Cory is very much in the position I was around 10 years ago, which is around our age gap. Starting in accounting and then going into trades and learning more and more and putting a lot of effort into self growth. I have not gone back to being self employed but I am thinking of going in the same direction Cory has as honestly the only person you can ever rely on is yourself. Great episode and nice to hear Charlie and Cory's stories.
I messed about with my life until I was 39 at which point I decided to attend technical college [Riversdale Liverpool]. For 3 years, I did a commissioning and decommissioning of gas appliances course. By the time I became a qualified C.O.R.G.I Then Gas Safe engineer, I became self employed when I most gas engineers were considering retirement. My back went in 2015 so it was game over for me. My point is gas engineers and sparks [The Prima Donnas] of the trade world have a short shelve lives so starting early is paramount to making money, I was slow when I entered the gas industry like a snail on weed so was never ever going to make a living. I was working alone side lads who had been in the trade for 20 years plus, married, kids, mortgage paid off, nice cars etc. I soon realized that I would never have any of this, will always be renting my home and driving around in a ford transit shed 😂😂😂
Nice to meet you guys! 😎👍🏼
Great episode. Thanks for having me host 🙌🏻👍🏻

Great honest episode 🙌
Spot the deliberate mistake.
Why does the logo on the back wall say, Legerds?
Not deliberate we just adapted the font 😉👍
@TradeLegends "Adapted the font" ??? That's an r, not an n. 🙄😖
It was changed to something we preferred. Glad it’s to your liking Andrew. Happy it’s angered you so much you found the need to comment 👍
@@TradeLegends an "r" to "n" transition? I hope this is some deep isht innuendo rather than a lack of education.
🎉
