This was a fully rental class, 4 hour endurance race. It was $1000 per team, recommended 4 person teams so $250 each. I wanted to do it for years but never knew people willing to join with me. If you join the Northeast Karting Challenge Discord, they post all about their schedules and everything and, for example, for this race there was a team of 3 looking a random extra driver so they posted in the Discord (that wasn't the team I went with, it was a different group that invited me, but I was just mentioning how valuable the Discord can be).
Track conditions were terrible, but I had a great time! I'm glad you pushed me to go haha. I've been wanting to for years and had to move some things around but made it work. And we would have done pretty good too if we realized we were riding on a flat for so long.
@@nikspeeds I do like Keith's goofy karts. He puts mg refs on the fron wheels which is pretty entertaining. I saw that you figured out line quick. Been to Etown before?
Thanks! I hadn't been there before yesterday, but I like it. It could probably use a repaving, but it's a fun track. I still have a lot of room for improvement, but on the dryest part of the day I was into the 52s. There were a lot of 50-51s.
@@nikspeeds it is a fun track! The chunks of pavement that leap into your kart, not so fun. It really needs some love. I see they removed most of the turtles. Those hurt.
