I'd say log works better... but it's ur choice. Log does more damage, makes it better against more match ups, also if ur running rocket, rocket cycle is defin a option, and log rocket just does better over all

Im not sure, if you know how to play a defensive mortar, like you do against golems it fully counters e giant without any support troops, but obviously they will support their push so just defend like you would a golem, i am worried about electro spirit, it fully counters skellie barrel for a positive elixir trade either way i think us mortar guys will be good

I thought that, fireballing sparky before planting defencive mortar, allows you to cycle second fireballing quicker, allowing to defend his mini pekka and half a sparky better... Is that play even better ..?
I V your right, in fact i think sparky is one of the easiest matchups, play a mortar, in the placement you would against golem, and log plus fire ball will kill the sparky, and the gob giant will get pulled by the mortar

The splashyard matchup is good for mortar. Like 60-40 more or less. I'm a splashyard player and I really struggle against this mortar bait. Good responses to my graveyard and too much pressure. Is also a poison bait, and I don't have it for musk, mortar or ofensive against goblin gang. And you think "hold on up to x3 elixir", but x3 is a goblin festival where you can't defend both lines.

I’m a top ladder player and I’ve won that matchup before. You have to play the mortar at the river on the center tile closer to the balloon and it will pull the balloon and also hit the opponent’s tower. Then you have to kill it with your musketeer.
Adam Zarember this is my favorite mortar play, you can do this against royal giant and hog rider, but its a bit more risky in those matchups still though that extra mortar hit is the best☺️
MJ J I like doing this against hog rider too it’s the only way to win against 2.6. I don’t usually do it against rg as they build up a big push and you can normally beat rg by playing safer defensive mortars.

I've been playing this deck on ladder for a while with level 11 and 10 cards around 3700 but there's so many over leveled people that I can't tell if I'm playing the deck badly or its the level difference

That sparky matchup..never fireball a lone sparky..you have to hit that mini pikka..or you would have to overcommit on defense .he had nado zap fireball .muski opposite lane make him tornado the muski away ..then the defense with mortar knight gang is pretty easy and u have a massive counterpush
sorry bro but this has one impossible matchup .its giant sparky mini pekka skarmy zap arrows minion horde and bats. i m not pretty high in ladder but i use this giant sparky deck in 6500s and i ve faced this mortar deck around 25 times and lost only twice:)
I was playing earlier and the opponent stopped my Pekka and Hog Rider push with just a mortar and bats and on top of that got half my tower.... something was not ok with that....
I just won on a 2.6 using this deck, defending the hog rider with the mortar is very easy. When he throws an hog rider I place the mortar at the river so I perfectly defend the hog+ I get a connection with the mortar
First of all there are so many garbage 2.6 players on a ladder and second of all motor doesn’t defend that good against hog and hog cycles faster so you probably won’t have motor all the time

Boss should i use e - giant instead of regular giant in the deck you won the tournament for the first time . I think the deck was gigantic prince.
