Just as I was about to criticise Essumans exits/withdrawals/pull outs he gets cracked with a right hook as he pulls out. Hi team need to tighten up his defence. Once the levels improve he’ll struggle. Both fighters made this harder than it should have been. Both hard as nails but very little finesse. Short careers at this rate.

Vaughan's defence is bad. He needs to video study great boxers who were in the past and are today brilliant at avoiding punches. Ben should learn from them. Hundreds of hours of studying the art of hitting and not getting hit. Practicing and copying their defensive techniques over and over again until they become second nature. Mayweather is a great example. Go further back Willie Pep, Sweet Pea, and Ali, of course. Ben should learn to step back to create distance to give himself time to plan his attacks. Watch Floyd and Terence. Both brilliant at keeping their distance to set up combinations that took many great fighters apart. Still early in his career, so good luck Ben. Less all out aggression and more ring craft, more elusive skills, more thoughtful boxing IQ can take him to the highest levels in boxing and that will serve him well in the future.
