Nice video sir. I need to know I have 2013 Audi A8 and I wanted to install a fakra antenna behind the multimedia. So where do the fakra antenna connect goes into the multimedia player or behind the monitor screen?

Great video. My issue is that my display will not go up. I have done the reset and I have checked the fuse. When I get to the step where the MMI needs to come out of the dash, it will not, because I cannot raise it up. Is there a way to get around this? Can I manually raise it? I assume a wire to the motor is broken. Is that common in D4? THANKS!!!!!

Hello, my mmi screen wont retract back and is very loose. Im thinking it has something to do with gears slipping. Do you have a video showing how to teplace the gears for the mmi screen for 13 audi a8?

Thats very helpful. My display intermittently flickers out but otherwise the systems work normally so I think it is the power supply to the screen which is faulty. Is that the yellow cables?

I got all the way following this video and found one wire is broken right at the connection to the bottom of the MMI screen. The wiring bundle is very short and I can't pull the MMI unit out more than a few centimeters so very difficult access to try soldering. How to release the wiring bundle to allow the MMI unit to come further out of the dash?

My display tries to open but it clicks and won’t go all the way up or all the way down. Almost like it’s off the track or grinding the gears?

Check the flat cable for the power and it has only 2 or 3 of wires.

Hey, did you ever get this issue taken care of? Mine is doing the same thing and sounds like gears are slipping. Upon endless research, I figured out that it may be the plastice factory gear that may be worn but unsure.

Do you have replacement display screens? My screen works but stuck open. I can hear the motor running but screen will not retract even with a factory reset. I suspect Screen motor but probably figuring easier and cheaper in the long run to just R/R the entire display screen.

Monitor does not need programming but Multi Media player requires programming even with the same part number.

Worst Video Ever, there are 3 bolts from the Back of the Black Trim that can only be accessed with the Glove Box Removed prying the trim out broken them and the new trim is 600.00, there must be a reason they showed the video with all the fasteners and trim already removed because they broke all the hardware as well
