Great idea if you don't have to re wire you entire house. Really for a new build install, this is a pricy but very useful way of automating your home

I was going to say the same, every switch, light, plug etc etc would have to have its own individual cable pulled. Far as i am concerned this is an over-complicated system that can be achieved much easier with HomeAssistant,

@@spreadItWide lol, will you go pull all that cable for free. 😂 I'm happy with my HA and have lots of fun with it. I don't deny it looks cool but it's not practical and I'm a practical elec engineer and coder.

@@travismailsa1 lol, oh it's far from practical! But it would be fun! I'm building a wireless version of this for my house (house is only 10 years old, nothing is "smart"). But I'm building all the hardware and software from scratch so instead of redistributing the power, I leave it as is and just monitor/interact with IoT over my network with WebRTC and a MQTT server on a node app (for now). Not sure why I felt the need to update you on my project, but there it is lol. I'm open to suggestions if you feel like it (my end goal is no 3rd party integrations, and I only want to be able to connect to my custom built IoT devices).
