@jackpabich763 Browns cap and draft picks is not nearly as bad as you think now. AB has to put in some work this offseason but they have room/ability to do it and get a new rookie QB and tell Watson to not show up to work for work next/extend his Achilles recovery and cut him after 2025 season
Boise State fan here, Dirk actually retired from coaching and was living locally in Boise. After our OC randomly left in February, Boise was kind of in panic mode getting ready for spring camps. Dirk Koetter came out of retirement on a 1 year deal to run the offense and *save* Boise State, but he’s made it super clear he’s done w/ coaching afterwards, and BSU will need to find a full time guy to take over

I liked the additions/suggestions. One person I don’t think you mentioned being re-signed is Malcom Koonce. He went out before season even started with ACL injury which is why Chaisson was signed. Team needs depth at iDL however as outside of Wilkins top end talent is missing (Butler (69) has been doing well this year). I really liked the Higgins for WR1. If team drafts Ward, might also go after Restrepo if available later on. Been waiting for this one for a long time. Painful to watch at the beginning, but very well done. Appreciate it!
I did a 7 round mock where I traded Maxx Crosby for the raiders. The trade for Crosby was like this: DET: Maxx Crosby LV: 2025 1st, 2025 4th, 2026 1st Results: 1.08: Will Johnson, CB Michigan (4 QB's went before me picks 2,3,4,5 so QB here wasnt an option nor was trading up) 1.31 (via DET): Isaiah Bond, WR Texas 2.39: Drew Allar, QB Penn State (Nussmeier was also available, but I actually prefer Allar based on what i've seen this year) 3.70: Omarion Hampton, RB North Carolina 3.72 (via NYJ): Wyatt Milum, OT West Virginia (Thought the value was too good and I'm not sold on what the raiders have at RT currently) 4.106: Josaiah Stewart, ED Michigan 4.132 (via DET): Xavier Restrepo, WR Miami FL 5.147: Andrew Mukuba, S Texas 6.184: Mike Green, ED Marshall 6.212 (comp): Will Lee III, CB Texas A&M 6.214 (comp): Jalen Catalon, S UNLV 7.223: Bhayshul Tuten, RB Virginia Tech
Hello, how are you? I am a regular viewer of your TH-cam channel. I came here to say that- "I always learn something new from your channel-so valuable!" Good Luck to You
Connor made a great point with the playmaking safety bit. Jevon Holland could be a good fit with the age and the fact that he went to HS in the Oakland
I loved this podcast. I was excited today because I already listen to this podcast, especially when you guys are ranking or talking about the college quarterbacks. I opened up the podcast and saw that you guys were gonna talk about my favorite team for an hour and a half and was like oh this is fucking perfect because u guys are gonna be looking at the draft through the same glasses that I do! I’m really huge on the draft and this off-seasons draft might’ve been the most devastating thing that has happened to me as a raider fan because I spent all year selling myself on all those QBs cuz I knew we were gonna get one and to come away empty handed I was so fucking pissed! Was that said I have a few issues with your guises plan : first one nobody mentioned Bobby Slowick, the Texans o coordinator, as one of the possible offensive minded head coaches for a young QB. Sanders seems like a similar prospect to CJ Stroud as far as being a rhythm pocket passer and if we could pair those two I feel like that would work out. One theory I have about Ben Jhonson is that whatever team he chooses might trade for the lions backup QB Hendon Hooker. I really liked him out of Tennessee. I thought that he was gonna win Heisman and compete for a championship and be a top 10 pick, especially after I watched him beat Alabama but after he hurt his knee and the lions took him in a second round he kind of fell off of the map, but Ben Johnson thinks that Hooker is just as talented as reason guys on the board this year, maybe if she goes to the Raiders part of the deal would be that they give up a second and the Devante pick to Detroit and then when he starts for the Raiders, he would already know the system. Just a thought. Another opinion I had that kind of doesn’t have anything to do with her raiders should have at least a better quarterback this off-season after they whiff on the draft and I am specifically talking about Joe Flacco. He was the best available. I don’t understand nobody took him more seriously after what he did with the Browns he could help a lot of teams right now in the NFL who have no quarterback. He played three games with the Colts and he’s averaging 300 passing yards the game and has seven touchdowns and one interception meanwhile they’re trying to make it work with Anthony Richardson lol. Flacco is a free agent again after this season and I’d love for the Raiders to pick him up even if we draft a QB I think Flacko would not only be able to win some games for us temporarily and at least be competitive if whatever quarterback we have gets hurt or doesn’t play like he’s ready and he’d also be a great mentor to a young QB since he’s like 40 years old and has won a Super Bowl.. As far as the tre Harris pick I have no problem with it but as far as it being realistic, I don’t think Harris will be available by then because a lot of other moms out and draft site/expert people have rising up the receiver rankings into the second or first round. The biggest problem I have, though was the Higgins signing that you guys seem to be so randomly have set in stone and the fact that you didn’t mention that we need cornerbacks badly. I would much rather not spend a fortune on a receiver like he Higgins who is always hurt and I have never seen produce without being accross from Jamar Chase or catching passes from an elite quarterback. I’d much rather look to the draft for a WR and add one of the top cornerbacks like a Chardavious Ward or DJ Reed or stealing Asante Samuels from the chargers would be nice. I think you guys were spot on with the running back plan signing a veteran and then drafting a mid round back I do you guys kind of talk yourself into getting to fire pierce in order to obtain an office mind kind of the conclusion most of us raider fans have talked ourselves into already. totally agree with you guys when you mentioned that we were hit with both combination of shitty luck and terrible drafting. I think that the draft blunders has been kind of a thing my whole life I am 23 and I still remember a little kid the Jamarcus Russel fiasco and then the Darius Hayward Bay bust and basically I mean, I could just go down the last 15 to 20 years after draft terrible pick, and hopefully that changes and become a good drafting team!
Hopefully the automated voice text that I used didn’t do such a shitty job that you guys can’t understand what I’m trying to say. I should have gone over it and fixed the typos before I posted the comment but oh well. Anyways, this was a cool couple of hours of draft rabbit holes u guys are both really cool to listen to👌
i think slowik has been looking very rough this year and it would scare me away from getting him for my rookie qb. it is very possible that stroud was just that good and slowik just didnt get in the way
And you don’t even talked about the Antonio Brown Saga 😅 THANKS for this episode guys 🙏🏻 Raidernation really needs some hope after this 2-6 start. Think moving on from AP only if we get Lions OC. Otherwise just fire Getsy, draft Ward, Sanders or Milton and get someone competent at OC. Maybe one or two splashes on FA but let’s see how it goes. LOVE THE SHOW 👍🏻
issue i see w getting Monken as OC is he’ll draft a QB, absolutely ball out, and then get hired to be a HC somewhere else. so now you need a new OC after only a year and your QB has two play callers in their first two seasons.
That's the problem with hiring a def minded head coach. They'll constantly lose their OC. Hire an offensive minded head coach and tie him to whoever qb they draft.
You could do an entire episode of about 2hours on just the drafting going back to the 90's. You start at 2016, I'd start at around 88 or 91 as being the start. The lane kiffin Era, art shell hiring firing hiring firing etc etc the moments where things are goin right get ended by a davis or series of unimaginable events.
They drafted quite well in 2018. But all things go wrong after Gruden e-mail. Lose ruggs and Hunter Renfrow didn't make as much production when he was in gruden skeam.
they built a tank, i just wish and hope they had a specific QB prospect in mind, when they made it, thats the weird thing about building a tank this year. noah wouldn't build a whole arc if he wasn't sure everyone would be there for the rapture. i don't care who the target it is, but have a target in mind.
I've been surprised by how bad White has been. He outplayed JJ late last year but couldn't make the change from power scheme to zone. The QB was set to be a disaster especially once Kliff left the building.
Traded Max to Bills: Tre asked to see scenario of which Max is traded here are the results: 1st: Cam Ward 1st: Mykel Williams 2nd: Omarion Hampton 2nd: Kyren Lacy 3rd: Tacario Davis 3rd: Jayden Higgins
The draft woes of the Raiders made me think about how bad the Jaguars have been. For the inevitable FYF 2025 Jacksonville Jaguars, during the section that will inevitably be dedicated to Trent Baalke, please highlight the sheer number of picks that have been wasted in areas of need that could have NOT been wasted if they had any other GM. Here's a quick list of some of the guys that he has passed on that he had the opportunity to draft that are now excelling in their situations: - 1. Creed Humphrey, the cornerstone of the Chief's Oline and arguably the second most important piece of their success, went at the end of the 2021 draft. This was Baalke's first draft as Official GM of the team and he understandably took Trevor Lawrence at number 1. He then traded up back into the 1st round to draft Travis Etienne, after the 2020 Jaguars finished in the bottom 10 in the NFL for O line rankings, but understandably wanted to pair Lawrence with one of his college weapons. In the second round, he took Tyson Campbell at 32 overall, who is still their best cornerback currently. So instead of using either pick to put someone of Creed Humphrey's caliber in front of your number 1 overall pick QB, you use a 1st round pick on a running back behind a poor O line then use your 2nd round pick on a CB who, while good, has not been as important to his team's success as Creed has been for his. 2. I'll highlight the absolute abomination of a 2022 draft that Baalke made, starting with Travon Walker, who in every context imaginable was an awful pick regardless of how he is playing right now. He was selected at 1st overall over: Aidan Hutchinson, Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Jameson Williams, Kyle Hamilton, Tyler Linderbaum, etc. Not a single GM other than Baalke would've selected Walker over Hutchinson. The Jags finished bottom 10 in run stop and pass rush in 2021, so D line made sense. You picked the worse prospect over the clear number 1 guy, but even then the secondary was still terrible and you could've justified taking Sauce, Trent Mcduffie or moving back up into the 1st round (WHICH HE DID TO TAKE A LINEBACKER IN DEVIN LLOYD) to take Kyle Hamilton to bolster your safety room with (who is a top 3 safety in the NFL now). Or, you could take the offensive approach and pair your number 1 pick QB with an elite weapon of Wilson, Olave or Williams, as well as possibly jump back or up to get Tyler Linderbaum who would've helped your bottom 10 O line and terrible interior especially following 2021. Instead, he picked a DEVELOPMENTAL edge prospect 1ST OVERALL who becomes an even worse pick when adding the context that, in 2021 of the 15 highest paid players in the NFL, 13 OF THEM WERE QUARTERBACKS, so maximizing the window of Trevor Lawrence's rookie contract was pivotal to roster building and competing. 3. In 2023, his first round pick was used on Anton Harrison, who seemingly was a fine selection who they moved back and still acquired, the jury isn't out just yet but they also picked him only to swap him over to the otherside of the O line than his natural position of RT and has seemingly struggled. Instead, they could have drafted Brian Branch (at the time of this post, he is the HIGHEST GRADED SAFETY IN THE NFL) who, could have been justifiably been taken in the first round of the 2023 draft, and while Baalke had the clear opportunity to move up in the 2nd round (along with several other teams that did) but apparently didn't like the "cost of moving up" only to draft BRENTON STRANGE in the second round. Many people even believed (both fans and analysts) that Jacksonville was one of the favorites to draft Branch to begin with. Additionally, they could have drafted Joey Porter Jr who very surprisingly fell to the second round and the Steelers picked immediately at the start of it despite the secondary still being awful. Amid an off season where Evan Engram's future with the team was under discussion, they took a TE in the second round (which, they could've moved back again from 27 instead if they didn't want to take a TE in the first round) and they could've taken Sam Laporta, but no, BRENTON STRANGE WAS YOUR SELECTION. The jury is still out on the 2024 draft, but the seemingly sole highlight so far has been Brian Thomas Jr, after overpaying for Christian Kirk, giving up draft capital to pay for Calvin Ridley who hadn't played for 2 years, permitting Press Taylor to stay as OC for the Jaguars when the fans, team and NFL analysts have all seemingly noted play calling as being one of the worst problems plaguing the team, refusing to make off season moves for either free agents or trading for pieces to help either side of the ball in a meaningful way (likely due to a delusion that his "best trait" as a GM is his DRAFTING ABILITY) he has been in no understatement, the largest reason for the team's collapse, it's failure to enable Trevor Lawrence to consistently play at the level he has shown to be capable of playing at after giving him his contract a year EARLY (which just further makes the Travon Walker pick look even worse). There is a real possibility that his ineptitude as a GM could force the team to go into a total rebuild despite years of investment into becoming a competent and competitive team. Just to add an additional straw to the camel's already broken back, he was the one that HIRED URBAN MEYER TO COACH THE TEAM TREVOR'S ROOKIE YEAR. In conclusion, Trent Baalke is confidently one of the worst GMs in the NFL and has shown no real ability to do the job at a professional level to any capacity. I mean the man no ill will, and I have no comments on him as a person or as an individual, this is all STRICTLY from a professional performance stand point.
Just say the GM sucks. And you're wrong a lot of GMs take length into consideration. It's why Petey is a OG for the Titans and not a LT enough though he was the best OT in that draft
the trevon walker comment ticked me off because he does have supporters, who understand the long term vision overall with him, and thought his upside is higher than aiden hutchinson at the time, the dude athletically is myles garrett and julius peppers pre glow up physically. thats the vision for him, that haters judging his college production don't even know how to understand projection wise. under that pov, yeah you freaking take him, and maybe i'm wrong, and most scouts were wrong even though hes a top 10 lock in that year and maybe he's just defensive daniel jones. but its annoying in the same way DJ haters are for me to make a comment about him, when he's not the problem with this team. this teams problem is clear as day, they have botched the scouting on the boundary at every level, they paid a slot guy, in kirk WR1 money, then the next big pay day, was given to gabe davis. whose is seemingly only being paid because its free agency and they had to pay someone, when they're paying the wrong people in those spots. Travon Walker, Brian Thomas jr. anton harrison and Trevor lawrence are awesome building blocks, they just need to hit on literally everything else. you wanna know what would've helped, after taking trevor and travis, maybe not draft a tackle in walker little you have no interest in playing on day 1? Maybe in 2022, you can NOT with ur 2nd 1st round pick draft a Mike linebacker, if he's not a surefire pro bowler, maybe don''t use a day 2 selection on luke fortner. anyone thought about blaming them for that? ouhhh want a good one, don't hire Urban Meyer to be ur head coach, and burn a year of the entire franchise to even have to pick travon walker in the first place! Travon walker is one of the few good things this organization has done since drafting trevor lawrence. he's clearly a better pick than most decisions theyve made, don't bash him. doesn't deserve the slander.
@@tvtda1 the second half of what you said literally agrees with my post. And even if you are the biggest Travon Walker supported, you can NOT say with confidence he has played to level of the other players I listed in his draft class and would’ve helped this team more than those players would have given the Jags’ record atm
@@AtlasAdvice254 my thing is he's a good player, who hasn't even seen a 2nd contract yet. a lot of us would have submitted, that day 1 Aiden Hutchinson, is the better player. the case for travon is and always was a long term play. the bet is that at the end of everything Travon will be the better player, nothing has happened yet that makes them seem impossible to me. i'd understand if he struggled to be effective at all. i'm pretty sure he leads you guys in sacks this year, and everyone else is playing like semi trash. while trevor and travon take everybody elses bullets. Josh hines needs to be ashamed for the production dip because they need him to hold up his end. the secondary is so inconsistent, they're making travon walkers job harder. but yet he's the mistake? and trevor is getting the same treatment. theres people walking around in the world talking sauce like trevor sucks, when its literally everyone else around these two who deserve the blame. strong case travon is like the 2nd best player on the team besides trevor, and both of those two can't do EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE.
Todd Monken should be the next HC of Raiders. Who is our best offensive player we can build around “Brock Bower” and who knows how to build an offense around Bowers, Todd Monken from Georgia days together. Also look what Monken has done with Ravens offense last 2 years phenomenal.
No you are spot on on our needs: QB, RB, WR should be what we should attack first in the draft. As a fan, this franchise is finally lining up to have somewhat of success, the hard question for me is do we keep Pierce if somebody like Ben Johnson wants the HC job?
As a lifelong Lions fan I also know new regimes and bad drafting. I really believe drafting is more about rounds 2-5. Detroit hit on lots of first round picks and everyone else was out of the league in 2-3 years. You have to have young, cheap talent as both depth and starters !! When you miss on those rounds you end up overpaying for free agents that also mostly don’t work out.
I don’t think he’d want to go deal with Rodger’s when he’s potentially dealing with a 3 time mvp and a healthy situation over the jets where it looks like a tire fire right now
You guys briefly mentioned Stewart on the show but I’m curious what your updated thoughts on the Oregon WRs are? The summer scouting notes were they needed to get better on the physical side and work on contested catches, but Stewart definitely I think has shown some real progression in that regard (especially in the Ohio State/Purdue games)
Raiders fan - I think you were spot on with the team eval except I think the defense is good. The offense has given up several touchdowns and lots of other turnovers in opposing territory. I love the idea of Bowers, Higgins, and Meyer, a new backfield with another guard so JPJ can move to center. If the qb hits and they find a playcaller this team could be competitive next year and a threat by 2026. Can't trade Crosby. The Mack trade had zero returns and he wasn't the outspoken leader that Crosby is. Mack's peak has so far been higher than what Crosby has shown, but without a real season next to the level of Koonce we saw last year it's hard to compare to the Mack Irvin combo. To me Epps and Deablo don't need to come back. I think Epps has been a great compliment to Moehrig and has elevated his play so I'd rather drop Deablo and look for Eichenburg/Masterson to fill that void and maybe look for more in the draft. Bennet is on the perfect track for a developmental CB. Huge improvement as a sophomore and he has been CB1 because Jack Jones has not been in it mentally. On the draft note, I think the combo of Glaze and Mumford sets them up to have a right tackle and swing tackle. You gotta sign a guard in FA, but the left side of the line being Miller Jaedan Roberts and JPJ would be savage. I'll be curious to see what Koonce ends up signing for. He's shown some real flashes and a Dline of Koonce, Butler, Wilkenson, Crosby should be top of the league.
If you were to trade Mad Maxx, you are looking at 1.8 Jalen Milroe QB 1.29 Jack Sawyer EDGE 2.8 Kevin Winston S 3.8 Tory Horton WR 3.9 Jonah Coleman RB 3.29 Hollin Pierce OT
Maybe do three different mocks where you do a 3 round with keeping Crosby, one where you trade him pre draft for picks, and a third where you use him and as trade piece to move up in the the 1st round of the draft for a QB
I completely agree with this rebuild as a Raiders fan. I would resign Nate Hobbs, Divine Deablo, Tre'von Moehrig, Robert Spillaine, Adam Butler, and Malcolm Koonce. I think the backbone of this defense is still good and showcases that in games, despite having to fight against an offense that has the most turnovers in the league, but the depth isn't there yet, so they have fallen off due to injury this year. I would do everything in my power to sign Tee Higgins as well. He is the perfect fit for this receiver room and is incredibly underrated.
You need a video about every teams owners and how much or how little the owners get involved. As a lions fan I'd prefer a team like Jacksonville for Ben Johnson over the cowboys, jets or raiders. I think Kahn is his name. Him Kraft and the Atlanta owners seem like the most chill and who I'd want to work for and with
Raiders are NOTORIOUS for bad drafts, and it goes back farther than 2016. 2004: Robert Gallery, OT (next pick was Larry Fitzgerald) 2005: Fabian Washington, DB (next pick was Aaron Rodgers) 2007: Jamarcus Russell, QB (next pick was Calvin Johnson) Those three missed picks cost the Raiders dearly for the next 15 years. Imagine having all three of those players on your roster at once.
I also think you have to bring back PG, defense definitely flashes at times. It’s just hard bc they’re constantly on the field so as the game goes on they fade.
Can't believe you guys missed the golden opportunity to draft Jayden Higgins after signing Tee Higgins and have the most lethal Higgins duo in the league! The Spiderman meme in real life
Chip Kelly is interesting. He mentioned on Pat McAfee after landing the Ohio State spot that he just wanted to coach again and not worry about recruiting and other meeting BS. As a Chiefs fan, I’ve never seen the Raiders be good in my lifetime. Think they are just always going to be struggling to get out of their own way.
Raiders Fan Ward 1st Wilson has been playing better, I go Corleone, Millum, or Emory Jones 2nd, Unless you think Stewart can flex inside, and then I’m going Munungai, and Higgins as guys that feel like character fits, and what we want. I’d also consider trading Mayer, and taking Warren with my 2nd round pick.
Imagine if lions GM Brad Holmes had been running the raiders. I remember raiders having something like 7 1st round picks in a 3 year span. You can even go against consensus like Holmes did with Gibbs with 2 of those picks and should still build a team winning playoff games year 3 and a true contender by year 4
I would absolutley trade max crosby for 2 first round picks because I'm a mock draft sicko and love picking more players. Hell if I drafted a guy and he was incredible year 1 I would immediately trade him for multiple picks just so I can fuel my draft addiction.
All i say In alternate timeline Raiders are sneaky SB contenders under Rich Bisaccia with Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams and great defense lead by Maxx Crosby
i think the only way you trade Max is with a team that is picking top 10 and still get 2 1st. however not sure what team thats in that range that would be willing to do that
Bringing back the defense except maybe for like epps and maybe divine is exactly what I would want and what i’ve said as well that can help make this team successful
The draft woes of this team are historically Lions-esque. You look at the Matt Millen era, and the number of players that weren't even in the league after 3-4 years is baffling
Thanks for giving a sad raider fan hope 😅 IMO Resign Hobbs,Spillane,Koonce, & maybe Moerig...Also Kolton Miller has been rough this year ever since his offseason injury...might be time to move on from him as well. And for the love of God NO Maxx trade! Great content always fellas! Raaaaaaiders
Mike Mayock deserves another chance. Gruden took control in the first round, and Mayock got unlucky in 2019. He tried trading out but couldn’t. I just feel like he doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves.
Fix the NY Football Giants -Top 24 rookie draft class - a 40 mil a year qb that hasnt thrown a td in his home stadium since 22 -let saquan walk...ugh - Owner Mara recently stated hes sticking with Gm Schoen and HC Daboll - a defense trying to mask its mediocre pass coverage with top 10? Pass rush - brucillo saving the offense line from record breaking bad 23 season, save Neal or move on -Malik the only weapon, tracy jr stepping up but is it enough -Ny media makes it tough to draft just anyone does shedeur fit? Would Cam Ward even be available? Dabolls history Shows he wont tank. Can we compete by 2026? Help my sanity! Haha please
The fact that you glossed over the fact that the Raiders could have had two WRs over 6'4 with the last name Higgins and confused the heck out of teams is a missed opportunity. Imagine a corner goes to cover Jayden when they wanted to follow Tee. Make their numbers confusing enough to where you're not sure who is who. 4D chess
what’s crazy is Ruggs supposedly had spotless character evals coming out of bama.. and he was on pace for 1200 yards in year 2 he just clearly wasn’t mature enough to handle the responsibility of being a young adult in vegas
I think it would make more sense to move Dylan Parham to center. JPJ is such a physical presence at guard and Parham isn't really powerful enough to be a high end guard.
Please please fix the Titans soon. Us Titan fans are down real bad. As in, we want Levis to be our starting QB for the rest of the season. Not because we think he can win, but because we think it's a more entraining way to lose.
Per Hunter Renfrow: I blame Derek Carr.... Hunter caught a pass which literally landed him in the hospital. Season-ending concussion, and he was never the same after.
i think the answer is deal Maxx for (2) 1st+ 3rd sign Diggs WR Hou Sign Justin Feilds QB Pitt Sign Jamaall Williams RB DEN Sign James Daniels OG Pitt 8-TMAc 31-Ewers/shedure who ever is left 2nd-Shemar Stewart De A&M 3rd-Klye Mungai RB Rutgers 3rd-Max Harriston Cb tucky 3rd-Jonah Monheim C USC fixes the line, gives you weapons and a QB of the future W/2 1sts next year will need for repalcent OTs in 2026
what’s crazy is Ruggs supposedly had spotless character evals coming out of bama.. and he was on pace for 1200 yards in year 2 he just clearly wasn’t mature enough to handle the fortune and fame and vegas lifestyle
They drafted quite well in 2018. But all things go wrong after Gruden e-mail. Lose ruggs and Hunter Renfrow didn't make as much production when he was in gruden skeam. And blame on Tyree is to consequentialism. Every export valued him as top 10 prospect.
We’re an in-division trade for Audric Estime from becoming a contender.
Team building is very simple: trade for Estime
I would offer the scale of "Cheeks to Chiefs" personally

I did a 7 round mock where I traded Maxx Crosby for the raiders.
The trade for Crosby was like this:
DET: Maxx Crosby
LV: 2025 1st, 2025 4th, 2026 1st
Results:
1.08: Will Johnson, CB Michigan (4 QB's went before me picks 2,3,4,5 so QB here wasnt an option nor was trading up)
1.31 (via DET): Isaiah Bond, WR Texas
2.39: Drew Allar, QB Penn State (Nussmeier was also available, but I actually prefer Allar based on what i've seen this year)
3.70: Omarion Hampton, RB North Carolina
3.72 (via NYJ): Wyatt Milum, OT West Virginia (Thought the value was too good and I'm not sold on what the raiders have at RT currently)
4.106: Josaiah Stewart, ED Michigan
4.132 (via DET): Xavier Restrepo, WR Miami FL
5.147: Andrew Mukuba, S Texas
6.184: Mike Green, ED Marshall
6.212 (comp): Will Lee III, CB Texas A&M
6.214 (comp): Jalen Catalon, S UNLV
7.223: Bhayshul Tuten, RB Virginia Tech
Pretty sick ngl
There's a lot to like here, especially Allar. Well done.
Okay, this guy drafts ☝
Drew Allar is the wrong QB for this team. He’s a 3 year project. Don’t have the surroundings for that. So that ruins the entire trade and draft.
Hello, how are you? I am a regular viewer of your TH-cam channel. I came here to say that- "I always learn something new from your channel-so valuable!" Good Luck to You
LFG!!!!!!!!!!!! Back like we never left.
Verbal meme: Dirk calling HB blast throughout the game and it’s Kylo Ren screaming more 😂😂😂
Lets Goooo! Been waiting for this one for a while, sadly enough. 😂
FINALLY been waiting for this😭
Connor made a great point with the playmaking safety bit.
Anyways, this was a cool couple of hours of draft rabbit holes u guys are both really cool to listen to👌
i think slowik has been looking very rough this year and it would scare me away from getting him for my rookie qb. it is very possible that stroud was just that good and slowik just didnt get in the way
Fix your franchise time already?! LETS. GO!!!!!!!!!!
And you don’t even talked about the Antonio Brown Saga 😅
THANKS for this episode guys 🙏🏻 Raidernation really needs some hope after this 2-6 start.
I guess you missed the part about him being promoted after one year.
Love to see a fix your franchise For the Browns
They drafted quite well in 2018. But all things go wrong after Gruden e-mail. Lose ruggs and Hunter Renfrow didn't make as much production when he was in gruden skeam.
It would be cool if y’all can edit in a makeshift depth chart at you do the FA strat and draft. Awesome video !
this team went into the season with the worst QB and RB room in the whole league. how could they not have seen this coming??
Stubbornness and incompetence
they built a tank, i just wish and hope they had a specific QB prospect in mind, when they made it, thats the weird thing about building a tank this year. noah wouldn't build a whole arc if he wasn't sure everyone would be there for the rapture. i don't care who the target it is, but have a target in mind.
I've been surprised by how bad White has been. He outplayed JJ late last year but couldn't make the change from power scheme to zone. The QB was set to be a disaster especially once Kliff left the building.
Telesco
Traded Max to Bills:
Tre asked to see scenario of which Max is traded here are the results:
1st: Cam Ward
1st: Mykel Williams
2nd: Omarion Hampton
2nd: Kyren Lacy
3rd: Tacario Davis
3rd: Jayden Higgins
Wait until you are a dad and your neighbor fires up the leaf blower while your kid is napping. You’re looking at all of the windows.
Here's a quick list of some of the guys that he has passed on that he had the opportunity to draft that are now excelling in their situations:
If they did that it’s hard to imagine they don’t draft Beck which would be interesting
@@jamescarrot6148 No I don’t think so there are better QBs that Monken would love to grab. Milroe, Sanders come to mind for his system
No you are spot on on our needs:
QB, RB, WR should be what we should attack first in the draft.
I love restrepo man as a late round pick maybe 4th round if he’s there
Monken should be top of the Jets’ list for HC in January.
Agree with Crosby assessment. He is everything you want as a Raiders fan, not tradeable.
If you were to trade Mad Maxx, you are looking at
1.8 Jalen Milroe QB
1.29 Jack Sawyer EDGE
2.8 Kevin Winston S
3.8 Tory Horton WR
3.9 Jonah Coleman RB
3.29 Hollin Pierce OT
Great video
Most of these moves would help big time
Don’t trade Maxx
Higgins Conner Ward and a OL would be insane
You should look at the raiders drafts since 2000. If I remember correctly, the last 2 1st rounders we’ve resigned is Kolton Miller and Nnamdi Asomugha
2004: Robert Gallery, OT (next pick was Larry Fitzgerald)
2005: Fabian Washington, DB (next pick was Aaron Rodgers)
2007: Jamarcus Russell, QB (next pick was Calvin Johnson)
Those three missed picks cost the Raiders dearly for the next 15 years. Imagine having all three of those players on your roster at once.
Do this for the Giants!!!
This is so hard to watch, but true...
I also think you have to bring back PG, defense definitely flashes at times. It’s just hard bc they’re constantly on the field so as the game goes on they fade.
Underrated RB that would move the needle a little for me; Khalil Herbert. On a contract year with the bears and criminally underutilized
Can't believe you guys missed the golden opportunity to draft Jayden Higgins after signing Tee Higgins and have the most lethal Higgins duo in the league! The Spiderman meme in real life
Don't get higgins draft a wr at 2nd after your qb at 1st round. Use the money for 2 guards. Move jpj to center. Or use the money on a cb1.
As a Raider fan, a D draft is all I want 😢
Chip Kelly is interesting. He mentioned on Pat McAfee after landing the Ohio State spot that he just wanted to coach again and not worry about recruiting and other meeting BS.
As a Chiefs fan, I’ve never seen the Raiders be good in my lifetime. Think they are just always going to be struggling to get out of their own way.
Chip Kelly almost got the Raiders OC job this offseason. I think Davante Adams was pushing for Getsy over him.
Raiders Fan
Ward 1st
Wilson has been playing better, I go Corleone, Millum, or Emory Jones 2nd, Unless you think Stewart can flex inside, and then I’m going Munungai, and Higgins as guys that feel like character fits, and what we want.
I’d also consider trading Mayer, and taking Warren with my 2nd round pick.
No mention of McCown as a possible OC? Currently the QB coach for Darnolds resurgence...
If they get cam ward, they should probably pick up Restrepo especially if they can get a tee Higgins in FA.
The Dirk part is funny AF, However the Pat at OC thing probably won't work as he did that for Denver (after the NYG HC spell) and they were bad.
Pumped, not even my team
Can you give the Browns the 3rd rounder from buffalo in the mock draft simulator 😬
I like vrabes for the raiders, also jerry jones is gonna send the house for ben johnson
All i say
In alternate timeline Raiders are sneaky SB contenders under Rich Bisaccia with Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams and great defense lead by Maxx Crosby
i think the only way you trade Max is with a team that is picking top 10 and still get 2 1st. however not sure what team thats in that range that would be willing to do that
Ideally, would love to see 3 F.Y.F. episodes per month until #DraftSZN
ending with the chiefs fix your franchise episode
Bringing back the defense except maybe for like epps and maybe divine is exactly what I would want and what i’ve said as well that can help make this team successful
Pats, Giants, Titans, Browns, and Rams would all be fun candidates
You need to also update Washington having the higher of the Eagles third rounders from the Jahan Dotson trade
Saints next!!
To be Fair to Pierce he was pounding the table for Jayden Daniels
Feel like my saints have reach the fix your franchise status this year
The draft woes of this team are historically Lions-esque.
Fix the NY Football Giants
-Top 24 rookie draft class
- a 40 mil a year qb that hasnt thrown a td in his home stadium since 22
-let saquan walk...ugh
- Owner Mara recently stated hes sticking with Gm Schoen and HC Daboll
- a defense trying to mask its mediocre pass coverage with top 10? Pass rush
- brucillo saving the offense line from record breaking bad 23 season, save Neal or move on
-Malik the only weapon, tracy jr stepping up but is it enough
-Ny media makes it tough to draft just anyone does shedeur fit? Would Cam Ward even be available? Dabolls history Shows he wont tank.
Can we compete by 2026? Help my sanity! Haha please
The fact that you glossed over the fact that the Raiders could have had two WRs over 6'4 with the last name Higgins and confused the heck out of teams is a missed opportunity. Imagine a corner goes to cover Jayden when they wanted to follow Tee. Make their numbers confusing enough to where you're not sure who is who. 4D chess
What about Kellen Moore in the mix as well
what’s crazy is Ruggs supposedly had spotless character evals coming out of bama.. and he was on pace for 1200 yards in year 2 he just clearly wasn’t mature enough to handle the responsibility of being a young adult in vegas
I’m curious as to what Tee Higgins would actually cost given the injuries he’s had throughout his career. Hope to see the Jaguars on here soon!
FIX THE JAGUARS NEXT!!!
Let's gooooo🎉
Tee Higgins is coming to Washington and nobody can tell me otherwise
U didn't mention Thayer Munford on this Oline
I think he's shown that he isn't physically gifted enough to be a satisfactory right tackle. Getting a good swing tackle in the seventh is still dope.
i think the answer is deal Maxx for (2) 1st+ 3rd
sign Diggs WR Hou
Sign Justin Feilds QB Pitt
Sign Jamaall Williams RB DEN
Sign James Daniels OG Pitt
8-TMAc
31-Ewers/shedure who ever is left
2nd-Shemar Stewart De A&M
3rd-Klye Mungai RB Rutgers
3rd-Max Harriston Cb tucky
3rd-Jonah Monheim C USC
fixes the line, gives you weapons and a QB of the future W/2 1sts next year will need for repalcent OTs in 2026
Da Bois!!
Chip Kelly interviewed for the raiders OC job last year and they chose Getsy lol
I don't think he even interviewed
what’s crazy is Ruggs supposedly had spotless character evals coming out of bama.. and he was on pace for 1200 yards in year 2 he just clearly wasn’t mature enough to handle the fortune and fame and vegas lifestyle
Please consider fixing the Rams.
Some how the Panthers not being first… makes me feel better even though they probably deserve to be first.
saints underrated first candidate
If you traded Crosby you could realistically try and get sanders and jeanty
The browns have gotta be in prime position for this series now
They drafted quite well in 2018. But all things go wrong after Gruden e-mail. Lose ruggs and Hunter Renfrow didn't make as much production when he was in gruden skeam. And blame on Tyree is to consequentialism. Every export valued him as top 10 prospect.
Wouldn't even consider the Maxx Crosby trade the idea is insane (not a raiders fan)
