    Great review mate. My old R10th hated the Bisleys but loved the air arms. I still rely on my old r10se for squirrels etc as it’s never failed me but this rifle you’ve reviewed is absolutely stunning. Keep up the good work

    I would extend the tripod up, didn’t look comfortable at all, sure it will improve the groups 👍

      Yeah totally. Clearly rushed it. Now I’ve used it more I’m enjoying it at the right height.

    You could probably do with a tad better scope on the R12, next rifle the surplus store give you to review, ask them to furnish it with an appropriate scope, the difference will be enlightening..

    Excellent video.
    I have a BSA R10SE 177cal. Since Iam from the USA its full power over here.
    Purchased it new in 2020. Its consistent, accurate, reliable and beautiful. Walnut with bolt action. I've never had one problem with it in thousands of shots.
    I'll never sell it.

      @@tvm-reviews I don't post videos. But if I decide to in the future, I'll post it here.
      Iam somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to certain things. If I make videos they will be centered around in depth reviews and be of the best quality. Similar to AEAC.
      But it's a right handed walnut version with full length barrel with shroud. The wood is very nice with deep lines in the grain. It's my favorite rifle. I even like it better than my powder burners.

    I bought the R12 when it was launched and have had no problems and is my go to gun now it’s so comfortable to shoot and is as accurate as anything else I own including my Fx crown mk II with a GRS stock.

    Another good video on a beautiful gun. That will probably be my next rifle. That $1000+ rifle deserves a better scope, something with AO, and on bench w bipod, should shoot one hole group's all day long. Other than that, you did a fantastic job covering that rifle.

    I've had the R12 CLX PRO, super carbine in .177cal since ethe 1st week it came out. I have to say, I've been really impressed with it. I shoot H&N field target trophys and JSB exacts

    Hello my friends,
    I have only been air rifle shooting a few years, not as long as some of you guys. I'm fifty three years old and given the opportunity, I'd have had air rifles all my life, I love them, though that wasnt to be.
    After reading some the comments so far, I hope what I have to write maybe of benefit.
    I have this air rifle in .177, with a thumbhole walnut stock. Mine too, puts pellet on pellet at any range upto forty yards. I don't normally shoot beyond that.
    I have the BSA R10, just before BSA altered the action to the one piece mono block action, and new regulator. To me, theyre both beautiful, worthy, able air rifles, though my R12 just feels like it sends that .177 JSB Heavy pellet much better than the R10 it replaced. It seems to fly harder, flatter, straighter and hits with an almighty thump, to the point that at my level of experience, I don't need a .22 sized pellet. The overall shooting experience, side lever action, air rifle handling to me is sublime, of the BSA R12.
    I recently tried a Weihrauch HW100KT in .177. Pardon the pun, it's German engineering and bullet proof and puts pellet on pellet at forty yards all day long.
    I'm obviously more experienced with my R12 and wouldnt swap it for anything. It's to me, a beautiful, gorgeous piece of kit that I cant wait to use and don't ever want to put down. Their magazines are twelve shot, with a counter. They're fantastic and problem free, a joy to use. The Weihrauch is a great, able, capable air rifle, no question. I just adore my R12, end of.
    With great respect, my friend, when you are shooting and trying to hit a target, you need to be as comfortable as you can. You need everything going for you and in your favour.
    I know what you mean with your heartbeat. I have a pacemaker. Lots of people do, its no big deal. However, I wonder if my heartbeat does affect my accuracy?
    I wish you much luck my friend,with your R12. If you love yours like I love mine, you'll not go far wrong. I hope what I've written was of benefit to you and helps you or anyone along your/their air rifle journey, as that was my intention.
    Thank you, Ian.

      Thanks Ian. I am a person who believes in feedback and I welcome it all. I do not believe my standing position was great and I usually like to bench fire. With this review I at least saw which the barrel preferred and will continue to work with those. The beauty of shooting with these is that I can only get better. Thank you!

    Does that tripod go any higher? You look really uncomfortable hunched over shooting that it's probably affecting your accuracy.

    Definitely need to raise that bipod higher and the target needs to be higher to take the stress off you from that awkward position

    Should have used Hades 16.8 grains. I had my gun since launch and tried lots of different pellets and Hades are ones my gun likes the best. It shoots pellet on pellet consistently on the bench and I love it and will never sell it.

    • @tvm-reviews
      @tvm-reviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe this gun specifically had some accuracy issues. Plus me adding to that… 😏. I’ve come a long way since this rifle. So.. I think after the wedding I may get hands on with another BSA of some sorts. 👍🏻✌️

    Take all, or at least most of the human error out of a pellet test by using front and rear rest, or clamped in a bench rest TYPE item.. Its then the actual rifle that's doing the majority of the acuraccy Input.. Shooting off sticks, even super expensive ones still means a fair bit of the Input is human because they do still move if you don't use them correctly,
    Don't know the weight of the bizleys you were using, but compared to the others, but the "drop" at the point of impact @ 25mtrs was quite a lot.. I'm guessing near 20grn?, probably a bit heavy in sub 12,

    • @tvm-reviews
      @tvm-reviews  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yeah. Definitely felt the weight in the bisleys. Need to weigh them as it doesn’t say the grain on the tin. I want to go back out there tomorrow and bench it. See what the difference is. Cheers!!!

      Set pod at shoulder height, one tripod leg forward, push slightly into the front leg for stability
