Greetings from Paphos in Cyprus ,Very informative for me as a beginner I’m learning before investing in birds I must do my homework and this is a fantastic start thank you I will be glued to all your content
Thank you, paphos is one of my favourite places in the world, I’ve spent many happy times in the pelican bar on the harbour
@@TheCanaryRoom next time you pop over we will meet for a pint 🍺 looking forward to starting my journey with canaries I’m wondering is it possible to get canaries from 🇬🇧 or should I rather stick to a local pet store what would you do ?
Absolutely BRILLIANT! What a valuable resource for the hobby...
Thank you Matt. Very informative
Thanks Matt, excellent as always.
may God give you happiness. Mr. Matt, I am Fahad from Saudi Arabia and I am also a Satin Canary fanatic. I hope your words are translated into Arabic. You are clearly a storehouse of valuable information. Thank you, dear sir.

Great show matt
Really helpful
Love it Matt!
Thanks mate
An excellent informative video
Thanks gust getting started in birds,
Very best of luck
Great video! When I kept birds I went with border canaries and quickly moved over to Fifes. I also had a couple of rollers and a mate of mine was always trying to get me into Yorkshires, but they just didn't appeal to me.
Thank you so much for your video
Really glad you enjoyed it
Nice one mate, some good information for beginners
Thanks mate
i love Agate Red Mosaic Canary
great info. I had no idea what the difference was between yellow and buff.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi from Morocco birds ❤❤🎉🎉
Superb
Thanks for the video, what can I do if a male and female mated, she laid eggs but she is not sitting on her eggs. She carries nesting material but for some reason doesn't finish making her nest.
I’d be tempted to separate them, pop baths on and give them another go in a week
Wonder if I can keep them in the same next while the hen is in the nest ?
Great video, Matt. A lot of hens sing a few notes. I've a couple here now. They sit there sing low notes not loud like a cock bird. A question matt , where you get the number tags on the front of your cages. I've been looking on google but can't find none. ?
Hi I love your Chanel! I have two green singer and two canary’s! And I would lik to build an aviary for outside! I live in San Diego California and we don’t have a major winter! Most of the time is like spring and fall! What is the lowest temperature that canary can survive And in what temperture they need heater?! Please let me know! Thank you
Canaries will be fine without any heat, they don’t do well will draughts though so make sure there’s part of the aviary covered top and corners so they have somewhere to roost
Count down 😊😅
Oops should be very. Not dry at all.
Thanks 🙏
Expected nothing less. Awesome job Matt. Great information for the beginner and a great resource for clubs to utilize.
Thanks lovely xx
How do you pick birds for developing a singer? Granted the colors on the birds are great in your collection. For a canary though, isn't it the quality of the song also? Just a thought.
There are specific canaries bred for song, the roller and waterslager are a couple of examples. Most male canaries have a pleasant song in my opinion
@@TheCanaryRoom At the bird shows, are there specific judges for the singers to pick out the best? Have you tried to raise a champion singer? Great videos you make. I apologize for all the questions.
@@growclipbonsaiforseniors1951 there are yes, different judges for all of the different types of canaries. I appreciate your messages 👍
@@TheCanaryRoom Thank you. If you get to a bird show, can you show a prized singer? Never seen one prized just for the singing.
my birds fight when they are together , why ? maybe they are not ready?!!
That’s normally the case
If a female Canary losers, her mates before she lays eggs? Can she still find another male before she lays. I don’t think he fertilized her eggs yet.
Great video, Matt. A lot of hens sing a few notes. I've a couple here now. They sit there sing low notes not loud like a cock bird. A question matt , where you get the number tags on the front of your cages. I've been looking on google but can't find none. ?
