At this point I’d almost love to just see what they would do with every team in the league. As a packers fan I’d love to hear their ideas on a young team in a most likely longer than normal win-now window
Same, I’m sad the Steelers will probably never be bad enough to warrant one of these. Maybe some sort of series of how contenders can get over the hump and win it all?
From a titans fan I absolutely loved this episode. Was waiting for this from you guys for so long. Ik it’s old news that not a lot of, if not any people talk about titans, but I loved this coverage from you guys.
first one I watched of these after seeing them on my suggested. Will definitely be watching the rest and subscribing. For it being a long format video, you guys kept it very concise and interesting throughout. Good stuff!
Not to be overlooked with Jon Robinson is he also was pretty bad in FA towards the end too, giving sizeable contracts to guys like Bud Dupree and Vic Beasley. A lot of titans fans were (and still are) mixed on Vrabel. He’s clearly a pretty good coach with some great skills, but he constantly refused to evolve his gameplan at times (and was overly attached to a bad OC in Todd downing), was reportedly very micromanaging (to the point he essentially fired Dean Pees before the titans-Chiefs AFC championship game {Vrabel took over playcalling on defense for that game, and the next season before giving the reigns to Shane Bowen after that}) and the team was on a downward trend with no turnaround in sight. I’m not sure it was the right move, but I’m not against the decision and it’s probably what I would’ve done in the same spot. The biggest thing with Callahan so far is it feels like there hasn’t been any signs to have belief he’s gonna turn it around at some point. The offense has been bad to down right abysmal at points, both because of awful QB play and a turnstile at RT, the defense has been awful in the redzone and they have almost no pass rush (DBs have been good shoutout to the Dennard Wilson effect), and special teams has been historically bad outside of 40 year old Nick Folk. I hope Callahan figures it out and can be a great coach, but as of right now I’m not feeling great about it. I would’ve thrown Jarvis Brownlee Jr and Roger McCreary in with the keys on defense, they’ve both been awesome so far and clear standouts on defense. Not sure i feel the same about Harold Landry Definitely prefer the first mock, but I like both. Would lean Luther Burden III over the tackle but i get just getting the tackle and trying to make the WR room work.
Agree with most of what you said. In this draft though, IMO it has to be tackle or QB in the first round. The depth at those positions this year is bad and they're vital for having a good offence. Like you said, they're the main two issues this year, should be the priority.
I think they need to look at free agency for a RT and either a free agent QB or give Levis one more year. Give them a chance to really build the team and if Levis still sucks then there are some great quarterbacks in the 2026 Draft.
“Doesn’t feel like a lot of middle of the pack teams” (Feels like my chargers are middle of the pack) “Even the broncos and chargers are right there in the middle” (Takes offense hearing it from someone besides me) 😂lol
Dennard Wilson has a higher chance of being promoted than fired. Tbh. Also Henry part of it was wanting to do right by him and give him a chance to win
Last part def makes sense. And good to know about Wilson. I really haven’t heard anything negative. Just wonder if there’s going to be a scapegoat somewhere on staff (not that that makes it right)
i really appreciate the research yall did especially in the how we got here section. There is so many things that lead to the jrob/vrabel firings and i think you covered all that nuance super well so thank you for putting the work in to present the situation as accurately as you possibly could.
titans fan here don’t want greenlaw not that he’s a bad player but we already did the niners lb with azeez al shair and immediately shipped him out after a season
Far and away the best analysis I’ve heard from non-Nashville folks. Best deep dive I’ve seen done by anyone outside of myself and my friends group. Big props. Literally hit on everything I’ve been complaining about since the night they drafted Wilson - which nearly got me booted from the group 😂
Would love to see a niners retooling after this rough season. Lots of big contracts up after this year so I’m interested to see what direction you guys would go.
First thing, trade Purdy to anyone willing to give the 30 million player 60 million. Second, this Bears fan thinks they should realize Kyle Shanahan stinks and they should trade him to the Bears for a 7th round pick swap and definitely not a first and a second.
You guys were spot on with everything you’ve said about how the relationship with ownerships and Vrabel and Jon Robinson ended. JRob missed out on a lot of 1st round picks and him trading AJ Brown away was the downfall of this team.
Correct 💯 And Vrabel gets a lot of credit... For Riding Henry's coat tail.... IMO ... And now that we are away from all of that, we are starting over.... And it's been rough.... But we have bright spots... I think Ran has drafted well? It takes like 3 yrs for a GM to actually make his mark... There are still a lot of JRob leftovers still on the team....this will be Ran's 3rd draft/FA ... And it will be Ran's team after that!? And I'm excited to see it! I hope he is aggressive in the draft... After taking OT two yrs. Running... I'm expecting a playmaker!!! WR (TMAC) RB (Jeanty) Edge (JPJ) Those are the only picks I can imagine him making???? We may trade it!!? I want to pick .. And then try and get back in the 1st Rd... double dip .. Take TMac ...#6(?) Then trade up to like #22up and take Jeanty if still there .. Fix RT and Edge in FA... That's what I would do
I watch you guys all the time, great show! I would be interested in seeing a show breakdown a 5 year window of high floor vs high ceiling picks and how they have turned out in the nfl. it seems like there are always high ceiling misses but i dont always hear about the high floor picks and if they pan out the way they should
RE: McCarthy trade idea, It's also worth noting that Ran and Kwesi have a great relationship from their time in San Francisco. Additionally, Callahan coached Tee Higgins for 5 years in Cincinnati, and Tee grew up an hour outside of Nashville. I'm sure you don't want to use Tee for every WR needy team, but he makes perfect sense in Tennessee. Trey Smith also played his college ball just an hour away from Nashville, and he grew up in Humboldt. They probably don't want to blow money on big names again, but I think there's a good chance 1 of those 2 free agents ends up in Tennessee if they hit the market.
Carthon feels like a guy who might end up riding the Tom Telesco line of "good enough to keep his job, bad enough to keep a mid roster mid" for a while
I know it’s coming every time but the Mike McCarthy line pops me everytime, especially as a Cowboys fan who’s made that same comment as Connor a dozen times.
Newly formed addict here! Can’t wait to see FYF for my Panthers! With Bryce playing better I’m interested in how yall would attack this offseason. We need help everywhere! Get Bryce a weapon in the first? Target defense defense defense?
I'm surprised it's been this long! I'd imagine BPA. Offensive weapons for Bryce & playmakers on defense. Probably WR, D-Line, Corner. Idk though. Bears fan
@ they mentioned they were waiting to see what Bryce’s play looked like before they did the FYF. Yeah you pretty much summed it up need weapons for Bryce and help at every level on the def.
33:30 Ran is VP, Ran’s assistant manager Brinker got promoted to President..no idea what their structure is Lucky for us, Ran knew the falcons were going to take Penix lul. Feels a lot more like a Madden gm than a well planned out type.
Great show. I would lose my mind if we traded multiple years of picks for Mccarthy. If we’re going to do it, just rip the bandaid off this one year. This team needs so much more help than a qb. Felt a lot better w the 2nd mock
Denard is good, but he isnt one of these HC/dc candidates. He’s young, more than capable of improving, but he has his pretty glaring flaws. Locals seem to think he’s this elite DC
The way I look at it for our free agent signings last year and maybe overpaying them is because we had so much money and no one to pay so they could afford to overpay some people and throw some shots with Ridley and Sneed
Vrable always strikes me as the budget version of Belichick, he just did a speed run of the BB arc without the Superbowls... good discipline coach, good on-field coach, ran out of coordinators on offense, fought with the owner about personnel control....
Coming back after an idea, so figured I’d post it here in case it comes true: I won’t be shocked if Tennessee takes a look and says Sam isn’t signing here. We are out of range of qb1&2, and then signs Rodger’s and davantae as a package deal for 1 year. They have the cap. And could restructure if need be to add more players like a jedrick wills from the browns. Solidifying tackle. Could be an interesting off season for the titans. If this happens Abdul carter or Mason graham would be nice!
Hey fellas, really love this concept and what you’re doing. If you need anyone to help gather some data or facts for you to look through with this I’d love to help out in any way you need. Thanks.
Ridley's the type of receiver that needs the QB to be accurate to be successful. His catch radius isn't as big as some other WR's. Levis is the type of QB that throws a catchable ball but isn't really accurate and benefits from a WR with a larger catch radius, like Hopkins.
Simmons was injured when he was drafted and we got him way lower than his actual value because of that. That went to Robertson's head and he thought he was some kind of genius for doing that, every year after he took massive gambles on players with injury or personality issues, trying to repeat his luck.
Trevor, please tell Mike McCarthy to make it so that you can do up to all 32 teams for the first round and then switch to just one team after that on the simulator. I hate doing a mock and seeing the Raiders take Tet and then the Panthers pass on an ED/WR for a safety.
I dont really get moving on from levis for allar but maybe im just a delusional titans fan. Also would love either of the isu receivers for this team. Could use a big slot in higgens or pr in noel
Really confused on how it’s not fair to judge Brian Callahan because of Levis, but it’s fair to judge Will Levis even though he hasn’t had a competent o-line since being in the league
Here’s an idea for your next fix your show…how about the 49ers? Technically not a “bad team” but you can’t help but find some needs on defense and the o line, roster is weirdly aging and overall what’s your evaluation on Brock purdy and how much would you pay him?
Most important things to fix for 2025: 1. 2nd OT. Maybe move Latham to RT. 2. Special teams 3. X receiver the one that lines up on the line of scrimage 4. Sign an average free agent RG for a fair amount of money. Unless Darnold is available the QBs in the draft are no better than Levis.
We’ve got plenty of tight ends on the roster - David Martin Robinson looked great in the preseason and he hasn’t even got on the field this year… what we need more than anything is an edge rusher… And then right tackle… And then a wide receiver… And then I’m hoping by some strange twist of fate we get Aaron Rodgers for a season or two… He’s for sure the best quarterback available with the most upside, just depends on how much gas he has left in the tank.
Feel like I had to mention this as a Chiefs fan regarding Sneed. His knee issues the last two training camps in KC were a big deal. He hardly stacked practices together and I love him as a player. But if Tennessee wasn’t aware of those issues, that’s a huge problem for Carthon.
This might sound kinda nuts, but would you guys consider doing this for non-bottom feeders too? My Niners are at a very weird and interesting inflection point and I think it would be interesting to see with other teams that are kinda in the middle like Atlanta or Arizona.
My Goodness you Niners fans are so spoiled it’s incredibly embarrassing. Your team has made the Super Bowl 2 times in the past 5 years, they borrowed from Peter to pay Paul and now they’re paying for it. There’s really nothing more to say.
This is good context! I haven’t heard anything negative, just wondered if there is going to be a fall guy on the staff. If he’s been great I hope it’s not him
Hi guys ! Could you do one on my Cardinals ? Looks like we're gonna need it after starting strong but... You know, some people do not have the right to happiness 😂
I really want to believe in Levi’s, because that makes the rest of it so much easier if he’s the guy obviously. But I think y’all convinced me, the gameplan from Sunday said it all. Do you guys think Allar is that different of a prospect from Levis?
if nussmeier enters and he's there when they pick i imagine they'd take him, but if they don't go QB and they acquire a passer via any other method. its worth adding they're the type of team to take Cameron Williams wherever they pick, even in off the board scenarios just because, they're clearly the team that can afford to take a more raw project with Bill Callahan at the helm, he relishes developing these freaky trait dudes, like that and if they can wait one more year for QB they're in peak position to build around him.
I was super high on Williams in the beginning of the year when Texas was rolling, but I think he'd honestly benefit from going back to school. Speed really causes him problems, and he gets a ton of penalties. Might want to opt for his teammate (Banks) or that OT from Minnesota, who's a freak.
@@zackhurwitz9441 here's the thing i get what ur saying and every other scenario besides like philly i agree with you, but with bill callahan. like. i mean i can't remember the last like actually especially talented person Bill Callahan's outright failed at making a effective starter, and with all Cams issues like do you see the length and him moving? like for me like if you project out and you say every guy met their peak, he's better than banks and Campbell. He's the dude thats like, if he hits he might be the best player in the class.
Titan's Fan, it's been a rough year to watch. In the first part of the season, Cally was given some leeway. It's hard to call a game when your QB gives the ball away at a mind exploding rate. We can't even get a break during commercials because they are always showing the Mayo commercial on Sundays. If the Refs would let us use a blocking dummy at RT we could let NPF go now. DC Wilson is the brightest spot on this coaching staff. Our 2 big free-agency CB signings have been a letdown this season, mostly due to health. I don't have high hopes for any QB we bring in until the right side of the line is fixed. Even Cally said he's never position problem this bad at RT.
The Jj bit is so ridiculous it’s funny.I think the most likely option is they just run it back with Levis.Free agency isn’t great, and the QBs in this draft kind of suck to.Plus not really in a position to get one.Just continue building the roster.
Jeff got his 2nd contract through the new GM Ran. J. Rob was already gone and was saying he didn't know if he could pay Jeff. So J. Rob signed nobody but Henry & Landry.
Listening to KOC talk about McCarthy, there's no way we trade him. This year became the "Get Sam paid year" and he's going to be. While the Vikings have cap space, the rest of the roster needs more upkeep that makes the contract Darnold's getting unaffordable
I think the titans should stick with will levis one more year. use this year to draft the tackle, wr, edge, te, and or LB positions. Next years qb class looks way more promising than this years.
I think the FA + Trading for JJ is good, but picking a TE is round 1 instead of Tackle is trolling a lot. Should go any good Tackle and Edge with those 1st 2 picks. You can find big fast guys who can catch in the middle of round 4.
They literally took a tackle in their first scenario of their mock draft with the second pick. They didn’t think anyone was worth it when they traded down in their JJ scenario for the first round. This draft is really bad for true first round tackles. Take the best guy on the board if there’s no one there in the first round if they trade down then you get the best guy.
Why would they get rid of their DC when he's kept his side of the ball competitive in most games with no marquee pass rusher and working without their starting corners for a large chunk of the season?
I think they should trade a mid round (4th in 2025 and 4th in 2026, 3rd if Minshew starts) pick(s) for Minshew and let Levis compete with him. Use early picks to fill holes, this team can be good in 2025!
Hey.levis has trended upwards the last month.how can you say the gameplan was not trusting of levis. He literally diced up and beat the texans 2 weeks before. Levis is gonna be the qb next year. And Callahan has said it over and over, levis was what made this job so intriguing. Not saying levis is the guy but he's improving. Snd that's all we can ask week to week.
I think it would be absolutely hair-brained to trade away McCarthy just because Darnold is playing well. (Then again, Chase Daniel got them to a NFC Championship in 2017, but was that repeatable?)
That wasn’t Chase Daniel that was Case Keemum. But yeah in all likelihood this is a one year wonder year for Darnold in Minnesota. I don’t think he goes back to being a backup but barring some really superb great finish to this season where the play his past few weeks only gets stronger he probably becomes a good FA QB like a Baker last year.
As a titans fan, just wanna say thanks for covering this team that most of the media overlooks.

Oh, and Trevor, the Mock Draft Simulator needs to force QBs to the top teams. That's gonna be what happens.
Feel like I had to mention this as a Chiefs fan regarding Sneed.
His knee issues the last two training camps in KC were a big deal. He hardly stacked practices together and I love him as a player. But if Tennessee wasn’t aware of those issues, that’s a huge problem for Carthon.
The Titans were very aware, the reason why only a 3rd round pick was needed. If the team was contending for the playoffs, Sneed would not be on IR...
46:47 Ridley has been a low end WR1 solid player for our situation
Real life is not fantasy

Broncos would be great despite how well they are playing. Would love to see what you guys would do to improve that roster.
Anyway to limit fix your franchise to once a week? Would love to get back to some prospect discussion.
You are getting your wish starting this week!
@ 🙏🙏🙏
This might sound kinda nuts, but would you guys consider doing this for non-bottom feeders too? My Niners are at a very weird and interesting inflection point and I think it would be interesting to see with other teams that are kinda in the middle like Atlanta or Arizona.
With the niners at some point you need more than just an efficient QB. Besides just scraping by with OL.
My Goodness you Niners fans are so spoiled it’s incredibly embarrassing. Your team has made the Super Bowl 2 times in the past 5 years, they borrowed from Peter to pay Paul and now they’re paying for it. There’s really nothing more to say.
3rd vid asking for my brownies 🙏
41:07 Dennard is the best coach on the team
Amen
This is good context! I haven’t heard anything negative, just wondered if there is going to be a fall guy on the staff. If he’s been great I hope it’s not him
And his defense is still beyond overrated. Terrible in the redzone.
@babobenson5203 Yes, but just a couple pieces from being to tear. The defense has given the offense chance after chance to win.
If they made that pick swap and took Warren at 26, they should be moving back in round 2 to recoup and add picks.
Titans are going to roll with Levis and a new veteran backup / competition one more year and draft a qb in the 2026 draft.
Ice Tre 🥶
Why did Jonah Savinaea fall so much on the big board? I thought you guys had him as a first rounder.
I honestly think its Levis for one more year and then go all in for a QB next year.
The Jj bit is so ridiculous it’s funny.I think the most likely option is they just run it back with Levis.Free agency isn’t great, and the QBs in this draft kind of suck to.Plus not really in a position to get one.Just continue building the roster.
i think if they take QB it’ll be traded down in first. also what about a puRe RT instead of a LT
The Lions, Packers, and Vikings and 28-3 against the rest of the NFL. I guess all the good teams are in the NFC North
Chicago would probably look a lot better if they existed in another division. The worst team in the North could likely take the S & W.😆
Jeff got his 2nd contract through the new GM Ran. J. Rob was already gone and was saying he didn't know if he could pay Jeff. So J. Rob signed nobody but Henry & Landry.
YES FINALLY 😂
Why every mock draft does computer draft Ashton jeanty for carolina

@@TampaBayTreBryce can't be a bust if he never throws the ball
Jk
I lost it with frozen Trevor 💀
😂😂😂
Im still newer to watching football. Can anyone explain how Jacksonville picks higher than the titans even tho they beat them? Id appreciate it
Listening to KOC talk about McCarthy, there's no way we trade him.
Might take a flyer on Jedrick Wills 52:36
Has to be cheap, he's horrible to have on your team and his biggest problem is his personality, he's talented though
A third one??? Oh wait, it’s Monday. When are we getting out next non FYF? Love the content regardless of what it is. Is there a way to gift PFF sub?
Updated WR ranking episode coming out Thursday!
@@TampaBayTre Wooo!!!!
@@TampaBayTre I can't wait for you guys to talk about Cam Skattebo! Idk if he was on a stalk watch but has been blowing me away
@@TampaBayTreTez Johnson first overall pick incoming🤫
I think the FA + Trading for JJ is good, but picking a TE is round 1 instead of Tackle is trolling a lot. Should go any good Tackle and Edge with those 1st 2 picks. You can find big fast guys who can catch in the middle of round 4.
They literally took a tackle in their first scenario of their mock draft with the second pick. They didn’t think anyone was worth it when they traded down in their JJ scenario for the first round. This draft is really bad for true first round tackles. Take the best guy on the board if there’s no one there in the first round if they trade down then you get the best guy.
Day 1 of asking for a Browns FYF please 🙏🏼
Vrabel took over a playoff team he's not god, Mccreary is not rotational, Cedric Gray was injured up until like 2 games ago
Surprised you didn’t bring up how many injuries the Titans had under Mike vrabel
Can we get the panthers rebuild please 🙏🏾!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
was hoping they were next
I love you guys
13:56 just look at Jrobs last 3 years of draft picks
I think it would be absolutely hair-brained to trade away McCarthy just because Darnold is playing well. (Then again, Chase Daniel got them to a NFC Championship in 2017, but was that repeatable?)
That wasn’t Chase Daniel that was Case Keemum. But yeah in all likelihood this is a one year wonder year for Darnold in Minnesota. I don’t think he goes back to being a backup but barring some really superb great finish to this season where the play his past few weeks only gets stronger he probably becomes a good FA QB like a Baker last year.
