Epic finish to Combined Sedans race: 2024 Repco Bathurst 12 Hour

- The Bathurst 12 Hour, currently known as the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour, is an endurance race for GT and production cars held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, in Bathurst, Australia.
It is an annual race, taking place every February. The race was first held in 1991 for Series Production cars and moved to Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway in 1995 before being discontinued. The race was revived in 2007, again for production cars, before adding a new class for GT3 and other GT cars in 2011. This has led to unprecedented domestic and international exposure for the event. In all, eighteen races have taken place; seventeen at Mount Panorama and one at Eastern Creek Raceway.

We have a few actually, but they're usually not souped up monsters like this.
Could see the green mustang had the better exit speed out of most of the corners, good patience from the driver to not push for it too early when he didn't have the right chance. Brilliant racing from both of the cars.

That mustang with about 900 horsepower sounds like an old F1 car in the distance and once it gets up close sounds like a Supercar, that's terrifying 🥶🥶

Wow! That is one fast 1970 Ford Mustang. At first I was thinking maybe FE power but nope. A nice 360 ci Roush/Yates Nascar powerplant. Those things twist in the 9k range. You could tell when he went by. Sounded sweet.

@@wignallyt pfff, so basically this is a bit staged. He could have passed him easier, but holds back because of staying within the lap time margin. Explains why he caught up so fast after he got stuck at the end of the straight.

This is amazing
What makes this race so good is the cars are different with different strengths and weaknesses. Not a boring procession with ‘parity’ between the cars. You’ll never see a race like this in stupidcars.
Fogg will be kicking himself for that mistake at the end. Foggy time to turn it up brother.

This type of racing kicks the shit out of f1, Supercars and nascar. Homologation has ruined top class racing when it was suppose to fix it

Their top speed was around 290kph, they were going FAST. I watched it live and it this clip doesn't look very different to me.
If you look at the timer on the top left you see it goes by second by second normal speed. They are just fast AF
