Finally a desi guy using the gr. I also got a griiix recently but I'm struggling to trust the exposure or the white balance on this camera. In 7/10 photos it's very off. How do you fix this?

Haha yeah when i got this camera many people asked me about this camera that clearly shows not many people know about it 🥲i mostly use everything manual so not a issue for me but for white balance what setting do you use?

hey for the last „hack“ - what do you mean by crop mode?

Actually you can set a focal length like 35mm or 50mm and this camera crops the jpeg images to give you 2 more focal length

Battery hack - it turns off the Display immediately only if you haven't selected any settings in the 2nd and 3rd columns otherwise you have to cycle through them to turn the display off. Good recommendation.

Congratulations on your shots, I really like them. One feature I discovered while reading the manual that I didn't know about is that you can set on the hold of the movie button to preview the depth of field, forcing the aperture to close. This is not very useful if you shoot in P, AV and TV, but very useful in M.

Dust issue hack. Was watching the “one camera, two weeks” channel. Here is a funny and maybe an effective way to extract dust from your camera. Open the lens and place the vacuum cleaner hose over the lens. Turn on the vacuum cleaner and the dust will be sucked off the sensor. In theory this should work. Then place a filter over the lens to prevent the return of dust to your sensor in the future.
