    Great job of using tile adhesive and grout. I have been saving bottle caps for years to do a bar top. Can't wait and this is by far the nicest looking finished top I've seen. Thanks for the tutorial!

    I’ve made about 20 cap tables and experience has taught me get your caps ready and to work fast - and fix them on top of a very thin layer of you poxy resin! Leave to cure overnight - then pour more resin to your desired depth to cover caps. No grout - and you see bits of the table - assuming it’s nice around the caps

    How did you get the weathered look in the grout? Looks all scratched. Looks great! This looks like a great way to not have to buy the deep pour epoxy

      I don't know, that is just the way it dried. Looked cool, but don't know if I can do it again. I guess just put it on thick and leave it alone. Good luck and thanks for watching.

    Probably the best bottle top table I’ve seen. Some ace caps. Don’t get many like that in the UK! Looking to do this myself, how many (roughly) caps did you use?

      Good question, you can tell it is heavier, but it is not that bad. the epoxy was only 1/8 thick on the caps. Thanks for watching.

    What did you use as the trim?

      I was a trim that look like wood, but was really a flexible plastic type of trim... I hope this helps and thanks for watching.

    Cool table, I would have prep the area better to be honest, especially the over spil....maybe a barrier stop boarder out of thin wrap ply then your PVC could have sat nicely over the resin without any extra work sanding or grinding the apoxy resin?
    I'm in the process or collecting specific bottle caps for my project, table is going to be an old wooden cable drum, 👍

    What was the size of your table and how many caps did you use? This is awesome!!

      I am not sure, but it was about 4 feet in diameter and the wife order two bags of caps, but I don't know how many were in each bag. I hope this helps and thanks for watching.

    Did you leave the grout to dry first or did you start wiping it off straight away

      The wife bought it, she thinks she just searched on Amazon and found it. They also sell a floor epoxy at home depot that we used on our countertops. I worked great on the countertops. Good luck and thanks for watching.

    Hi, Why do you need to grout ? I'm preparing a similar project but my table is made of nice wood so I'll glue each caps. So I'm thinking not to add grout to see wood in between caps.

    Is there any other edging you would suggest - bendable for a round table?

      I'm done with gluing the bottle caps down....now drying! On to grout next.....then epoxy!! But still need information on the edging!! ;-)

    You should have a clean float clean all the excess grout off of the bottle caps

      @@chud327 claro, por ejemplo, primero aplicar una capa ligera de resina antes de colocar las tapas, esto como medida de "aislante" para que luego no se derrame como le pasó a usted. Segundo el color del empore no era muy llamativo, y debe dejarlo secar al menos 1 día.

      It is on my list, but I am working on trailer from truck bed #2, pontoon boat #2, pallet projects, just got 11 atv tires to put on the mowers, etc... I will get to the deere. Thanks for watching.
