The Central Nervous System, Anxiety, and Simple ways to release both!

  • Along with Wellness Coach, Amy Bizal, we are excited to share knowledge of the Central Nervous System (CNS) and how we can connect with it through breath and movement (we'll even make you practice a couple of exercises!). The CNS is a complex collection of cells and neuro-transmitters, the more we can understand and recognize its workings, the more we can help to alleviate our anxiety, stress, and even hyper-tension.
    A few key points we will be going over:
    1. Description of nervous system and how it connects the mind/body (neurotransmitters sending messages from nerves to brain and vice-versa)
    2. Stress build-up and tension. How the breath releases the nervous system and tension.
    3. Description of fight-or-flight cycle and how we, as humans, get access the final step of the Fight/Flight cycle: Release
