometimes that reactors will feel overwhelmed or pressured by all the suggestions, but i'm glad that you have genuinely been enjoying the journey and that you've come to love them for the same reasons we all do. your daughters may be too young to understand the depth of their message behind the music, but it makes me happy to think as they get older they have bts as artists and people to look up to as examples of hard work, passion, humility, family, and self-love, and that they have parents who want to give them the best in life and inspire these things in them as well :)
I love your reactions so much and I can totally relate! I’m 35 years old, married for 10 years as well and we have a 7 year old girl. My husband and I became army in Sept 2018 after being introduced by my 17 year old niece. She put an entire Love Yourself and Wings album on repeat during our 5 hours road trip drive. We fell in love with the music first. Their song ‘Epiphany’ and ‘the Truth Untold’ truly touched me during the time I needed the most. After getting to know the boys, their genuine, humbleness and love for the armys, we were sold!! Not to mention they’re totally funny and adorable... Fast forward 7 months later these boys are our idols! Never thought I would stand a ‘boy group’ at this age.. but they trully change our perspective. From watching TV series together with my husband.. now we’re both watching marathon of BTS’ Run episodes, Bon Voyage, youtube clips, doing MV theories and many more.. life was never this exciting! LOL.. you will not regret getting to know BTS 💜💜💜💜💜
It really rumbs off. I think everyone has their own struggle and it's crazy cause I feel ARMYs all come together through hardships. I'm just so glad you get it. BTS is something that comes once in a life time and I will never forget how much they helped me. It's just family and we are so freakin diverse that it brings so much more into it. I've just started watching you two and I just.. I feel the need to put this here altho you put this video out a month ago.. I got into BTS on March 29th, 2017, I now recognize that to be the most important and life-changing day of my entire life. For 4 or 5 years before that I hated myself a lot, didn't want to acknowledge that I felt different than what everyone was telling me and so I spent all that time just,, trying to not be alive to be blunt. But after getting to know these guys, learning their message and hearing "live your own life, go down your own path, you deserve your own happiness" - I finally began to live. I finally accepted the feelings I had, I came out to my parents that May and ever since then I've just been. breathing. Sure the past 2 years weren't easy, my parents weren't accepting of me in the slightest, but watching BTS videos and listening to their music got me through that time, got me through the moments I started to go back to that horrible mindset of not wanting to try anymore... but I say this all because of well 5:15 here in your video is the UN speech- Namjoon says "No matter where you're from, your skin color, your GENDER IDENTITY-" .. I can never see it without just crying, having namjoon say that one extra word after gender- "gender identity"- means the entire world.. it made me feel supported, like they were also here saying "this is real, you are valid, and you deserve to find your voice and speak" and that just breaks me to pieces. the fact I never accepted myself before them and then him just.. showing his support with that one extra word... I just don't think anything will ever mean more to me in my life than BTS. They've made me live, I wasn't living before, only breathing and just dealing with the things everyone said I had to deal with and do because "that's life"- they allowed me the opportunity to open my eyes and open my mind and learn about things outside of what everyone around me said. I know this is insanely long but I watch these reactions because they make me feel even more proud of them and feel like I'm fanboying along w/ other ARMYs although I'm only watching. Am 23 years now but knowing myself in teenage years if I were in that position to ask people to come in my free concert I would never have had the courage to do that. Am proud of BTS for teaching me not to be ashamed of myself and no matter how bad a situation is there's better to come
My heart reaches out to you guys, you seem like such genuine people. I also got into BTS bc i was going through a rough part in my life. I got to know them right as i was falling into another depressive episode and all through out, they helped me by giving me smthing to look forward to everyday. My constant negative thoughts, my ugly self image, the suicidal tendencies- BTS was my only escape frm them. I looked forward to their content everyday, and at some point it became a way to prevent myself from tipping off to the other side ("i still have to watch this bts run ep tomorrow, i shouldnt") it was such a small thing but when everything is falling apart around you, you hold onto what makes you happy like a lifeline. During my stressful finals, I looked forward to BTS' content releasing, which helped me cope with the stress and the pressure bc I knew that there's smthng good waiting for me at the end of the week. Recently, I've been doing pretty well. i've had less suicidal thoughts for the last two months. I stopped excluding myself from the audience receiving BTS' lyrics and it helped boost my self image a lot. I wish you and your family the best, your kids are lucky to have such caring, open minded parents like you! I aim to be like namjoon when i grow up. I sure do hope so I do.

I don’t think you guys understand how much hate bts has gotten and still get from the whole kpop community. Many of us don’t look at bts as a kpop group but rather a “South Korean group” out of many reasons. I became an army In 2017 and the hate I’ve seen against bts is insanely much. Kpop Stans hate them because they’re successful, and when I say HATE them, I really mean it. It has always been like this for bts and army, which is why it’s so amazing to see bts rise to such high heights today. Their artistry and music is beyond anything and we’re so happy that we get to share it with the rest of the world today in a much bigger scale. Bts begun from scratch and truly soared to be the biggest group in the world rn. Beyond proud of them.
i feel you on the struggling to love yourself and feeling like BTS is speaking to me directly. they have a way of speaking to so many peoples pain and telling us its ok, soothing us and helping us build ourselves up. theyre more than just music, visuals and industry, they are leaders setting an example of self love and kindness. mentors in fighting through suffering and speaking yourself despite what others have to say. when i need that little bit of support, their words are there to remind me of what's important.

Sometimes it's hard for me nor to lash out when people talk bad about them but their motto iskill them with kindness. I've been an ARMY since 2014 I feel like their my kids. Thanks for loving them as much as do. To this day they are still the same humble kids that started out 6years ago and they do so much for their home towns and have been the besr ambassadors that Korea has ever had. Thanks for your love and support in loving them.
Lol if someone said there was a free BTS concert now, you'd bet there will be blood spilled 😂 I know those people that they talked to on the streets to ask them to go to their concerts are looking back and thinking "Wow the most popular boy band in the world once asked me to go to their concert for free."
what's great about stanning BTS is u feel u belong to smth bigger, like u said a huge family that really cares about each other, i never felt it's important to have a relashionship with the fandom when u'r a fan of an artist not untill i knew BTS and ARMY , it's really awsome
There are many of us ARMYs have a similar or different but as difficult stories as yours..BTS brought us out of the dark into the light to share our stories and struggles..so we found each other and the ARMYs were formed..we share..laugh..cry..suggest and support each other from around the world..in Army..there is no separations by age..race.religion..cultures..social status.gender identity even language barriers..I have met so many ARMYs that I communicate with that I have never met but are closer than any family member because they know my struggles and they are always there no matter what time ..day or night..it is so amazing..ARMYs don’t judge we help..the,love from BTS members are felt through everything the say and do..they live what they know about us and give us hope that we too can also live and love ourselves more..and it’s alright to be depressed sometimes..not to know what the future holds..just live one day at a time and make it the best day..we have to stop letting other people’s misfortunes become ours..other people dreams become ours..our past distract us from our futures..it’s hard as hell..but better than living in hell all our lives..because of BTS and ARMYs..I now understand..before I never thought I could find a small amount of happiness in every day.but happiness in any amount is still happiness..if you guys need to talk about anything..speak it on your channel and ARMYs will respond to you immediately..I know this for sure...BTS are sent by the universe to heal and protect all of world and teach love and acceptance of one another..the world really need this right NOW..sending y’all love and I am newly subscribed #BTS Ahjumma Army #BTS Army over 60#CANCER Survivor 😊👵🏽👍🏽💜🇺🇸

Love your comments. I actually got into BTS because of my teenage daughter. What you said was so true, I also wanted to know what my daughter was so obsessed about and now I'm obsessed with BTS too. Each BTS member are truly inspirational. Will be attending BTS World Tour concert in May with my daughter and I can't wait. That's our "Mother & Daughter" weekend. BTW, you have a beautiful family. Actually I am new ARMY in 2018 ..I know about them from my friends...and I start to find their music..Their music always comfort me..and I tried to studdy about them and I watched Nobodies to Legends..it's make me cry...That's what many people love BTS so much ...it is because their passion and love in music also in life💕

Here's another inspirational fact for you: BTS's music has literally saved lives. There are people who've contemplated/attempted suicide but then changed their minds after listening to them. Yes, they're much more than just a K-Pop group. K-Pop has been around since the 90s, but you don't see any other group making the same impact both on the music industry and on the lives of everyday people. They give A.R.M.Ys the world, so they deserve the world.
