This one has been on my radar for a while. It's a way better option than a tiny pliers based multitool like the LM Squirt, Gerber Dime, Nextool Mini etc. The plier head on the Vic is the same size as on those 3, but it's basically a mini pair of dedicated pliers, which pivots off the body of the SAK. Meaning firstly that it's much stronger as it doesn't have a pivot where the handles fold around the pliers head, and secondly you get more control, leverage and reach, since the tool fills the whole hand when the pliers are extended, with a Squirt for example you are only holding the handles with a thumb and 2 fingers. Those Victorinox pliers are far more capable than they look. I know this as I own a LM Squirt, and a Swisschamp. As it is I often carry the Climber, or the Farmer X, together with a pair of Knipex Cobra XS pliers. But honestly I'd recommend the Supertinker over the Climber due to the Phllips driver, I've only used the corkscrew once in 3 years of owning the Climber.
I replaced philips screwdriver with corkscrew in my Deluxe Tinker. So i receved model wich was discontinued many years ago a Deluxe Climber. I think this philips is very bad idea of Victorinox.
I think it's good. The can opener can deal with size 1 & 2 Phillips screws, as long as they're not recessed, and of course it's always better to use an inline driver. But if the screw is recessed you can use the backtool Phillips driver, provided it's not too difficult to access. That probably covers you for 90% of Phillips screws you're likely to come across. However you should just take care not to apply insane amounts of torque as that would warp the aluminium scales.
I like to think of myself as a deluxe thinker. Not up there with Bertrand Russell of course but certainly not a pound shop/walmart type thinker.

The corkscrew I used once to unknot something for as far as I can remember.

@@simonh6371 For heavier tasks I use a normal screwdriver to avoid damaging the pocket knife
@@herms-Channel Of course. We should all respect of the limits of our pocket tools/multitools and use dedicated tools where appropriate.
