Great video but it really leaves out the most dramatic and exciting details of the match in Durban. The Boks were trailing 23-5 with 14 minutes remaining and scored 19 unanswered points with the last try coming on full time for the win. Additionally my boss at the time (I worked in a cocktail bar in Durban close to the stadium) was a Kiwi and went to the post-match function. He ended up chatting to James Dalton who, with great pride, told him he never grounded the ball. My Kiwi Boss was so pissed it was hilarious. I will never know if Dalton was telling the truth or just trying to wind up a Kiwi which is really his style.

Nick Mallett's 'Boks 97-98 were one of the best teams ever.
Ja and then he dropped Teighman and stuffed up the team. Very unprofessional coach that cant work out how important a solid captain is
If you look at the class of the opposition this was our best Bok season. Australia best team ever and AB were immense as well.
I couldn’t agree more with that.
I've been looking for this. Thanks.
5:11 and in the end The Springboks put the pressure beyond doubt and they would go on to win their first ever Tri Nations Title
