Welcome Back. I use the Fishman Mini to gig with all the time. I line it out into a Makie Flex system through a mixing board. Great for acoustic guitar.
I have the battery version - Loudbox Mini Charge - does everything this one does, and stays juiced up for when you're playing outside or away from power sources (like in a camper, etc.).
Great amps! I've used it in all the situations you mentioned. The mini was my solo acoustic/vocal PA then I got the artist a step up and use it as a monitor and have powered PA speaker(s) depending on the venue.
I had an excellent customer experience with my mini Loudbox, out of warranty. Shipped it to them from here in Canada, they replaced the main board, sent it back to me no charge.
Hey Mark...any chance you can do a video on replacing the 2-prong cord on a vintage amp ( like a Kustom 100) with the grounded 3-prong please? Excellent videos...next time I'm in Portsmouth, I hope to stop by and say hello...my wife and I live in Nashville, but we're moving BACK to New England - hopefully by early summer 2024...keep the great videos coming!
Great assessment of this versatile tool. My small acoustic band use these instead of our big PA in smaller gigs (I just have to balance them :D ) and we've used your powered speaker hack as well. I've even used it as an electric guitar amp in small settings when I'm playing country and 50s-60s rock where I don't need a ton of power or effects. BTW - didn't realize you're just over in NH, definitely an asset to northern NE. Keep them coming!
Great little amps, really great people at Fishman... thanks for the video!

YAY.....Missed ya!
He is baaaackkkkk!! :). Is that an Kalamazoo behind you? (the blue one))
You're right it is a great little amp... 60 watts out..... the artists are 120 watts out.
Your back
Like most things music related, people follow trends and then fall hard for vintage gear. Every single time.
Can you use it for keyboards?
Is that amp good for a bass guitar?
I used one for playing bass in a small jazz band. I use the Artist for country and rock bands.
All talk and no play
