We run an Avatar 12.25 here as well th-cam.com/video/UkHWHoXif5cs/w-d-xo.htmlo when we need a disc option in cover crops that's is the drill of choice. If the Co6 was our only drill then adding a leading disc might be a good idea
We did nealy the same thing with our horsch sprinter 9 big problem ist the 30 cm spacing we have now instead of your 25 on the co 6 but we needed the bigger hopper Is your avatar also on 25? Can you give a Link where those small seed boots are available Thanks a lot
Great video of your modifications. You’ll be going into the direct drill manufacturing game next 👍😉 Do you use this one for certain situations / conditions and the 12m avatar for others? Definitely looking forward to seeing more vids on this channel. Good to see some UK ag content on TH-cam instead of all american / Canadian content.
This would definitely be called the wet weather drill. There will be more videos coming, that’s for the comments and no plans to make drills, plenty of good ones on the market right now.
Thanks Ben - will try to find some time and put more effort into this long-neglected channel. Anything you would like to see particularly? The Co6 is the choice when wet or in 2nd cereal situations, our Avatar is the big output and cover crop weapon of choice. Often have them running together to get big areas covered
@@thefarmingforum5141 thanks for that, personally I’m interested to see and learn about any of the regenerative / conservation ag practices. Think more of that type of content is required on TH-cam so that people can see how U.K. farmers continue to lead the way.
Good video Clive, always interesting to see what is possible with know how and a bit of imagination. Look out M. Horsch !
Would you consider adding front leading discs before each tine to cut through trash or this not something you would see beneficial 🤔
