We bign the journey by meeting friends at a campground in the middle of nowhere and continue on to Seward Alaska where we are greeted with over 30 vans ready for an adventure. Cynthia, you're a blond now with shorter hair! Quite the new look, and the blonde goes well with your blue eyes. I've always enjoyed seeing your river crossings, and I'm always happy to see you NOT get stuck in the middle! Jim, you're incredibly brave just trusting the computer when it comes to auto parts. They're wrong more than they're right. I've learned to take the old one with me to make sure they're the same. I also use my Notes App and have a Note just for my truck so I know what part numbers specifically I have to ask for. Even then, I can call and they'll say they have it in stock only to arrive and it's actually not. I hope parts stores are better in Alaska, but I'm guessing they aren't.
I suspect you're already through with the trip and that this series is going to be released after the fact so I hope it all went well. Seeing that it rains as per usual is a good thing. I'm not sure how you folks are doing up there regarding drought, but from what I've read, La Niña is going to make Alaska warmer. I hope that translates into more moisture, though it's probably a little annoying for it to rain so much. We're well below average here in Missouri.
I'm glad you took the time to share this video of all of you folks out having a great time. I feel as though my time in Missouri has run its course and I'll be hitching up and pushing west toward the wide open spaces of Arizona early next year. I have my eye on Sedona. I figure I can find work in the tourist sector. I'm saving up right now and I'll have the number I want in my account when I leave, that way I can coast a few months there while looking for work without it being rushed. My soul belongs in the desert, and what better desert than Sedona?
Take care you two, and I'm sure the entire trip of yours was incredible. I just hope this time you were able to see wildlife on the trip! You asked if I'd ever consider joining you folks up north for an adventure. If I ever won the lottery (which I suppose means I have to buy a ticket) I'd join you in the RV I've dreamed of ever since I saw my first one. An Earthroamer! My current configuration is not conducive to travel as you're accustomed. I can dream though.

We don’t always record our gps coordinates and many times we are posting so far behind in time it is tough to find those coordinates.

We never get tired of seeing your beautiful scenery! So happy to be able to follow along as you go on another one of these amazing adventures. We have a Ram Promaster chassis RV with 2 Wheel drive. We don’t intend to get an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive unless somebody changes something that isn’t Mercedes. We just don’t trust Mercedes right now. Other than that we would love to join you on one of your adventures in the future.
We always welcome what you have. If we hit a trail that we don’t recommend we always say it in advance and we always come back to get you. Don’t question it if you want to join us.
