- I had the privilege to travel to Salsomaggiore Terme in Italy to visit the amazing Meo Fusciuni. What I thought would be a quick interview turned out to be a deep meditation on perfume, love, life and how everything is connected to smelling...."tutto inizia del sentire"

I bought « Little song » from Meo some years ago during a trip in San Gimignano. It’s still to this date one of the most unique emotional fragrance I have in my little collection. I’m still thinking about « Narcotico » too… Overall a great memory, a scent forever linked with a beautiful life experience. Poetic indeed.
Firstly I need to address how amazing is San Gimignano! What an incredible town and what an awesome experience for you to have purchased a fragrance here and Little Song is the perfect choice🥰; everytime you spray this perfume I'm sure that it takes you back to this place

I have 3 from Meo and love all three! Planning to get more indeed. After smelling Varanasi from a sample I will be more cautious with blind buying, but I think Little Song will be my next one! :)

Yes Meo’s fragrances need to be experienced. These are olfactory journeys, not just perfumes.
I would recommend to you Odor 93, Luce, Spirito and L’Oblio….all of these are amazing (in my opinion😇) Great to hear from you Adz

Varanasi 😍😍😍 I put few sprays on me and went to take a shower in 20 minutes. It smelled great after that on me 🔥 🎶 But can not buy a fool bottle of it 🤷♂️
Varansi is a powerhouse! This is not one that I have in my collection…as yet

Love this video / interview! Giuseppe seems like a really sweet person and a true artist, his atelier looks really good with your composition. I like the idea you mentioned in another video of using a fragrance to remind yourself of a place or time when you go travelling. I plan to go to Switzerland this month and there is a Perfume shop in Zürich that also sells Meo Fusciuni, so maybe one of his perfumes will be my Switzerland fragrance. Keep up the amazing videos, I am new to Niche perfume and am bingewatching your videos haha. I also look forward to your video of going more in depth into your Meo Fusciuni collection. 😊

As a recommendation and knowing of the location that you will be traveling too, I would suggest you test out either Spirito and L'Oblio....(if I was traveling to Switzerland I would choose one of these 2 because of the woods in the fragrance, will go nicely with the location)

Dang it! Wanted Meo to hive us his meaning of Odor 93. This is my only bottle from his collection. It's such a unique powerhouse and honestly I'm not sure how to wear it. Makes sense? Please help me out. Excellent work Marcello.
Actually, off camera Meo and I were talking about Odor 93 and he mentioned that this fragrance is a tribute to David Tibet who has a band called Current 93....this was Meo's ode to David (who he thinks is extraordinary as a musician).
I'm going to do a review on this fragrance and I'll share my thoughts on the fragrance, but off the cuff this is a tuberose fragrance that I can comfortably wear (nuanced with other facets but still with a wonderful and distinct tuberose note).
Normally tuberose I associate to my wife (she LOVES this note in perfume) so anything remotely tuberose, I instantly attribute to 'feminine leaning'....but not Odor 93

100% Julio; Meo puts his heart and soul into each creation. I love that with each fragrance, he in fact is sharing a piece of himself; his memories and experience....it was awesome to connect with him during this episode and learn this directly from him.

I love that a big part of creation for Meo in creating is him stepping aside and meditating which allows his creative thoughts to take shape and form his perfumes.

Varanasi is a powerhouse🤯 This is one that is not in my collection (yet)....curious to know your thoughts on it David
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector My nose is not prepared for Varanasi. The opening is "easier" and very sophisticated, but the base notes are not for me right now. A very complex scent that has many stages of evolution and definitely an olfactory experience to be had. Meo Fuscioni's other fragrances to me on are much easier, I have tried Notturno, Luce and Oblio and I find them very nice, pleasant for any nose and taste.
