soO wins a tournament, gets knocked out of GSL. Innovation wins a tournament, also gets knocked out. What is happening?! Just goes to show how stacked the GSL is.
Let's not forget the Blizzcon and IEM runner up Stats got knocked out at the RD of 32 group stage in this season of GSL. This is why I think Serral needs to compete in the GSL
Imo it's that all of these players are playing at their limit and are all so closely matched that a lot of it comes down to luck of openers and things like that, where champs can lose to anyone in ro16+ and anyone in ro16 can win
exactly...I think any player that recently goes far in a tournament shows the most of his repertoire and these koreans know each other so well, they just know everything the other guy has to that point and can take advantage of it.
It goes to show how crazy competitive the top SCII scene is. Almost any players in the top 16 of GSL can take series off one another and almost all the top 10 GSL players are former champions in their own right.
SC2 has never had unbeatable dominant players. The fact some manage to win so many things in a row like innovation is the proof machines are already among us planning to eradicate humanity. Gsl has always been hell. Code A was even worse. Sc2 is a dark world where hungry players can rip you apart if you lose focus 1 second. Even the gods die.
Ademga348 artosis literally says trap is ahead on upgrades at 12:00... and the main battle in that game happened at 16:00 not 11:42... and Inno lost every skirmish before that final battle... and it was actually 5 immortals and 6 tempest... and no scvs were pulled like you say... and inno missed every opportunity to emp templar... complaining templar are gateway units is like complaining ghosts come out of barracks... r u troll?
I get tired of hearing Tastosis say "Beautiful storms!" C'mon, guys. It's a fucking easy-as-pie area-of-effect spell that comes out instantly and deals massive damage. Not exactly a move requiring great skill to pull off. Combine that with the fact that Terran air units naturally clump up as they have to come forward to get within range of the tempests and it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Late-game PvT is absurd.
Innovation does not look sharp these days anymore, his plays scream insecurities and way too shy compared to when he was dominating the scene. Or maybe he's making too much money already he doesn't care about his play or quality of the game he play anymore? Being teamless or the sole member of a team sure has some disadvantage, his misplacement of the turret to kill the warp prism shows that he clearly has no idea nor experience how to play that map. A pre-emptive spread to deal with protoss army? lol excuse me where's the baneling? with a little bit of bravery and confidence he could he stimed into that base and won that game easily. Get 0-4 in a group means that he's clearly staying out of league now.
Well honestly Protoss has, and have always been, overpowerd against T cause of their splash. Inno is 10 times better than Trap in skill.... but his race is underpowerd against what Toss has.
@@SsSHardt Trap just played better. He was one game away from beating Classic and beat Sos. Trap is a beast, even if he gets overshadowed by his Jinair teammates
@@sage4670 Trap is a 2nd or 3rd tier protoss. Innovation is top 10 in the world easily. Terran has always, brood war or sc2, been the most popular race in Korea. The Terrans of sc2 have always been the most skilled! ( excluded the first 2 seasons of gsl where everyone S U C K E D... I mean fruitdealer won.. Honestly???? You can argue that marineking was bad... But he beat him with a makaraxx and a bunker.... AND a CC behind)..... And cause of the level of Terran programing in Korea.. .. (match by only Special.... Don't say Jinro got to semi... Honestly again... First gsls excluded) cause of that we have a Terran race that NEEDS alot more multitasking than the other races.. That ALWAYS needs to pressure cause they have the worst late game and they have the worst eco at the same time having the hardest time to expand. So to answer your statement... Yes. Protoss is op. They have always been, and seems like will always be, defend.. Get 3 bases and A click across the map with 30 apm forcefields and you win vs everyone that's not the BEST of The BEST in the world.
Innovation is the worst Terran pro right now of the top Terran players. Yes, he won the WESG but that was more because, Serral west for cheeky unconventional builds. Maru and TY are so much better than innovation, that it is not even comparable, heck I think even Gumiho is better than Innovation.
TY and maru look better than inno at their best, but they're hardly ever as consistent. Gumiho also shows moments of brilliance but is even less consistent, so if we're considering him i think we should bunny as well. Right now there's stiff competition but over the years it's fair to say inno is the best
@@venokdoc4168 not just 3 protosses but 3 of the best there is. You're telling me he should've advanced based on this level of play? I'm asking this unironically btw
That recall flank was so cool.
That was pretty sick
WOW! My jaw dropped when that engagement happened. One of the most executed pvt attacks I've ever seen.
It's such a joy to listen to Artosis and Tasteless
At 26:50, how can it show on the left that 16 SCVs died, but on the unit lost tab only 13 have died?
@24:29. Confirmed - Cloaked Banshees somehow give reflection in the water :p
Ha! Nice catch :D

One of the coolest last battles
Get your boats ready! XD
Love how CC for comand center could be heard as see see. You know with the scan...
good cast, would have been great if hp bars for damage units was turned on.
THAT FLANK THO!
30:00 better army suply+workers+better upgrades = lost to gate units and 2 immortals...I play Protos ml3 eu and even i see balance problems in PvT
lets ignore the fact trap had storm, nod nod

big TRAP!
Trap looks very sharp right now
it really WAS a Trap...

why Artosis and Tasteless need to scream all the time?
wow.
:(
Storm is way too good and zealots have too much health.
Firstttt

he won a map vs sos
Innovations TvP is so bad, he should be ashamed of his gameplay and go practice TvP, or ask Maru for some classes on TvP micro and macro management.
