even tho i already know how to achieve it i love how simple this video is for beginners. i would suggest people to use speed ramping in after effects because you’ve more controls there, Happy editing ❤
Amazing video, love your tutorials, man. Thanks so much! Question: that lens filter you use tha gives this "fish eye" kind of effect, what's the name of it?
its not a lense filter, its a vignette, it happens because the camera his using (sony fx3) is full frame and the lense his using is aps-c format so the frame dont cover the whole full frame so it looks like that, you can also achieve this with a "filter" but won't look the same honestly
When you do these can you also talk about the lense your using and how your getting and talking about the vignetting don’t know if that would make the video too long but would be cool to know
Hey man thank you so much Gaku! For your course odyssey you linked is there a tutorial on your style of color grading? I keep trying to get good use out of my fx3 but my color grading on my Sony a6400 still looks better. I’m so lost lol 👀🤦♂️
this lens is 10-18 F, but you used in in a full frame camera, and so 2:24 is what we get in 10mm on a full frame camera like fx3? also if u use active stabilization on, so it zooms a bit to make the vignette dissapear, do u know what mm it becomes? i have a viltrox 16mm 1.8..does it worth it to get also this one for this kind of work?
Record in a higher fps so that when you slow your videos down when time/speed ramping, its less choppy. If you shoot in 60fps and have your project timeline in 30fps, you're able to slow your video down by up to 50% without it looking very choppy or natural. If you were to film at 30fps and use a 30fps timeline, whenever you slow it down, there would be still frames because all 100% of your frames are already being used, and when you slow videos down, it spaces each frame further apart. That's why whenever you shoot in something like 120fps in a 30fps composition, your footage is viewed as 30fps, but by stretching it out, you can slow it down to 25% speed, because 30/120=1/4, which is 25%. If that makes sense
@@mayz2k Hey man appreciate the reply, makes a bit more sense when slowing it down and the explanation at the end is great :). But when I'm trying to SPEED it up it also looks choppy for some reason. Like trying to speed up by 500% the last 2 seconds of a clip and also transitioning to 500% speed up the first 2 seconds of another clip. if that makes sense.
I get what you're saying. From my experience, the only time speeding up a clip has ever made it appear any bit choppy was if I was speeding it up too fast. Since when you speed up a clip, you're essentially removing/skipping frames and moving the other ones closer. The more you speed up a clip in this scenario, the more frames that are being skipped, making your video look less smooth & dynamic. Its like if I took a video of my cutting up an apple. If I speed up the video a whole lot, at some point it may just look like pieces of the apple are being sliced immediately, versus seeing the whole knife chopping action. A way to combat this if you're really insist on speeding up your footage to that high of a degree is to either utilize plugins like RSMB to smoothen out speed ramping, or something like Twixtor, which simply adds blurred motion on & in between your frames to make your footage look smoother,@@pablojr.v
@@mayz2k Okay that actually makes so much sense, speeding a 30fps clip is making it "lag" but at a faster rate. Thank you my friend, learned a lot today :D
Too easy bro. Thanks
The GOAT at what you do
Thanks!
어떻게 이렇게 부드럽게 움직이나요. 대단합니다
i realy miss those kind of tutoo thank uu maaan
Sweet ramp tutorial.
this is why I love youtube
Filming BTS is goooood, lots of vids out there of the post production but not much on the actual filming
this is epic.
This effect is sick!
Been waiting for a video on this topic for a long time! Much appreciated!
That is the problem with the world today, most people just sit and wait for someone else to do stuff, instead of figuring it out themselves.

Props to Gaku for the tutorial.
Never seen it done like that before, very creative!
Bruh I just found you in my recommended. So you breakdown the SHOOT and EDIT! You are about to change my life man
Thanks for this video. I have been looking at how to do this. Well broken down and simple to follow 👍🏼
Nice colors
Trying this effect out ASAP!

Inspiring! Thank you for such an easy and great explanation 😊
Thanks for your tutorial mate! Awesome stuff.
Dope tutorial!
great video !! Which frame rate you use ? Its look like a 25or 30
amazing. simply put
After upgrading all my old drone footage to 4K with ai-videoupscale this will look even better.
Stellar flying and teaching skills, can't wait to try this out!
I just like your style & i'm future proofing myself.

tHanks for a creative video idea. Happy New Year 2025
i love your work bro 🙏
I been wanting to learn this effect since forever 😭
Quality Content.
Cool

what lens did you use here really love the vibe!
The colors in the video are very nice. Can you share the color adjustments
Hey Gaku - for speed ramps, what timeline are you using? 24fps or 30fps?

Nice tutorial. Can I ask what kind of transition 0:03-0:04 is? Like the photo shutter effect? Where or how can I get that effect? Thank you
we need more love ur vids man🤟🤟🤟🤟
Great contente Gaku. Thank you so much for showing us the tutorial. One question. Did you film the footage in 24 or 60fps?
60 I think to make a clean speed ramp
Hey can you say anything about ur gimbal settings for the FPV settings? Would be nice
dope
thank u bro
Awesome video! Could you share your gimbal settings?
Love the Tutorial but i miss one of the Key Points… How do i edit to the music? Do you choose the Song before or After editing the Clips?
Your channel is my choice
Please tell? How fast should you move and how many fps to record?
Dope video, what’s the name of the instrumental and sound effects you use at the intro for the speed ramping?
Okok goodluck
Yo man, such a good and cool tuto thanks ! Can you tell us where you get you'r sound effect pls ?
🔥 you got a new sub
And what’s the track name you used in the beginning for the ramp?
how do u color grade your clips??? Looks amazing!! Congrats ❤
Thankyou bro!
The only way to get the plug in is by paying it?
Could u do an color grade tutorial?
where do you get the sound affects from for using in these videos? like the swooshes and air noises
These colors are straight out of your camera???
did you use 60 frame?
Nikon lens cap on FX3 👀
hi, bor! I really like your colors in the video, this Bloom and Eagle effect, can you tell me how you do it?

Do you always record in cine or slog brother? you are awesome!!!!!!!!!!
what frame rate did you shoot this at?
hi bro i like your work congrats !!! what is your lens please ?
which camera and lens used for this video
Super noob question but do you need to shoot in S&Q (60/120fps) or can you shoot in 24/30fps for a speed ramp?
whats your DJI Gimbal Settings?
I have a question, you lock all the axis?
Same question here. And please share more about your gimbal setup
So does the gimbal have to be in follow mode? Because I have a zhiyun
@@SAINTBITXI just fpv mode or whatever fluid movement mode you have
Okok
Can you put a link on where to get the gimbal?
Just added in the description!

I really want to know what song that is in the intro!
this is the 10-18 on the fx3?? interesting...
How to get focus on lens

its look like a 24/30 fps
Which program is that?

Do you know why the gimbal when recording in FPV mode, in a few movements the angle of the gimbal becomes disoriented?
what mode do you use on the RS3? I seem to always have something funky going on when i use it
nvm FPV mode LOL
does it matter what fps you shoot with?
also what lens you using for your fxe that crop is dope
we can't find rumba
it hurts so much to see someone edit on premiere when you're an FCPX editor :D You don't have to suffer, you own a mac ;-)
i loose focus when i do this ??
Intro song anyone?
