Thank you for capturing these scenes. :) These will sure be a part of history, and these videos will indeed give some future railfans, or ordinary people alike, a grasp of what the wonderful Executive Building of Tutuban looked like. 👍 Also, I do really miss 921's clear Wee-Honk horn. I fell in love with her horn when I rode with her on the KiHa 52. As of now, 921 has a clean Sharp G note horn.
Awww, the PNR train squad deserves more, man. And yes, I cannot forget 921! She came shortly after a DMU could not go on due to low air pressure and overloading. :')
921 hauled EMU 7 then later EMU 8, btw I also have a video of 921 hauling EMU 8 in Pasay Road with kuya Marvin as the driver, too bad I accidentally deleted it :(

How is the PNR signalled? Every video I've watched shows a lack of any physical signalling system. Is done by radio communication on a station to station basis?
@@NeathSpadge Thank you. I'm presuming based on what you've said, that the crew get verbal/written orders to depart a station when the preceding train is confirmed to have left and cleared the next station ahead.

Think at least one or two were in Caloocan when I was there. Check out my earlier video of the workshops. It is badly done by my son, but shows much of what was there.
Just had a look at my photos from the last trip. None appear at Caloocan, so I can only imagine that some could be down in Naga. CAR-2 is the only one I photographed at Tutuban. prhsociety.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/pnr_rollingstock-v2-2016.pdf

Herr, Peadon, excellent stuff! What's with the mesh on all the car windows, rock throwing problems on the PNR?
People keep hurling huge rocks/bricks etc at the trains.
To stop them coming through the windows.
Funny, I never pegged the Philos as vandalism prone? That little shunter was good. Alco?

I am not entirely sure.
I got shots of her in 2007, but she suddenly disappeared.
Unusual as other locos have sat for years without scrapping.
