Someone commented on Jason Fieler’s transcription of the original: “This is like watching your first Marvel movie and it’s Endgame.” Well, this is Endgame’s post-credits scene.
Right... on first watch I thought they would come back and sing the tag or something. Alex Corson was funny and all but Ship-of-Theseus Midtown would have been god tier
I think honestly the biggest laugh me and my friends got here was when Nathan walked out to take Nicks medal. Purely cause we were ere excited for the bit to keep going 😂
Thank you SO much for listening! The Barbershop Harmony Society conforms with copyright laws as a matter of business compliance. This ensures its continued good standing on TH-cam, which earns millions of views of fantastic barbershop every year. BHS received a communication and take down request from a copyright holder regarding a song released on its TH-cam Channel, “No One Sings Higher Than Me,” performed by First Take. While the issue is investigated by BHS copyright and legal staff, the TH-cam video has been removed from the public channel. First Take is in communication with BHS, and we are working together to identify and resolve the situation with the copyright holder in a timely manner. Please refrain from speculation and allow the parties to discuss this in good faith.
If you use the TH-cam search for no one sings higher than me. You can see the original version, and then you can also click on that channel and see a whole bunch of potential copyright and take down claims that could potentially be done on that channel. And let’s face it that group could never sing that song to the quality of first take version. To me, they sounded like chalk on a chalkboard, couldn’t even listen to the whole thing. And then they had to admit in a comment that it was dubbed over an audio recording, and the video was basically faked, and a bad lip sync at that.
@@SonarTravels yeah I saw that video they were the original writers of the song, obviously BHS and them are trying to figure it out legally but from what I know BHS/First take did not credit them as the writers and they didn’t specify that it was a parody, if they did that there shouldn’t be an issue as parody and fair use laws protect users when covering songs and changing the lyrics
i understand, but imo this seemed appropriate because most were easy enough to pick up on, even if you don't know the lore. and you can still enjoy the performance aspect. plus, this was their swan set, so the existence of the performance itself is a reference
Tim's silence speaking volumes out here
He be like “Nuh uh… That’s MY post” LOL
Christian immediately sing a semitone lower kills me
This is the definition of a victory lap

This perfomance makes me happy on a whole new scale. The amount of references and wholesome jokes are just too perfect!
Tim's complete and utter lack of talking or any context when he just walks on and takes the medal had me on the floor XD
alright KJ
Same, I just hoped that he would be smiling for extra comedic purpose 😅
@@ckali8702 KJ's fursona revealed
the amount of cameos and jokes in this is absurd LOL I love it
I remembered Lunch Break getting interrupted for their Mic Test. This is the closest one we'll get 😂
