I bought one also.. my first chrome book.. yes it's nice for basic for web.. I like it.. and the apps I need yes it works great. Also put the Microsoft on it.. for work and excel yes it's great for on the go for travel and web surfing... live chat was not bad at all. I still use my Ipad for some things needed BUT the chrome book is nice to travel with. The battery is awesome bro...
I am spiritually IN LOVE with my 14" HP Chromebook , Had it for 1 going on 2 years now , no probs soo far ( Recommended ) only paid 149.99 at walmart ( NOT including the extended protection plan )...
If you can afford something better, try something with more storage and RAM. This will only get you through a year or two before it most likely gives out.

I have, and am on the VERY SAME ONE this instant.. I got mine at Best Buy 'out of box' for $179 out the door. But until I saw this video did not know mine should have but didn't come with, a mouse or sleeve. Other than this Joelster is spot on.. If you need a Chromebook, and can get this one for $200 or less, do it ! I'm happy with mine what must be over a year now... Nothing has gone wrong yet, and HP warrantee repair is in India but they pre-pay shipping by mailing you a label to stick onto shipping box.. Only reason I know this is I almost sent mine in due to not able to get online at a Coffee Bean store near me [something about needing an updated internal antenna]..But I decided to skip it...Maybe when indoor seating returns it'll work there now..If not, a local repair can fix it. One nice thing is the hinge. They make them so the long middle area IS the hinge, not the 2 outer edges. This makes it last long in the opening/closing of the device..It has remained smooth and firm; no intrusion to picture when you adjust lid, which goes a tad short of full 180 deg, flat on table (go figure !) Hey ! It's $200 !! .....M

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I have a HP Chromebook 14, which I bought online from Walmart. It's OK for VERY BASIC computing needs(surfing the Internet, checking & sending e-mail, interacting on social media). But it can't do any COMPLEX stuff(utilize external storage devices, gaming, photoshop). So, before anyone buys a new laptop, I would ADVISE considering exactly what you'll be using your laptop for. Chromebooks can ONLY do VERY BASIC stuff. Laptops with Windows OS can do MORE stuff. That's why I'm planning to buy myself another Windows OS laptop. I'll KEEP this Chromebook as a SECONDARY laptop but I need a MORE VERSATILE laptop.

I picked mine up 1 week ago for $32. And it is awesome! I'm used to the macbook. The trackpad kind of sucks but you get used to it. Everything else is good.
I got one for like 50 bucks, it has Hdmi, sd card slot, usb a, and it does everything i need it to and more even in 2022. I use Google Docs all the time, and I print documents, so i put a 256gb sd card in it to save and print stuff wirelessly.

I think you linked the wrong computer in the video description bro. The one in your link is for an AMD version and the one you showed in the video has an Intel processor. I believe you are holding a 2020 version and the one in the link is a 2019 version. It gets confusing with Chromebook model numbers, especially for HP models, but simply searching for HP Chromebook 14 is not enough information to find the exact model.

I just got one from Costco yesterday. Worked for a few minutes and then it froze. So I pressed the start bottom to shut off and it never turned back on! I even tried to charge it but nothing. Any ideias?! I guess I will have to return it.

Honestly, HP has so many Chromebooks that I fall for all of these. But the 11A G9 Chromebook is my favorite with its Mediatek chipset.

The original came out in 2015 but it has been updated, I was able to use all the apps I have in my phone, my daughter has it now and she loves it.

Hey I just got one of these for school and it’s brand new it won’t turn on or charge the light doesn’t turn on nor the screen do you know anything??
Could be a dodgy battery. Should get it looked at or return it for another one.
Has anyone noticed the bottom heating up? Is this normal? I exchanged this chromebook for the same one and it was still hot.

Great video. I like the HP Chromebook I bought from Walmart. Strange thing though. I can't use the ! point when logging in to a password in a different account. Works every else, !!!!!! Just not when trying to log in somewhere where I have ! in the password. Thanks
Just bought this laptop but for some reason I cannot get google play on mine. Any suggestions? I can't really seem to do any of the things I was hoping on it and kind of feel I may have wasted my money

I just bought 3 of these but none had a mouse or case ?? Do you know why?
I just got one from Costco yesterday. Worked for a few minutes and then it froze. So I pressed the start bottom to shut off and it never turned back on! I even tried to charge it but nothing. Any ideias?! I guess I will have to return it.
That's weird, I didn't have any issues with it and still working properly.

Would this be good for a college student myself is thinking to get this laptop from Walmart or Best Buy i don’t want an expensive one since ill be doing online school few days a week but I’m not too convinced about it should i get it?
My daughter used it while home school and she loved it until it got stolen, its a good laptop for school, zoom meetings, youtube and google related programs.
