Awesome to see you take such time and care to make these. You make it look easy, but it takes a lot of skill to do that work and make it look so effortlessly done.
Is there a reason why you don't use a star washer between the inside pot nut and the plate? I've had pots work loose without it, even when really tight.
Why is the capacitor only wired to the tone pot? On my Squire telecaster 50's classic vibe, the cap is soldered to both pots. I need to replace my pots
all of my les pauls have way too much low-end (bass) (into a marshall) removing the tone circuits helps, using an overdrive that cuts low-end helps but not enough. is using a passive 1 nf capicitor the best way to cut low-end? (not a treble bleed volume pot but a full low-cut) can pickups be made with almost no low-end? 💀 thanks :)
THANK YOU for freeing me from the tyranny of trying to make every solder connection a good “mechanical” connection. I also noticed that you didn’t use shielded wire from the volume pot to the output jack. I assume that’s another thing that’s not necessary.

I bought and owned this set. Highly recommend.
Great video. I love all of the little tips (like using the screwdriver to keep the output jack from rolling).
Thanks, Dylan. Loved the video.
Upgraded my Tele with the Dylan pre-wired controls and there was a noticeable improvement with knob smoothness and capacitor sound -Money well spent!
Stoked to see what this is about
I really liked this video Dylan. Please do more of these. Your expertise and knowledge is fantastic. Thank you.
I like these diy videos.
I love these vids as I do these things myself and I want to get better at it. I have learned so much from your vids.

Yeah absolutely
I have the Fender Jason Isbell telecaster. It sounds good but could be better in my opinion. Might check out your Flat 6 's
Pls talk about rwrp ...also checkout Hakko's FX-601 Soldering Iron, heats up to 1000 degrees F
👍👍👍
The knob thing annoys the hell out of me too.
Watching this after your 5 myths about soldering. I notice you don't pre-tin your tips. Am I wasting my time doing that?
