The only thing that I find strange is that the musicians get very serious, with a music as cheerful as this, everyone is serious. It's weird to me. But anyway, you play very well, everything very clean, perfect, missing only the expression of joy, it all seems too professional.
Flavio Izidio i personally think that they are enjoying the music in their own way. I would know because I am a musician too and as much as I enjoy the music that my team plays during live performances, I still have to pay close attention to how I play my part and how my playing affects the other players and the overall quality of the music we are playing, it just cant be avoided since that's the professional, musical aspect of the job. But that does not mean we do not enjoy what we do, we actually do enjoy it, It's just that it's not immediately obvious to onlookers, especially non-musicians. :)
@Mark, i need to agree with you. two days ago i had some gig and yeah, in this vid not only they're enjoying playing there, they're even having fun of this! especially that they're with every note at point. like i said, two days ago i played 2hr gig. few mistakes, because of light on stage, sound on stage, weather and especially my memory, even on track that i play day by day for over 6yrs. when i fcked i made made face, everyone in band laughs and people was delightfull seing that someone can 'play with playing'. everyone was satisfied, cause everyone had fun. and fun is all about not being serious afterall ^^
They are into it, musicians don't enjoy music by smiling throughout the whole song they enjoy it by adding things to it, improvising. you'd have to be a musician to understand. just because they aren't smiling doesn't mean they aren't enjoying it.
