The keyboard player keeps trying to cue the drummer for the hits/changes....this guy needs no cue....he knows exactly where every part of the song is going at all times....one of my favorite drummers to watch on youtube. I'd like to shoutout whoever the sound guy is that keeps this kit sounding right! 👍🏾 👍🏾
it's just communication really. They don't have head sets so that's their way of communicating the next changes. I don't think he means any harm by it.
Ehhhh...the drummer did groove straight through the accents on the vamp. That would've irritated the mess outta me LOL. He's dope though. Whole band is dope. Oh by the way I'm a music director and keyboard player...so I get it
