By the passage of time of bathroom and kitchen taps does not remain new. Their performance deteriorates day by day and the movement of taps are not smooth as compared to the new one. In this video I have demonstrated how to self service the taps and make them perform as new one.

If the deposit on the spindle is lime scale then synthetic vinegar is best to remove it. Immerse the spindle in a cup of vinegar and leave it for about an hour. Then scrub it with a brush. Lime scale isn't removed in one operation since it forms layer on layer in time. You will have to repeat the operation several times. Each time after brushing the spindle spray WD 40 on it and rub it with a cloth.
