It’s true. I’ve been so disappointed with the brand the past year or so but it’s a collection like this that makes me realize why I love her in the first place
I am very interested in the pinks because most of her lipsticks pull orange on me...and my favourite one from all her range is Secret Salma. I need to swatch them in person because I think this time she really tried to stay on pink undertones. The red are all gorgeous, I really like Hollywood Vixen. I love how the glitter in the KISSING formula adds a 3D effect, the Elton John burgundy shade had the same effect with blue glitter and it is unique and super comfortable. 😍🥰
Exactly. I find the glitter actually comfortable and extremely flattering. It gives the lips a fuller look. Without feeling gritty thankfully. And these pinks are not going orange on me. You’re right. I think she has heard us.

I ordered Icon Baby, 90's Pink, Rose to Fame, and Pizazz. I'm glad you swatched Icon Baby on your lips and hand! It's always a gamble for me buying nude lipsticks because I'm so fair. I hate looking like I'm wearing concealer😂 I think the glitter will actually help prevent it from looking flat, so I'm glad it's in there🙂Great video, I'm so excited to try these out!
I agree and I’m so excited that we see this huge release of peaks. I’m kind of used to her doing a bunch of berries or reds around weddings or lunar new year. So this burst of pink was really fun
They all look so nice on you. I really like the Iconic Pink and the third pink you tried. I spent SO much money over the holidays that I was very judicious and only picked up one: 90’s Pink. It was the one that looked the most mauve to me, which is my color. I am going to wait until I get it and see if I feel like it needs a liner. Not all of my lipsticks do. I just went pretty hog on the new SUQQU collection and those lip balms, so we shall see.
LOVE the new lip cheat bright pink shade. :) And Mark of a Kiss and Pizzazz are totally up my alley. I’ve not been excited for her stuff in a while lol and now I am.

I like the 90s pink but concerned it might be too close to my all time favorite Glowing Jen! I wear that shade about 90% of the time Love the shade, formula, and case!

They all look gorgeous you really can carry off most colours! My faves are 90’s Pink, Rose to Fame, Red Carpet Pink & Icon Baby. I haven’t purchased any yet but I’m hoping too in the next couple of months x

@@uskye7465 Mine was not sandy AT ALL. It's 50/50 I'm finding. And one viewer says she scraped off the top portion of the lipstick and now it's no longer gritty! Like it was jumbled in the top of the bullet.

If you have any issues with texture or don’t like glitter, skip Icon Baby. It feels gritty when applying and it’s noticeable on the lips as the color starts to fade. I’ve had it on for a few hours and the glitter has migrated above my lip.

Not user error at all, Mary. They have definitely definitely improved. I thought that maybe it was imagining things with the lip liner and the Matt revolution lipstick so I compared it to some of the shades I already owned from a year or so back and, well admittedly they are older formulas in age, They still were so much more dry. They drag more everything. So it was nothing you did. The formula has improved.
I ordered Icon Baby (I love shimmery lipsticks), Red Carpet Pink and Candy Chic Pink. Looking forward to getting them. One of my favorite CT lipsticks is Liv it Up. A pretty light pink. Kim KW is pretty too although it is very pale, but still there is something special about it. Thanks for swatching and trying on the new CT lipsticks.
I have learned to love the shade Kim KW. I have to use liner or it looks like concealer lips but with the right liner and the right make up look, it is so chic

These colors really suit you! You look great in all of them. I wear pinks more often, too, but both reds really looked great on you!! I just love CT lipstick formulas. I cant even decide which formula I like more. You’re right, CT doesn’t get the hype for her lipsticks (anymore) that she deserves. CT pinks always look peachy on me, but I think Red Carpet Pink has a chance to stay pink on me. I definitely want to try it! Icon Baby may pull too peachy on me, but I still want to try it because it looked gorgeous on you. I like the idea of the sparkle you can’t feel. I think I’ll hold off on the reds right now. I have so many I love already, and I don’t wear them as much as I wear pinks, corals, and browns.
Liza, I think you’re safe with these pinks. Every time she does a pink it’s peach or orange on me. And these didn’t go the orange. So I actually think we are safe and they have heard our complaints

When I first started looking at beauty products three years ago, I thought that the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks were among the best on the market. But there have been so many really good clean lovely lipsticks released since then that the CT ones no longer are very attractive to me at all. Which is good news that there have been so many improvements in this category!

Hello Rebecca I have the Icon Baby lipstick and pencil. I’m really happy with both and wish there was a gloss to match. The kissing formula is always my favourite. Reds are not my thing at all but all the colours are very pretty. I do wonder why she never built on her nude collection I get a bit bored with the pink shades which don’t always suit my undertone. The 90’s on my lips is calling my name💋 The Mark red looks pretty on you. I know red is so in right now but have to see I could go out of my comfort zone.
Read is always out of my comfort zone as well. I like myself when I wear red but it’s really hard for me to get myself to want to wear it if that makes any sense.
To be honest, the pencils are the same color as the lipsticks so there’s no need to have both. I understand people like to match them but, honestly, it’s the same color. And thank you so much for your lovely compliment
Wasn’t going to get anything but walked, saw the display, tried on some things, and walked out with some things. I picked up the So Red(not new but Very pretty), 90s Baby, and Red Carpet liner. I was going to get a new red but I was too indecisive, and needed to run to the grocery store 😂 I’ve long loved her lippies and they are every day staples for me. I’m not a huge fan of her glosses but everything else is fabulous. I’ll probably either order or go in and pick up another day. Maybe a day when the tweens aren’t swarming the Sephora store. I thought it was an isolated thing but girls between 7 and 13 were picking CT, Fenty, Dior, Sol De Janeiro, Glossier, Hourglass, and Huda as far as I could see. Only one young girl was there with a parent. It was kind of wild to see them trying on concealer, loose powder, brow products, etc. One girl even asked me about the new Huda peach powder since I was looking at it too. Very interesting, not one was the least bit interested in any entry brands like Sephora collection or even Tarte or Too Faced.
Tracie!!!! so when I first started hearing all the stories about 10-year-olds with the platinum AMEX at Sephora, I assumed it was sensationalized nonsense, an isolated incident here were there in the country. But the more I speak to parents of tweens and the more I speak to my own kids who have friends with young sisters, apparently this is actually widespread and rampant. Exactly like you saw today. Apparently these 10-year-olds are screaming for their luxury make up like it’s a new toy. And I am shocked. I am truly shocked
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It’s quite astonishing. I get it, I was once a tween all into makeup scrubbing Glamour, Allure, and Cosmopolitan for all the newest things BUT i seldom purchased anything. My Mom started me on drug store items and it was only once I was in college working. for Estée Lauder that I ventured into higher end stuff. I had never even been into a Sephora until almost close to when I graduated from college, which was 2001! I would purchase things because I learned about them from working in a department store but we didn’t have a Sephora at the time. I remember taking my Allure Best of Beauty list to Sephora and I was just amazed at how many things they had AND things weren’t being guarded by the beauty associates at the dept store counters. As a young woman, I finally had freedom to go on beauty adventures and I haven’t looked back since 🤣 So i get the interest and maybe even the pressure but where are the parents? Why are they not stepping in to be that barrier between social media and their children. I get it, it’s super hard and has always been hard and females no matter how intentional our parents are about promoting healthy body images and stands of beauty, we still struggle, but these parents are feeding right into that ugly beast. It’s quite disturbing. It reminds me of this commercial, maybe Dove where it covers young girls BEFORE they had social media and phones and how confident and less into the pressure about his they looked. It showed once they had phones and access to social media, they became even more into their looks and comparing their bodies to others, engaging in unhealthy eating habits, disengaging from family, and struggling even more with body and self-esteem issues fueled depression. Parents sometimes underestimate the their role and how it’s ok to say no to their children. These young girls are heading down a dangerous path and I don’t see it getting better. I saw the excitement in their eyes while playing with all the stuff but is that what you want for a 11 year old girl? My Mom would let me wear makeup but she set the parameters which were never good enough. I wanted eyeliner and she was like Nope, you’re too young for that. It doesn’t mean I don’t sneak it from her or friends older sisters but at least she set the boundaries. Now there are none, what’s next?
@@traciewarren1070 this comment is entirely spot on. Entirely I was very alarmed when people started to speak of this trend and they blamed rare beauty and drunk elephant for attracting the children. I thought that was patently unfair. Drunk elephant isn’t making anti-aging creams to attract 10-year-olds. Mothers are trying to bond with their daughters in the worst way when their daughters are too young and they’re bonding in the wrong ways. I have two teenagers and you know what I see now? It’s the equivalent of this. With 10 years old, these moms want to put on cream blush or something with their daughters and eyeliners. Guess what my daughter’s friends mothers are doing? They’re trying to give alcohol to these kids. And here I am, the fuddy-duddy mother who refuses. This is the parents. This is immature mothers. And I am someone, and I know you are the same, who supports women. But this I do not support. This is bad for our daughters.

They were also looking for fragrances for the son too. This is not only bad for our daughters but destructive. If this is how moms try to bond with their children how are they going to deal with all the increased body image issues they are going to have. Moms are using this trend because they also wear the makeup being promoted on social media and parents refuse to tackle the beast of social media with their children. What happened with bonding by talking and spending time with your children, not feeding a beast that will only cause future issues. Parents aren’t putting up any rails for children in which to navigate. If they want makeup or even high end makeup, parents can say yes BUT provide limits. It’s just so disturbing.

I've tried pillow talk and it was too warm and brown like on my very pale and cool skin. I'm thinking of getting red carpet pink, it seems like a cool toned shade.
I was so excited to get Icon Baby but was really disappointed when I applied it and felt the glitter. Sounds gross but it got in my mouth and it was gritty on my teeth. I'll try it over a lip liner and maybe that will work better for me.

I would have had love to had seen comparisons.. many of those reds looks so similar to existing shades … red carpet , red hot Susan and , walk of no shame …. I love the pinks but many of the red look so similar … I order 5 lipsticks not sure if I will keep all it depends if they look similar they will be going back .
Oh I am definitely expecting to do lots of comparisons on Instagram. Request anything that you need. Super happy to do it. I don’t have every single one of her lipsticks because I just don’t wear a ton of red but I’m sure I have most of the relevant shades.

Hi Rebecca! I was excited to see CT come out with new lipsticks. They’re my favorite! I did the color matching through her app and it suggested Rose to Fame and Pizzazz for me. I might pick up Rose to Fame, as I think it might be different enough from my other CT lipsticks. Though, could you please compare Pizzazz to Carina’s Love, Red Carpet Red, and Patsy Red, if you have them? I have those 3 and think one, or more, might be close to Pizzazz. Thank you for sharing! 😊😊
I’m eyeing the fame flame one (I think that was the name) and would love to see that one next to Tell Laura and Red Hot Susan… but wish she would come out with corals and peaches. And the lipliners… she has never had a peach or coral lipliner of any depth or brightness at all. I wear bright peach and coral lips and she sells a few corals, but no liners. I had to get one from givenchy.
Heather, you are so correct. I read your comment and had to stop and think. You’re right. There’s some kind of dull oranges a little bit kind of pink or oranges but no bright coral liners. She definitely needs those
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I literally own every liner she ever made and the website typically recommends pink venus, but it is very light. I have gone though many of those but it was never ideal and I keep waiting and hoping but 🤷🏼♀️ idk she just doesn’t seem to really do much with peach at all especially. Like zero peach liners and usually nothing approaching peach for a lipstick, even limited edition. Then again most brands do not have a peach color, I have looked everywhere. Indie brands maybe but not mainstream, not at Sephora etc. Now peach is color of the year… do I dare hope?

Thanks so much for these swatches! CTs online shade pics are notoriously laughable. When you say 'cool' though...would you say any of the shades you got are *actually* COOL as in --not warm? Maybe 90s Pink? Or maybe not? Red Carpet Pink looks on camera like 'Liv It Up' of old which is sort of Barbie pink? Did you have that one? CT was actually my gateway drug to makeup obsession, so I have loads of her lipsticks and eye quads from maybe 3-4 years ago but I slowly realised that nearly all her lighter shades leaned heavily peach or orange or rose-gold, and I didn't. I think I have only two pink CT lippies (out of so many mistakes) that aren't warm leaning (The Queen and Secret Salma/Selma?) but all the rest, including Pillow Talk, bear no relationship to their description (nude pink? *laughs bitterly*) when I wear them. Weirdly though her darker shades (reds and browns) do work with my skin tone even if they lean warm (like Red Hot Susan which was the lipstick that made me realise my skin tone may actually be neutral/cool rather than cool). I never have understood why the darker CT lippies work and the pale ones are all wrong. *Anyway*, thats the sad tale of why CT and I had to break up. It was very messy. She got all the money.
I love this comment. I broke up with Charlotte for a while too and she also took all of my money in the settlement. That’s too funny. You know, these pinks are cool and actually stay nice and pink. Previous to this I used to replace the word pink in her lipstick names with the word orange. so if the lipstick was called famously pink I changed the name to famously orange. You get the idea. But these actually stay truly pink. I am shocked. I think you are safe to look again. But that’s like revisiting the ex.
Surprisingly not but but but if you wipe away the lipstick early on, THEN there is glitter there. When I do swatches and remove it, I am left with a lot of it on my hand.
Love all the colors but I got several of her mini lipsticks and they got the chemical smell that is my pet peeve when it comes to lipsticks or cosmetics in general 😅😅😅
I wonder if you would smell those in these new releases as they are definitely a bit of a reformulation. You would have to try in person to make sure first of course

It’s so strange. That shade is like a 50/50 chance. Half of us feel nothing. The other half feel sand. Some say they can scrape away some of the glitter on top and it’s much better.
This is a great question and I have to kind of sit here and stare at the wall and think about it for a moment. No. I’m gonna go with no. It’s kind of like that Elton John lipstick with the blue kind of crystal reflective particles in it. It ends up kind of making the lips look a bit fuller but it doesn’t give it a frosty look. So I’m going to go with no on that.
I bought icon baby and it absolutely feels like sandpaper on your lips. It’s very uncomfortable. It looks pretty and the color is amazing but the texture is awful. I wish it didn’t have glitter in it.
This is the strangest thing and it must be a quality control issue. Mine is totally smooth. Other people say they have the sandpaper feeling. I have another viewer who told me that all of her glitter was on the top and she actually kind of scraped a little bit of it off and now it’s considerably smoother. So that’s really interesting.
No matter what I try I always go back to Charlotte. She’s the best.

I totally agree. The glitter is not gritty and it’s not frosty. Instead of just adds dimension which is really nice I think.

I agree and I’m so excited that we see this huge release of peaks. I’m kind of used to her doing a bunch of berries or reds around weddings or lunar new year. So this burst of pink was really fun
They all look so nice on you. I really like the Iconic Pink and the third pink you tried. I spent SO much money over the holidays that I was very judicious and only picked up one: 90’s Pink. It was the one that looked the most mauve to me, which is my color. I am going to wait until I get it and see if I feel like it needs a liner. Not all of my lipsticks do. I just went pretty hog on the new SUQQU collection and those lip balms, so we shall see.

If you have any issues with texture or don’t like glitter, skip Icon Baby. It feels gritty when applying and it’s noticeable on the lips as the color starts to fade. I’ve had it on for a few hours and the glitter has migrated above my lip.

Not user error at all, Mary. They have definitely definitely improved. I thought that maybe it was imagining things with the lip liner and the Matt revolution lipstick so I compared it to some of the shades I already owned from a year or so back and, well admittedly they are older formulas in age, They still were so much more dry. They drag more everything. So it was nothing you did. The formula has improved.

I ordered Icon Baby (I love shimmery lipsticks), Red Carpet Pink and Candy Chic Pink. Looking forward to getting them. One of my favorite CT lipsticks is Liv it Up. A pretty light pink. Kim KW is pretty too although it is very pale, but still there is something special about it. Thanks for swatching and trying on the new CT lipsticks.
I have learned to love the shade Kim KW. I have to use liner or it looks like concealer lips but with the right liner and the right make up look, it is so chic

I just love CT lipstick formulas. I cant even decide which formula I like more. You’re right, CT doesn’t get the hype for her lipsticks (anymore) that she deserves.
CT pinks always look peachy on me, but I think Red Carpet Pink has a chance to stay pink on me. I definitely want to try it! Icon Baby may pull too peachy on me, but I still want to try it because it looked gorgeous on you. I like the idea of the sparkle you can’t feel.
I think I’ll hold off on the reds right now. I have so many I love already, and I don’t wear them as much as I wear pinks, corals, and browns.
Liza, I think you’re safe with these pinks. Every time she does a pink it’s peach or orange on me. And these didn’t go the orange. So I actually think we are safe and they have heard our complaints

When I first started looking at beauty products three years ago, I thought that the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks were among the best on the market. But there have been so many really good clean lovely lipsticks released since then that the CT ones no longer are very attractive to me at all. Which is good news that there have been so many improvements in this category!
&, Liza, Charlotte herself seems to have improved this formula as well. This is much better than it even ever was

Hello Rebecca I have the Icon Baby lipstick and pencil. I’m really happy with both and wish there was a gloss to match. The kissing formula is always my favourite. Reds are not my thing at all but all the colours are very pretty. I do wonder why she never built on her nude collection I get a bit bored with the pink shades which don’t always suit my undertone. To be honest, the pencils are the same color as the lipsticks so there’s no need to have both. I understand people like to match them but, honestly, it’s the same color. And thank you so much for your lovely compliment
Wasn’t going to get anything but walked, saw the display, tried on some things, and walked out with some things. I picked up the So Red(not new but Very pretty), 90s Baby, and Red Carpet liner. I was going to get a new red but I was too indecisive, and needed to run to the grocery store 😂 I’ve long loved her lippies and they are every day staples for me. I’m not a huge fan of her glosses but everything else is fabulous. I’ll probably either order or go in and pick up another day. Maybe a day when the tweens aren’t swarming the Sephora store. I thought it was an isolated thing but girls between 7 and 13 were picking CT, Fenty, Dior, Sol De Janeiro, Glossier, Hourglass, and Huda as far as I could see. Only one young girl was there with a parent. It was kind of wild to see them trying on concealer, loose powder, brow products, etc. One girl even asked me about the new Huda peach powder since I was looking at it too. Very interesting, not one was the least bit interested in any entry brands like Sephora collection or even Tarte or Too Faced.
Tracie!!!! so when I first started hearing all the stories about 10-year-olds with the platinum AMEX at Sephora, I assumed it was sensationalized nonsense, an isolated incident here were there in the country. But the more I speak to parents of tweens and the more I speak to my own kids who have friends with young sisters, apparently this is actually widespread and rampant. Exactly like you saw today. Apparently these 10-year-olds are screaming for their luxury make up like it’s a new toy. And I am shocked. I am truly shocked
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It’s quite astonishing. I get it, I was once a tween all into makeup scrubbing Glamour, Allure, and Cosmopolitan for all the newest things BUT i seldom purchased anything. My Mom started me on drug store items and it was only once I was in college working. for Estée Lauder that I ventured into higher end stuff. I had never even been into a Sephora until almost close to when I graduated from college, which was 2001! I would purchase things because I learned about them from working in a department store but we didn’t have a Sephora at the time. I remember taking my Allure Best of Beauty list to Sephora and I was just amazed at how many things they had AND things weren’t being guarded by the beauty associates at the dept store counters. As a young woman, I finally had freedom to go on beauty adventures and I haven’t looked back since 🤣 So i get the interest and maybe even the pressure but where are the parents? Why are they not stepping in to be that barrier between social media and their children. I get it, it’s super hard and has always been hard and females no matter how intentional our parents are about promoting healthy body images and stands of beauty, we still struggle, but these parents are feeding right into that ugly beast. It’s quite disturbing. It reminds me of this commercial, maybe Dove where it covers young girls BEFORE they had social media and phones and how confident and less into the pressure about his they looked. It showed once they had phones and access to social media, they became even more into their looks and comparing their bodies to others, engaging in unhealthy eating habits, disengaging from family, and struggling even more with body and self-esteem issues fueled depression. Parents sometimes underestimate the their role and how it’s ok to say no to their children. These young girls are heading down a dangerous path and I don’t see it getting better. I saw the excitement in their eyes while playing with all the stuff but is that what you want for a 11 year old girl? My Mom would let me wear makeup but she set the parameters which were never good enough. I wanted eyeliner and she was like Nope, you’re too young for that. It doesn’t mean I don’t sneak it from her or friends older sisters but at least she set the boundaries. Now there are none, what’s next?
@@traciewarren1070 this comment is entirely spot on. Entirely I was very alarmed when people started to speak of this trend and they blamed rare beauty and drunk elephant for attracting the children. I thought that was patently unfair. Drunk elephant isn’t making anti-aging creams to attract 10-year-olds. Mothers are trying to bond with their daughters in the worst way when their daughters are too young and they’re bonding in the wrong ways. I have two teenagers and you know what I see now? It’s the equivalent of this. With 10 years old, these moms want to put on cream blush or something with their daughters and eyeliners. Guess what my daughter’s friends mothers are doing? They’re trying to give alcohol to these kids. And here I am, the fuddy-duddy mother who refuses. This is the parents. This is immature mothers. And I am someone, and I know you are the same, who supports women. But this I do not support. This is bad for our daughters.
@@NotFitforPrintBeautyEXACTLY!! I thought the same thing about bonding when I saw the one parent with her daughter. They were trying on products, including fragrances. ALL HIGH END. They were also looking for fragrances for the son too. This is not only bad for our daughters but destructive. If this is how moms try to bond with their children how are they going to deal with all the increased body image issues they are going to have. Moms are using this trend because they also wear the makeup being promoted on social media and parents refuse to tackle the beast of social media with their children. What happened with bonding by talking and spending time with your children, not feeding a beast that will only cause future issues. Parents aren’t putting up any rails for children in which to navigate. If they want makeup or even high end makeup, parents can say yes BUT provide limits. It’s just so disturbing.
FOR SURE. I started off out of college teaching English and the parents. Wow. Just...wow. And I hear it's gotten so much worse. There was a bumper sticker I saw once and the pun, tho nerdy, made me laugh. It said "The problem with kids today is APPARENT." @@traciewarren1070

I've tried pillow talk and it was too warm and brown like on my very pale and cool skin. I'm thinking of getting red carpet pink, it seems like a cool toned shade.
These pinks are FINALLY cool toned. They do not turn orange. It's such a relief.
I was so excited to get Icon Baby but was really disappointed when I applied it and felt the glitter. Sounds gross but it got in my mouth and it was gritty on my teeth. I'll try it over a lip liner and maybe that will work better for me.
I am now hearing people who say they feel it. I must have steel lips because, oddly, I don’t feel the grit but I def saw glitter remnants.

I would have had love to had seen comparisons.. many of those reds looks so similar to existing shades … red carpet , red hot Susan and , walk of no shame …. I love the pinks but many of the red look so similar … I order 5 lipsticks not sure if I will keep all it depends if they look similar they will be going back .

Hi Rebecca! I was excited to see CT come out with new lipsticks. They’re my favorite! I did the color matching through her app and it suggested Rose to Fame and Pizzazz for me. I might pick up Rose to Fame, as I think it might be different enough from my other CT lipsticks. Though, could you please compare Pizzazz to Carina’s Love, Red Carpet Red, and Patsy Red, if you have them? I have those 3 and think one, or more, might be close to Pizzazz. Thank you for sharing! 😊😊

I’m eyeing the fame flame one (I think that was the name) and would love to see that one next to Tell Laura and Red Hot Susan… but wish she would come out with corals and peaches. And the lipliners… she has never had a peach or coral lipliner of any depth or brightness at all. I wear bright peach and coral lips and she sells a few corals, but no liners. I had to get one from givenchy.
Heather, you are so correct. I read your comment and had to stop and think. You’re right. There’s some kind of dull oranges a little bit kind of pink or oranges but no bright coral liners. She definitely needs those
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I literally own every liner she ever made and the website typically recommends pink venus, but it is very light. I have gone though many of those but it was never ideal and I keep waiting and hoping but 🤷🏼♀️ idk she just doesn’t seem to really do much with peach at all especially. Like zero peach liners and usually nothing approaching peach for a lipstick, even limited edition. Then again most brands do not have a peach color, I have looked everywhere. Indie brands maybe but not mainstream, not at Sephora etc. Now peach is color of the year… do I dare hope?

Thanks so much for these swatches! CTs online shade pics are notoriously laughable. When you say 'cool' though...would you say any of the shades you got are *actually* COOL as in --not warm? Maybe 90s Pink? Or maybe not? Red Carpet Pink looks on camera like 'Liv It Up' of old which is sort of Barbie pink? Did you have that one? CT was actually my gateway drug to makeup obsession, so I have loads of her lipsticks and eye quads from maybe 3-4 years ago but I slowly realised that nearly all her lighter shades leaned heavily peach or orange or rose-gold, and I didn't. I think I have only two pink CT lippies (out of so many mistakes) that aren't warm leaning (The Queen and Secret Salma/Selma?) but all the rest, including Pillow Talk, bear no relationship to their description (nude pink? *laughs bitterly*) when I wear them. Weirdly though her darker shades (reds and browns) do work with my skin tone even if they lean warm (like Red Hot Susan which was the lipstick that made me realise my skin tone may actually be neutral/cool rather than cool). I never have understood why the darker CT lippies work and the pale ones are all wrong. *Anyway*, thats the sad tale of why CT and I had to break up. It was very messy. She got all the money.
I love this comment. I broke up with Charlotte for a while too and she also took all of my money in the settlement. That’s too funny. You know, these pinks are cool and actually stay nice and pink. Previous to this I used to replace the word pink in her lipstick names with the word orange. so if the lipstick was called famously pink I changed the name to famously orange. You get the idea. But these actually stay truly pink. I am shocked. I think you are safe to look again. But that’s like revisiting the ex.

Surprisingly not but but but if you wipe away the lipstick early on, THEN there is glitter there. When I do swatches and remove it, I am left with a lot of it on my hand.

Love all the colors but I got several of her mini lipsticks and they got the chemical smell that is my pet peeve when it comes to lipsticks or cosmetics in general 😅😅😅

It’s so strange. That shade is like a 50/50 chance. Half of us feel nothing. The other half feel sand. Some say they can scrape away some of the glitter on top and it’s much better.

This is a great question and I have to kind of sit here and stare at the wall and think about it for a moment. No. I’m gonna go with no. It’s kind of like that Elton John lipstick with the blue kind of crystal reflective particles in it. It ends up kind of making the lips look a bit fuller but it doesn’t give it a frosty look. So I’m going to go with no on that.

I bought icon baby and it absolutely feels like sandpaper on your lips. It’s very uncomfortable. It looks pretty and the color is amazing but the texture is awful. I wish it didn’t have glitter in it.
This is the strangest thing and it must be a quality control issue. Mine is totally smooth. Other people say they have the sandpaper feeling. I have another viewer who told me that all of her glitter was on the top and she actually kind of scraped a little bit of it off and now it’s considerably smoother. So that’s really interesting.
