How to attain Sincerity: 1. Purify your intention. Ask your self, “why are you doing/saying what you’re doing/saying”? Sincerity will make you earn reward even if the action was not done; as long as you had the intention (sincerely) to do/say it; if you started doing but did not finish it. If you had intention to do it, but you did it wrong (unintentionally). 2. Get addicted to hidden actions; tahajud, charity to another country, don’t tell anyone of your good actions. The sincere person hides good deeds, like he hides his evil deeds. 3. Don’t remind anyone of your good actions, even for a ‘thank you’. Only do it for the sake of Allah. Do it & forget it. 4. Beg Allah with dua to protect yourself from showing off. (Ya Allah I seek refuge to You from showing off my good deeds, being proud about it or from reminding others about it). First 3 people in hellfire: 1. The memorizer of Quran (with wrong intention) 2. One who gives charity (with wrong intention) 3. The shahid (with wrong intention) Opposite of sincerity is Riyya (showing off [also its shirk asSugra].
