  • Bottle Cap Table made using 625 Beer bottle tops and epoxy resin. I used chunky white oak to make the base for the top and finished it with sturdy black iron pipe legs! Its a super fun conversation starter that comes out on special occasions. Bar height table by Kinda Krafty. #bottlecaptable #bottletoptable #furnituredesign

    Really, really good. You are the first of the bottlecap table videos I've seen that do not glue it down first. Design and execution was great as well as the narration.

    Great project and not overcomplicated like a lot of the other bottle cap table builds i’ve seen!

    Probably the cleanest looking final item I've seen on youtube videos. Good job.

    This would be my most enjoyable build, 1st up emptying 625 bottles of beer (most enjoyable job) then the build itself, then enjoying a few more beers using the table.

    Beautiful table, planning on doing a similar project this summer. Have you had any issue with air bubbles in the epoxy?

    That turned out really nice, great job! You inspired me to build something similar in our student home, only our table is 1 x 2m. Could you tell me how much resin you used in the end? And what is the area covered by the bottle caps?
    Thanks!

    How many kg of resin did you use?

    What is the thickness of the frame that goes around the bottle caps? I measured my bottle caps and the thickest ones are about 0.28" thick. I'm guessing that the frame needs to be around 3/8" thick to give enough depth to cover all of the bottle caps, but I want to make sure that's enough.

    How much epoxy did it take to cover that? Wandering how much I will need for mine. Don’t want to do one and not have enough to finish it in one go.

    Hey there! What type of glue did you use on the caps? Your first pouring to be exact. It looked different than the epoxy you used.

    • @pourawayresinart7238
      @pourawayresinart7238  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It was all the same. 2 part epoxy. The caps may float off if you just Pour over them so I used a minimal amount to stick them down first.

    Are there any actual instructions with materials lists of what kind of epoxy and glue you use? How long did you let each step dry? Etc?

    • @pourawayresinart7238
      @pourawayresinart7238  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Lori, the epoxy I used was promarine, available on Amazon and other places. Clear resin takes time to cure so I left at least 24 hours between coats and 72 hours for any final cures. Any other specifics you need?
