Rouge smoking has that Lost Cherry kind of vibe. Personally, I don't feel comfortable (as a men) to wear Rouge Smoking. I rather wear crème de cuir or bdk oud abramad.
Wow! Great interview. I love hearing from these guys. I’m interested in Nuit de Sable, Rouge Smoking and Wood Jasmine. I love when you guys talked about stepping out away from the creation of a fragrance and then coming back to it. That’s so true for creatives.
Never heard of this brand but cool video and definitely gives another dimension to fragrance - interesting to hear the creator's process. Really appreciate that they try to make long lasting fragrances - longevity is always my main issue with perfumes. Guess I'll have to jump on the bandwagon with Rouge Smoking, lots of hype on this one and would love to check it out.

Hi Steven! This is my first ever comment on a TH-cam video. But it's also the perfect video to thank you so so much for helping me find my signature scent (After 3 years of buying different scents and countless samples). You mentioned BDK's Bouquet de Hongrie as one of your favorite feminine fragrances for the Summer. I ordered a sample from Luckyscent, and the next day ordered a full bottle. The entire evolution from the top to the dry down is perfect chemistry on my skin. The full bottle purchase came with 7 additional BDK samples. They are beautiful as well. David Benedek's work is so modern, elevated and chic with just the right amount of restraint. Has your wife tried spraying Bouquet de Hongrie with an added dab of Wood Jasmine on the pulse points? Great to see this interview with David Benedek. I coincidentally just received two samples of BDK this week from LuckyScent. I would say Gris Charnel is my favorite. I would love to try your personal favorite.
I bought my first and currently only BDK from Harrods, unplanned. I found all of them good quality, but difficult to describe, which is actually a huge plus for me. Even the one I went for, Pas Ce Soir, I chose because it triggered a feeling of familiarity that I still have not pinned down. I would love to try either of their new scents if they are of similar quality, especially Citrus Riviera. Great interview.
Great video! The content here is fantastic with the additional background and perspective provided by David. All the BDK fragrences sound very high quality. Tubereuse imperiale and Gris Charnel probably catch my interest the most.
Have just begun experiencing this house, and I am loving it. I have tested and fully enjoyed Wood Jasmin and Oud Abramad (interestingly am wearing it today!). So would really enjoy trying Rouge Smoking. Wonderful interview, thanks!

Wood Jasmine and Smoking Rouge are both amazing scents. I have sampled both via Max Aroma. I found Wood Jasmine to be my go to because of its crisp floral quality. It dries subtly after a while and would probably be my choice between the two. Smoking Rouge has been an evening scent for me and only wear when the weather is cooler as it can be thick and juicy. It evokes a bit of exotic mystery like a stroll through a Souk at night. Looking forward to learning more about the others.

I love this parfum!! I'm going out with it in this fall and winter. This smells like "BLACK TIE" - CELINE by Hedi Sliman. But "BlACK TIE" has strong and directly vanilla fragrance. （This is just a personal opinion of mine) I love "Rouge Smoking" becouse of well balance of each fragrance❤️

I've gotta say, a lot of these fragrances sound great. Some interesting notes, like strawberry, a hot sand accord, chocolate...some stuff you don't find in a lot of mainstream fragrances. The best sounding ones to me would be Citrus Riviera, Tubereuse Imperiale, Tabac Rose, and Pas Ce Soir. This house sounds very intriguing. Thanks for entering me in the giveaway!
